[Machine] The people saw the crescent, so I informed the Messenger of Allah ﷺ that I had seen it. "So the Messenger of Allah ﷺ fasted and ordered the people to fast." It is correct according to the condition of Muslim, and they did not dispute it.  

الحاكم:١٥٤١ – حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ صَالِحِ بْنِ هَانِئٍ ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ بْنِ مِهْرَانَ ثنا هَارُونُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ الْأَيْلِيُّ ثنا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ وَهْبٍ أَخْبَرَنِي يَحْيَى بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ سَالِمٍ عَنْ أَبِي بَكْرِ بْنِ نَافِعٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ قَالَ

تَرَاءَى النَّاسُ الْهِلَالَ فَأَخْبَرْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ أَنِّي رَأَيْتُهُ «فَصَامَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ وَأَمَرَ النَّاسَ بِالصِّيَامِ» صَحِيحٌ عَلَى شَرْطِ مُسْلِمٍ وَلَمْ يُخَرِّجَاهُ

أبو داود:٢٣٤٢ – حَدَّثَنَا مَحْمُودُ بْنُ خَالِدٍ وَعَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ السَّمَرْقَنْدِيُّ وَأَنَا لِحَدِيثِهِ أَتْقَنُ قَالاَ حَدَّثَنَا مَرْوَانُ هُوَ ابْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ وَهْبٍ عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ سَالِمٍ عَنْ أَبِي بَكْرِ بْنِ نَافِعٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ قَالَ

«تَرَاءَى النَّاسُ الْهِلَالَ فَأَخْبَرْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ أَنِّي رَأَيْتُهُ فَصَامَ وَأَمَرَ النَّاسَ بِالصِّيَامِ»  

ذِكْرُ الْخَبَرِ الْمُدْحِضِ قَوْلَ مَنْ زَعَمَ أَنَّ هَذَا الْخَبَرَ تَفَرَّدَ بِهِ سِمَاكُ بْنُ حَرْبٍ، وَأَنَّ رَفْعَهُ غَيْرُ مَحْفُوظٍ فِيمَا زَعَمَ
