43. Book of Impermissible and Permissible (3/7)
[Machine] The translation in English is: "The Prophet of Allah ﷺ said, 'No people who take a dog not meant for hunting, farming, or herding, as a pet, will have their rewards decreased by a Qirat every day.'"
[Machine] The Prophet ﷺ said, "If it were not that dogs form a community of nations, I would have commanded to kill them." Abdullah bin Al-Mughaffal said, "By Allah, the One who there is no god but Him, he informed me about this in this mosque and gestured towards the central mosque."
"Were it not that dogs form one of the communities (or nations - of creatures), I would have commanded that they be killed. But kill those that are all black. Any people who keep a dog, except for dogs used for farming, hunting or herding livestock, one Qirat will be deducted from their reward each day." (Using translation from Nasāʾī 4280)
[Machine] I heard the Prophet ﷺ saying, "If it were not that dogs are a community among the communities, I would have ordered their killing. But kill the jet black dog, as it is a devil."
43.6 [Machine] What is mentioned about resentment, jealousy, sneering, quarreling, and boycotting among Muslims?
Do not hate each other; do not envy each other; do not desert each other; and be the servants of Allah as brethren. It is not allowed for a Muslim to keep apart from his brother for more than three days. (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 4910)
[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "The doors of Paradise are opened every Monday and Thursday, and Allah forgives every servant who does not associate partners with Him, except for two people who have enmity between them. It is said, 'Wait for these two until they reconcile, wait for these two until they reconcile.'"
[Machine] "In a sale or a gift, Aisha gave it, and I swear by Allah, she said, 'Either Aisha will finish or I will stone her.' Aisha said when she heard that, 'Indeed, I have made a vow to Allah that I will never speak to Ibn Zubair.' So when Ibn Zubair pleaded with her during her prolonged migration to him, she said, 'By Allah, I will not intercede for him with anyone, nor will I break my vow that I made forever.' And when this continued for a long time with Ibn Zubair, Al-Miswar bin Makhrama and Abdul Rahman bin Al-Aswad bin Abdi Yaghuth, who were from the Banu Zuhrah tribe, spoke to him and said, 'We swear by Allah that we will not enter upon Aisha unless you allow us, as it is not permissible for her to make a vow regarding our relationship.' So Al-Miswar bin Makhrama and Abdul Rahman bin Al-Aswad went along with Abdullah bin Zubair, and they covered themselves with their cloaks until they sought permission to enter upon Aisha. And they said, 'Peace be upon the Messenger of Allah ﷺ . Can we come in, O Mother of the Believers?' Aisha said, 'Enter.' And they said, 'All of us?' She said, 'Yes, all of you.' And Aisha did not know that Ibn Zubair was with them. So when they entered, Ibn Zubair broke through the veil and entered upon Aisha and embraced her, and he began to beg her and cry. And Al-Miswar and Abdul Rahman also pleaded with Aisha and said to her, 'Indeed, the Messenger of Allah ﷺ forbade what you did, and it is not permissible for a Muslim to abandon his brother for more than three days.' When they persisted in reminding Aisha of this, she began to cry and remind them, and she said, 'I have made a vow, and the vow is severe.' And they continued with her until she spoke to Ibn Zubair, and then she released him from his vow. This involved the freeing of forty slaves. And even after she had released him from his vow, she continued to weep until her tears soaked her veil."

"The gates of Paradise are opened on Monday and Thursday. In them, (will enter) whoever has not associated anything with Allah will be forgiven, except for the two who shun each other, (about whom) it is said: 'Return these two until they make amends." (Using translation from Tirmidhī 2023)

[Machine] I heard the Messenger of Allahﷺ say: "It is not permissible for a Muslim to boycott another Muslim for more than three days. They both turn away from the truth while their swords are drawn against each other. The first of them starts with a sin, which becomes an expiation for him. And if one of them greets the other but the greeting is not accepted, the angels return the greeting to him and the devil returns it to the other. And if they both die while their swords are drawn against each other, they will not enter Paradise and will not be in the same place in Paradise."

it is not allowable for a Muslim to keep apart from his brother for more than three days. When they meet, this turns away from him, and that turns away from him. The better of the two is the one who initiates in salutation. (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 4911)

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ passed by me while I was sitting with my left hand behind my back, and I leaned back. The Prophet ﷺ said, "Are you sitting in the manner of those who are cursed?" Ibn Juraij said that he put his palms on the ground behind his back.
