[Machine] Juwairiyah bint al-Harith, the wife of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ , said, "Indeed, your wives boast about me and say that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ did not marry you out of choice, but rather as a captive. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ replied, 'Did I not ransom you? Did I not free forty of your people?' " Al-Dhahabi remained silent about this in his summary.  

الحاكم:٦٧٧٨ – أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو بَكْرٍ أَحْمَدُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ الْمَوْصِلِيُّ ثنا عَلِيُّ بْنُ حَرْبٍ الْمَوْصِلِيُّ ثنا سُفْيَانُ بْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي نَجِيحٍ عَنْ مُجَاهِدٍ قَالَ قَالَتْ

جُوَيْرِيَةُ بِنْتُ الْحَارِثِ لِرَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ إِنَّ أَزْوَاجَكَ يَفْخَرْنَ عَلَيَّ يَقُلْنَ لَمْ يَتَزَوَّجْكِ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ إِنَّمَا أَنْتِ مِلْكُ يَمِينٍ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ «أَلَمْ أُعَظِّمْ صَدَاقَكِ أَلَمْ أُعْتِقَ أَرْبَعِينَ رَقَبَةً مِنْ قَوْمِكِ» سكت عنه الذهبي في التلخيص

[Machine] Juwayriyah said to the Prophet, "Indeed, your wives boast about their lineage and say, 'The Messenger of Allah did not marry you.'" He replied, "Have I not elevated your status? Have I not freed forty of your people?"  

الطبراني:٢٠٦٢١ – حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّزَّاقِ عَنِ ابْنِ عُيَيْنَةَ عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي نَجِيحٍ عَنْ مُجَاهِدٍ قَالَ قَالَتْ

"عَنْ مُجَاهِدٍ قَالَ: قَالَتْ جُوَيرِيَةُ لِلنَّبِىِّ ﷺ : إِنَّ أَزْوَاجَكَ يَفْخَرْنَ عَلَىَّ وَيَقُلْنَ: لَمْ يَتَزَوَّجْكِ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ: أوَلَمْ أُعْظِمْ صَدَاقَكِ! أَلَمْ أُعْتِقْ أرْبَعِينَ مِنْ قَوْمِكِ! ".
