The Messenger of Allah said: "Publicize this marriage, and hold it in the Masjid, and beat the Duff for it."

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ أَعْلِنُوا هَذَا النِّكَاحَ وَاجْعَلُوهُ فِي الْمَسَاجِدِ وَاضْرِبُوا عَلَيْهِ بِالدُّفُوفِ

قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى هَذَا حَدِيثٌ غَرِيبٌ حَسَنٌ فِي هَذَا الْبَابِ وَعِيسَى بْنُ مَيْمُونٍ الأَنْصَارِيُّ يُضَعَّفُ فِي الْحَدِيثِ وَعِيسَى بْنُ مَيْمُونٍ الَّذِي يَرْوِي عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي نَجِيحٍ التَّفْسِيرَ هُوَ ثِقَةٌ

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "Make marriage public and announce it openly. Celebrate it with the beating of drums." He said this, and it is said that he was Khalid ibn Elias, a weak narrator.

البيهقي:١٤٦٩٨ – وَأَمَّا الْحَدِيثُ الَّذِي أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو طَاهِرٍ الْفَقِيهُ نا أَبُو الْعَبَّاسِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ نا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ نا أَصْبَغُ نا عِيسَى بْنُ يُونُسَ نا خَالِدُ بْنُ إِلْيَاسَ عَنْ رَبِيعَةَ بْنِ أَبِي عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ عَنِ الْقَاسِمِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ ؓ قَالَتْ
