I reached the Prophet ﷺ in the mosque while he was bowing in prayer and I too bowed before joining the row mentioned it to the Prophet ﷺ and he said to me, "May Allah increase your love for the good. But do not repeat it again (bowing in that way).

أَنَّهُ انْتَهَى إِلَى النَّبِيِّ ﷺ وَهْوَ رَاكِعٌ فَرَكَعَ قَبْلَ أَنْ يَصِلَ إِلَى الصَّفِّ فَذَكَرَ ذَلِكَ لِلنَّبِيِّ ﷺ فَقَالَ زَادَكَ اللَّهُ حِرْصًا وَلاَ تَعُدْ

Abu Bakrah said that he came to the mosque when the prophet ﷺ was bowing. So I bowed outside the row (before joining it). The prophet ﷺ said; May Allah increase your eagerness! But do not do it again.

أَنَّهُ دَخَلَ الْمَسْجِدَ وَنَبِيُّ اللَّهِ ﷺ رَاكِعٌ قَالَ فَرَكَعْتُ دُونَ الصَّفِّ فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ زَادَكَ اللَّهُ حِرْصًا وَلاَ تَعُدْ

Abu Bakrah said that he came to the mosque when the prophet ﷺ was bowing. So I bowed outside the row (before joining it). The prophet ﷺ said; May Allah increase your eagerness! But do not do it again. (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 683)

[AI] Abu Bakrah entered the mosque and the Imam was bowing. Abu Bakrah also bowed before reaching the row. The Prophet ﷺ said to him, "May Allah increase your eagerness, but do not count (the rows)."

أَنَّ أَبَا بَكْرَةَ دَخَلَ الْمَسْجِدَ وَالْإِمَامُ رَاكِعٌ فَرَكَعَ قَبْلَ أَنْ يَصِلَ إِلَى الصَّفِّ فَقَالَ لَهُ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ زَادَكَ اللهُ حِرْصًا وَلَا تَعُدْ

[AI] I came and the Prophet ﷺ was in a state of prostration, and my breath was exhausted, so I prostrated without being in line with the row. When the Messenger of Allah ﷺ finished the prayer, he said, "Who among you prostrated without being in line with the row?" I said, "I did." He said, "May Allah increase your eagerness, but do not repeat it."

جِئْتُ وَنَبِيُّ اللهِ ﷺ رَاكِعٌ قَدْ حَفَزَنِي النَّفَسُ فَرَكَعْتُ دُونَ الصَّفِّ فَلَمَّا قَضَى رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ الصَّلَاةَ قَالَ أَيُّكُمْ رَكَعَ دُونَ الصَّفِّ؟ قُلْتُ أَنَا قَالَ زَادَكَ اللهُ حِرْصًا وَلَا تَعُدْ

[AI] Abu Bakr entered the mosque and found the Prophet ﷺ in the state of Rukoo' (bowing in prayer). Abu Bakr also performed Rukoo' and then proceeded to join the prayer row. The Prophet ﷺ said to him, "May Allah increase your eagerness, but don't repeat this."

أَنَّ أَبَا بَكْرَةَ دَخَلَ الْمَسْجِدَ وَالنَّبِيُّ ﷺ رَاكِعٌ فَرَكَعَ ثُمَّ مَشَى حَتَّى لَحِقَ بِالصَّفِّ فَقَالَ لَهُ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ «زَادَكَ اللَّهُ حِرْصًا وَلَا تَعُدْ»

[AI] Abu Bakr al-Siddiq and Zaid bin Thabit entered the mosque, and the imam was in the state of bowing. They joined him in the bowing position, then made a third bow while still in the bowing position until they caught up with the row.

أَنَّ أَبَا بَكْرٍ الصِّدِّيقَ وَزَيْدَ بْنَ ثَابِتٍ دَخَلَا الْمَسْجِدَ وَالْإِمَامُ رَاكِعٌ فَرَكَعَا ثُمَّ دَبَّا وَهُمَا رَاكِعَانِ حَتَّى لَحِقَا بِالصَّفِّ
