The Prophet ﷺ said on the day (of the battle) of Badr, "This is Gabriel holding the head of his horse and equipped with arms for the battle.

البخاري:٣٩٩٥ – حَدَّثَنِي إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ مُوسَى أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ الْوَهَّابِ حَدَّثَنَا خَالِدٌ عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ ؓ

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ قَالَ يَوْمَ بَدْرٍ هَذَا جِبْرِيلُ آخِذٌ بِرَأْسِ فَرَسِهِ عَلَيْهِ أَدَاةُ الْحَرْبِ
