ذِكْرُ الْبَيَانِ بِأَنَّ مِنْ شِرَارِ النَّاسِ مَنِ اتُّقِيَ فُحْشُهُ

ibnhibban:5696 – Muḥammad b. al-Ḥasan b. al-Khalīl > Hishām b. ʿAmmār > Ḥātim b. Ismāʿīl > ʿAbd al-Raḥman b. Ḥarmalah > ʿAbdullāh b. Dīnār > ʿUrwah > ʿĀʾishah

[Machine] A man sought permission to greet the Messenger of Allah peace be upon him, and when he heard his voice, the Messenger of Allah peace be upon him said to Aisha, "What a terrible man or what a terrible son he is to his tribe." When he entered, the Messenger of Allah peace be upon him became relaxed towards him. When he left, Aisha expressed her opinion and said, "O Messenger of Allah, you said, 'What a terrible man or what a terrible son he is to his tribe.' But when he came in, you became relaxed towards him." The Messenger of Allah peace be upon him replied, "O Aisha, the worst among people are those who people avoid their obscenities."  

ابن حبّان:٥٦٩٦ – أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ الْخَلِيلِ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامُ بْنُ عَمَّارٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا حَاتِمُ بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ حَرْمَلَةَ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ دِينَارٍ عَنْ عُرْوَةَ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ

أَنَّ رَجُلًا اسْتَأْذَنَ عَلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ فَلَمَّا سَمِعَ صَوْتَهُ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ لِعَائِشَةَ «بِئْسَ الرَّجُلُ أَوْ بِئْسَ ابْنُ الْعَشِيرَةِ» فَلَمَّا دَخَلَ انْبَسَطَ إِلَيْهِ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ فَلَمَّا خَرَجَ كَلَّمَتْهُ عَائِشَةُ فَقَالَتْ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ قُلْتَ «بِئْسَ الرَّجُلُ أَوْ بِئْسَ ابْنُ الْعَشِيرَةِ» فَلَمَّا دَخَلَ انْبَسَطْتَ إِلَيْهِ فَقَالَ «يَا عَائِشَةُ شَرُّ النَّاسِ مَنْ يَتَّقِي النَّاسُ فُحْشَهُ»

A man asked permission to see the Prophet ﷺ, and the Prophet ﷺ said: He is a bad member of the tribe. When he entered, the Messenger of Allah ﷺ treated in a frank and friendly way and spoke to him. When he departed , I said: Messenger of Allah! When he asked permission, you said: He is a bad member of the tribe, but when he entered, you treated him in a frank and friendly way. The Messenger of Allah replied: Aisha! Allah does not like the one who is unseemly and lewd in his language.  

أبو داود:٤٧٩٢ – حَدَّثَنَا مُوسَى بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادٌ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ ؓ

أَنَّ رَجُلاً اسْتَأْذَنَ عَلَى النَّبِيِّ ﷺ فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ بِئْسَ أَخُو الْعَشِيرَةِ فَلَمَّا دَخَلَ انْبَسَطَ إِلَيْهِ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ وَكَلَّمَهُ فَلَمَّا خَرَجَ قُلْتُ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ لَمَّا اسْتَأْذَنَ قُلْتَ بِئْسَ أَخُو الْعَشِيرَةِ فَلَمَّا دَخَلَ انْبَسَطْتَ إِلَيْهِ فَقَالَ يَا عَائِشَةُ إِنَّ اللَّهَ لاَ يُحِبُّ الْفَاحِشَ الْمُتَفَحِّشَ  

ذِكْرُ الْإِبَاحَةِ لِلْإِمَامِ لُزُومَ الْمُدَارَاةِ مَعَ رَعِيَّتِهِ، وَإِنْ عَلِمَ مِنْ بَعْضِهِمْ ضِدَّ مَا يُوجِبُ الْحَقُّ مِنْ ذَلِكَ

Grant him permission. (and also added: ) He is a bad son of his tribe or he is a bad person of his tribe. When he came in he used kind words for him. 'A'isha reported that she said: Messenger of Allah, you said about him what you had to say and then you treated him with kindness. He said: A'isha, verily in the eye of Allah, worst amongst the person in rank on the Day of Resurrection is one whom the people abandon or desert out of the fear of indecency. ابن حبّان:٤٥٣٨ – أَخْبَرَنَا الْفَضْلُ بْنُ الْحُبَابِ الْجُمَحِيُّ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ الْمَدِينِيِّ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ ابْنَ الْمُنْكَدِرِ يَقُولُ حَدَّثَنِي عُرْوَةُ بْنُ الزُّبَيْرِ

أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ عَائِشَةَ تَقُولُ اسْتَأْذَنَ عَلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ رَجُلٌ فَقَالَ «ائْذَنِي لَهُ فَبِئْسَ ابْنُ الْعَشِيرَةِ أَوْ بِئْسَ رَجُلُ الْعَشِيرَةِ» فَلَمَّا دَخَلَ عَلَيْهِ أَلَانَ لَهُ الْقَوْلَ فَلَمَّا خَرَجَ قُلْتُ أَيْ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ قُلْتَ لَهُ الَّذِي قُلْتَ فَلَمَّا دَخَلَ أَلَنْتَ لَهُ الْقَوْلَ قَالَ ﷺ «أَيْ عَائِشَةُ إِنَّ شَرَّ النَّاسِ مَنْزِلَةً عِنْدَ اللَّهِ مَنْ تَرَكَهُ النَّاسُ أَوْ وَدَعَهُ النَّاسُ اتِّقَاءَ شَرِّهِ»
