ذِكْرُ سُؤَالِ الْمُصْطَفَى ﷺ تَضْعِيفَ الْبَرَكَةِ فِي الْمَدِينَةِ

ibnhibban:3743Aḥmad b. ʿAlī b. al-Muthanná > Abū Khaythamah > Ibn ʿUlayyah > ʿAlī b. al-Mubārak > Yaḥyá b. Abū Kathīr > Abū Saʿīd a freed slave of al-Mahrī > Abū Saʿīd al-Khudrī

O Allah, bless us in our sa' and mud and shower with its blessings two other blessings (multiply blessings showerted upon it). (Using translation from Muslim 1374b)  

ابن حبّان:٣٧٤٣أَخْبَرَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عَلِيِّ بْنِ الْمُثَنَّى حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو خَيْثَمَةَ حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ عُلَيَّةَ عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ الْمُبَارَكِ أَخْبَرَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ أَبِي كَثِيرٍ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو سَعِيدٍ مَوْلَى الْمَهْرِيِّ عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيِّ

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ «اللَّهُمَّ بَارِكْ لَنَا فِي مُدِّنَا وَصَاعِنَا وَاجْعَلْ مَعَ الْبَرَكَةِ بَرَكَتَيْنِ»

[Machine] The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ said: "O Allah, bless us in our city, O Allah, bless us in our scales, and grant us two blessings with every blessing."

darimi:2617Abū Muḥammad al-Ḥanafī al-Madanī > Mālik > Isḥāq b. ʿAbdullāh b. Abū Ṭalḥah > Anas b. Mālik

Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "O Allah bestow your blessings on their measures, bless their Mudd and Sa." The Prophet ﷺ meant the people of Medina. (Using translation from Bukhārī 2130)
