I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say, when he was in ‘Aqiq: “Someone came to me from my Lord and said: ‘Pray in this blessed valley and say: (I intend to do) ‘Umrah in Hajj.’”
سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ وَهُوَ بِالْعَقِيقِ أَتَانِي آتٍ مِنْ رَبِّي فَقَالَ صَلِّ فِي هَذَا الْوَادِي الْمُبَارَكِ وَقُلْ عُمْرَةٌ فِي حَجَّةٍ وَاللَّفْظُ لِدُحَيْمٍ
In the valley of Al-ʿAqiq I heard Messenger of Allah ﷺ saying, "To night a messenger came to me from my Lord and asked me to pray in this blessed valley and to assume Ihram for Hajj and ʿUmra together. "
سَمِعْتُ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ بِوَادِي الْعَقِيقِ يَقُولُ أَتَانِي اللَّيْلَةَ آتٍ مِنْ رَبِّي فَقَالَ صَلِّ فِي هَذَا الْوَادِي الْمُبَارَكِ وَقُلْ عُمْرَةً فِي حَجَّةٍ
While the Prophet ﷺ was in Al-ʿAqiq he said, "Someone (meaning Gabriel) came to me from my Lord tonight (in my dream) and said, 'Offer the prayer in this blessed valley and say (I intend to perform) ʿUmra along with Hajj (together).' "
عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ اللَّيْلَةَ أَتَانِي آتٍ مِنْ رَبِّي وَهْوَ بِالْعَقِيقِ أَنْ صَلِّ فِي هَذَا الْوَادِي الْمُبَارَكِ وَقُلْ عُمْرَةٌ فِي حَجَّةٍ
The Prophet ﷺ said to me, "Someone came to me tonight from my Lord while I was in the 'Aqiq (valley), and said to me, "Offer prayer in this blessed valley and say: 'Labbaik' for the (performance of) ʿUmra and Hajj."
قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي النَّبِيُّ ﷺ قَالَ أَتَانِي اللَّيْلَةَ آتٍ مِنْ رَبِّي وَهْوَ بِالْعَقِيقِ أَنْ صَلِّ فِي هَذَا الْوَادِي الْمُبَارَكِ وَقُلْ عُمْرَةٌ وَحَجَّةٌ وَقَالَ هَارُونُ بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيٌّ عُمْرَةٌ فِي حَجَّةٍ
Umar bin Al Khattab heard the Apostle of Allaah ﷺ say Someone came to me at night from Allaah the Exalted. The narrator said When he was staying at ‘Aqiq said Pray in his blessed valley. Then he said ‘Umrah has been included in Hajj. Abu Dawud said Al Walid bin Musilm and ‘Umar bin Abd Al Wahid narrated in this version from Al Auza’I the words “And say An ‘Umrah included in Hajj”. Abu Dawud said Ali bin Al Mubarak has also narrated similarly from Yahya bin said Abi Kathir in this version “And say An ‘Umrah included in Hajj”.
أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ أَتَانِي اللَّيْلَةَ آتٍ مِنْ عِنْدِ رَبِّي ﷻ قَالَ وَهُوَ بِالْعَقِيقِ وَقَالَ صَلِّ فِي هَذَا الْوَادِي الْمُبَارَكِ وَقَالَ عُمْرَةٌ فِي حَجَّةٍ
I heard 'Umar bin al Khattab ؓ say: l heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say, when he was in al'Aqeeq: ʿLast night someone came to me from my Lord and said: Pray in this blessed valley and say, 'I intend to do 'umrah with Hajj.ʿ Al-Waleed said: i.e., in Dhul-Hulaifah.
سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ وَهُوَ بِالْعَقِيقِيَقُولُ أَتَانِي اللَّيْلَةَ آتٍ مِنْ رَبِّي فَقَالَ صَلِّ فِي هَذَا الْوَادِي الْمُبَارَكِ وَقُلْ عُمْرَةٌ فِي حَجَّةٍ قَالَ الْوَلِيدُ يَعْنِي ذَا الْحُلَيْفَةِ
I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say, when he was in ‘Aqiq: “Someone came to me from my Lord and said: ‘Pray in this blessed valley and say: (I intend to do) ‘Umrah in Hajj.’” (Using translation from Ibn Mājah 2976)
سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ وَهُوَ بِالْعَقِيقِ «أَتَانِي آتٍ مِنْ رَبِّي فَقَالَ صَلِّ فِي هَذَا الْوَادِي وَقَالَ عَمْرَةٌ فِي حَجَّةٍ»

حَدَّثَنِي رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ أَتَانِي اللَّيْلَةَ آتٍ مِنْ رَبِّي وَهُوَ بِالْعَقِيقِ أَنْ صَلِّ فِي هَذَا الْوَادِي الْمُبَارَكِ وَقَالَ عُمْرَةٌ فِي حَجَّةٍ
I heard 'Umar bin al Khattab ؓ say: l heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say, when he was in al'Aqeeq: ʿLast night someone came to me from my Lord and said: Pray in this blessed valley and say, 'I intend to do 'umrah with Hajj.ʿ Al-Waleed said: i.e., in Dhul-Hulaifah. (Using translation from Aḥmad 161)
"أتانى الليلة آتٍ من ربى فقال: صلِّ في هذا الوادى المبارك - يعنى العقيق - وقلْ: عمرةٌ في حجة ".
