ذِكْرُ مَا يَجِبُ عَلَى الْمَرْءِ مِنْ مُجَانَبَةِ التَّرَفُّعِ بِنَفْسِهِ فِي بَيْتِهِ عَنْ خِدْمَتِهِ، وَإِنْ كَانَ لَهُ مَنْ يَكْفِيهِ ذَلِكَ

ibnhibban:5677 – Abū Yaʿlá > ʿAbdullāh b. Muḥammad b. Asmāʾ > Mahdī b. Maymūn > Hishām b. ʿUrwah from his father > ʿĀʾishah

[Machine] She was asked what the Prophet ﷺ used to do in his house? She replied, "He used to sew his garment, repair his shoes, and perform tasks that men do in their homes."  

ابن حبّان:٥٦٧٧ – أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو يَعْلَى حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ أَسْمَاءَ حَدَّثَنَا مَهْدِيُّ بْنُ مَيْمُونٍ حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامُ بْنُ عُرْوَةَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ

أَنَّهَا سُئِلَتْ مَا كَانَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ يَعْمَلُ فِي بَيْتِهِ؟ قَالَتْ «كَانَ يَخِيطُ ثَوْبَهُ وَيَخْصِفُ نَعْلَهُ وَيَعْمَلُ مَا يَعْمَلُ الرِّجَالُ فِي بُيُوتِهِمْ»
