Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Allah says, 'If My slave intends to do a bad deed then (O Angels) do not write it unless he does it; if he does it, then write it as it is, but if he refrains from doing it for My Sake, then write it as a good deed (in his account). (On the other hand) if he intends to do a good deed, but does not do it, then write a good deed (in his account), and if he does it, then write it for him (in his account) as ten good deeds up to seven-hundred times.' "

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ يَقُولُ اللَّهُ إِذَا أَرَادَ عَبْدِي أَنْ يَعْمَلَ سَيِّئَةً فَلاَ تَكْتُبُوهَا عَلَيْهِ حَتَّى يَعْمَلَهَا فَإِنْ عَمِلَهَا فَاكْتُبُوهَا بِمِثْلِهَا وَإِنْ تَرَكَهَا مِنْ أَجْلِي فَاكْتُبُوهَا لَهُ حَسَنَةً وَإِذَا أَرَادَ أَنْ يَعْمَلَ حَسَنَةً فَلَمْ يَعْمَلْهَا فَاكْتُبُوهَا لَهُ حَسَنَةً فَإِنْ عَمِلَهَا فَاكْتُبُوهَا لَهُ بِعَشْرِ أَمْثَالِهَا إِلَى سَبْعِمِائَةٍ

The Great and the Glorious Lord said (to angels): Whenever My bondsman intends to corn it an evil, do not record it against him, but if he actually commits it, then write it as one evil. And when he intends to do good but does not do it, then take it down is one act of goodness, but if he does it, then write down ten good deeds (in his record).

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ اللَّهُ ﷻ إِذَا هَمَّ عَبْدِي بِسَيِّئَةٍ فَلاَ تَكْتُبُوهَا عَلَيْهِ فَإِنْ عَمِلَهَا فَاكْتُبُوهَا سَيِّئَةً وَإِذَا هَمَّ بِحَسَنَةٍ فَلَمْ يَعْمَلْهَا فَاكْتُبُوهَا حَسَنَةً فَإِنْ عَمِلَهَا فَاكْتُبُوهَا عَشْرًا

Allah, the Great and Glorious, said: Whenever my bondsman intends to do good, but does not do it, I write one good act for him, but if he puts it into practice I wrote from ten to seven hundred good deeds in favour of him. When he intends to commit an evil, but does not actually do it, do not record it. But if he does it, I write only one evil.

عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ قَالَ اللَّهُ ﷻ إِذَا هَمَّ عَبْدِي بِحَسَنَةٍ وَلَمْ يَعْمَلْهَا كَتَبْتُهَا لَهُ حَسَنَةً فَإِنْ عَمِلَهَا كَتَبْتُهَا عَشْرَ حَسَنَاتٍ إِلَى سَبْعِمِائَةِ ضِعْفٍ وَإِذَا هَمَّ بِسَيِّئَةٍ وَلَمْ يَعْمَلْهَا لَمْ أَكْتُبْهَا عَلَيْهِ فَإِنْ عَمِلَهَا كَتَبْتُهَا سَيِّئَةً وَاحِدَةً

that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "Allah, Blessed and Most High, has said - and His saying is the Truth: 'When My slave considers doing something good then write it as one good for him. If he acts upon it then write ten of the same for him. And when he considers doing something evil, then do not write it. If he acts upon it, then write it. If he leaves it" - and perhaps he said: "if he does not act upon it, then write a good reward for him.'" Then he [the Prophet ﷺ] recited: Whoever comes with a good, then he shall have ten the like thereof (6:160).

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ قَالَ اللَّهُ ﷻ وَقَوْلُهُ الْحَقُّ إِذَا هَمَّ عَبْدِي بِحَسَنَةٍ فَاكْتُبُوهَا لَهُ حَسَنَةً فَإِنْ عَمِلَهَا فَاكْتُبُوهَا لَهُ بِعَشْرِ أَمْثَالِهَا وَإِذَا هَمَّ بِسَيِّئَةٍ فَلاَ تَكْتُبُوهَا فَإِنْ عَمِلَهَا فَاكْتُبُوهَا بِمِثْلِهَا فَإِنْ تَرَكَهَا وَرُبَّمَا قَالَ لَمْ يَعْمَلْ بِهَا فَاكْتُبُوهَا لَهُ حَسَنَةً ثُمَّ قَرَأَ ( مَنْ جَاءَ بِالْحَسَنَةِ فَلَهُ عَشْرُ أَمْثَالِهَا )

[Machine] From the Prophet ﷺ who said: Allah says, "If My servant intends to do a good deed, but does not do it, then write it as one good deed. If he actually does it, then write it as ten good deeds. If he intends to do a bad deed, but does not do it, then do not write it. If he actually does it, then write it as one bad deed."

[Machine] On the authority of the Prophet ﷺ who said: "Whoever intends to do a good deed but does not do it, a good deed is recorded for him. And if he does it, then ten good deeds are recorded for him. And whoever intends to do an evil deed but does not do it, no evil deed is recorded for him. And if he does it, then only one evil deed is recorded for him."

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ مَنْ هَمَّ بِحَسَنَةٍ فَلَمْ يَعْمَلْهَا كُتِبَتْ لَهُ حَسَنَةً فَإِنْ عَمِلَهَا كُتِبَتْ لَهُ عَشْرَ حَسَنَاتٍ وَمَنْ هَمَّ بِسَيِّئَةٍ فَلَمْ يَعْمَلْهَا لَمْ تُكْتَبْ عَلَيْهِ فَإِنْ عَمِلَهَا كُتِبَتْ عَلَيْهِ سَيِّئَةً وَاحِدَةً

[Machine] The Prophet (pbuh) said: "Allah, the Most Blessed and Exalted, says: 'When My servant intends to do a good deed, record it as one good deed. If he actually does it, record it for him as ten good deeds. If he intends to do a bad deed but does not do it, record it as one good deed.'"

النَّبِيَّ ﷺ قَالَ «قَالَ اللَّهُ تَبَارَكَ وَتَعَالَى إِذَا هَمَّ عَبْدِي بِحَسَنَةٍ فَاكْتُبُوهَا حَسَنَةً فَإِذَا عَمِلَهَا فَاكْتُبُوهَا بِعَشْرِ أَمْثَالِهَا وَإِذَا هَمَّ عَبْدِي بِسَيِّئَةٍ فَلَا تَكْتُبُوهَا بِمِثْلِهَا فَإِنْ تَرَكَهَا فَاكْتُبُوهَا حَسَنَةً»

[Machine] On the authority of Allah's Messenger ﷺ , who said, "When my servant intends to commit a bad deed but does not act upon it, then write it down as a good deed for him. And if he acts upon it, then write it down as a bad deed for him. But if he regrets it and seeks forgiveness, then erase it from him. And when my servant intends to do a good deed but does not do it, then write it down as a good deed for him. And if he does it, then write it down for him with ten times its reward up to seven hundred times."

عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ عَنِ اللَّهِ جَلَّ وَعَلَا قَالَ «إِذَا هَمَّ عَبْدِي بِسَيِّئَةٍ فَلَمْ يَعْمَلْهَا فَاكْتُبُوهَا لَهُ حَسَنَةً فَإِنْ عَمِلَهَا فَاكْتُبُوهَا لَهُ سَيِّئَةً فَإِنْ تَابَ مِنْهَا فَامْحُوهَا عَنْهُ وَإِذَا هَمَّ عَبْدِي بِحَسَنَةٍ فَلَمْ يَعْمَلْهَا فَاكْتُبُوهَا لَهُ حَسَنَةً فَإِنْ عَمِلَهَا فَاكْتُبُوهَا لَهُ بِعَشْرَةِ أَمْثَالِهَا إِلَى سَبْعِ مِائَةِ ضِعْفٍ»

[Machine] The Prophet ﷺ said, "Indeed, Allah said, 'When My servant intends to engage in an evil action, do not record it against him until he actually commits it. If he commits it, then record it as it is. If he refrains from it for My sake, then record it as a good deed. If he intends to perform a good deed, then record it as a good deed for him. And if he actually performs it, then record it as ten times its like, up to seven hundred times.'"

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ «إِنَّ اللَّهَ قَالَ إِذَا أَرَادَ عَبْدِي أَنْ يَعْمَلَ سَيِّئَةً فَلَا تَكْتُبُوهَا عَلَيْهِ حَتَّى يَعْمَلْهَا فَإِنْ عَمِلَهَا فَاكْتُبُوهَا مِثْلَهَا فَإِنْ تَرَكَهَا مِنْ أَجْلِي فَاكْتُبُوهَا حَسَنَةً فَإِنْ أَرَادَ أَنْ يَعْمَلَ حَسَنَةً فَاكْتُبُوهَا لَهُ حَسَنَةً فَإِنْ عَمِلَهَا فَاكْتُبُوهَا لَهُ عَشْرَةَ أَمْثَالِهَا إِلَى سَبْعِ مِائَةِ ضِعْفٍ»

[Machine] Narrated Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him): The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "When My slave intends to do a good deed but does not do it, I write it as a complete good deed for him. And if he intends to do a good deed and does it, I write it for him as ten good deeds. If he intends to do an evil deed but does not do it, I write it as a complete good deed for him. And if he intends to do an evil deed and does it, I write it as one evil deed."

حَدَّثَنَا الْقَعْنَبِيُّ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْعَزِيزِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنِ الْعَلَاءِ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ عنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ «قَالَ اللَّهُ تَبَارَكَ وَتَعَالَى إِذَا هَمَّ عَبْدِي بِالْحَسَنَةِ فَلَمْ يَعْمَلْهَا كَتَبْتُهَا لَهُ حَسَنَةً فَإِنْ عَمِلَهَا كَتَبْتُهَا لَهُ عَشْرَ حَسَنَاتٍ وَإِنْ هَمَّ عَبْدِي بِسَيِّئَةٍ وَلَمْ يَعْمَلْهَا لَمْ أَكْتُبْهَا عَلَيْهِ فَإِنْ عَمِلَهَا كَتَبْتُهَا وَاحِدَةً»

[Machine] On the authority of Allah, the Most High, the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Whoever intends to do a good deed but does not carry it out, Allah will write it down as one complete good deed. If they carry out the intended good deed, Allah will write it down as ten to seven hundred times its reward. [Machine] From the Messenger of Allah, ﷺ , regarding what he narrates from his Lord, Blessed and Exalted, "Indeed, your Lord is merciful. Whoever intends to do a good deed but does not do it, a good deed will be written for him. And if he does it, ten good deeds to seven hundred times or even more will be written for him. And whoever intends to commit an evil deed but does not do it, a good deed will be written for him. And if he does it, only one will be written for him, or Allah may erase it. And no one is destroyed by Allah except the wicked."

عَنْ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ فِيمَا يَرْوِي عَنْ رَبِّهِ تَبَارَكَ وَتَعَالَى «إِنَّ رَبِّكُمْ رَحِيمٌ مَنْ هُمَّ بِحَسَنَةٍ فَلَمْ يَعْمَلْهَا كُتِبَتْ لَهُ حَسَنَةً فَإِنْ عَمِلَهَا كُتِبَتْ لَهُ عَشْرًا إِلَى سَبْعِمَائَةٍ إِلَى أَضْعَافٍ كَثِيرَةٍ وَمَنْ هُمَّ بِسَيِّئَةٍ وَلَمْ يَعْمَلْهَا كُتِبَتْ لَهُ حَسَنَةً فَإِنْ عَمِلَهَا كُتِبَتْ وَاحِدَةً أَوْ يَمْحَاهَا اللهُ وَلَا يَهْلِكُ عَلَى اللهِ إِلَّا هَالِكٌ»

[Machine] On the authority of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ regarding what he narrates from his Lord, the Exalted and Glorious, that "Verily, your Lord is Most Merciful. Whoever intends to do a good deed but does not do it, a good deed will be recorded for him. And if he does it, ten to seven hundred times will be recorded for him. And whoever intends to commit an evil deed but does not do it, a good deed will be recorded for him. And if he commits it, only one evil deed will be recorded for him, or Allah will remove it. And no one punishes with death except the All-Destroyer (Allah)."

عَنْ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ فِيمَا يَرْوِيهِ عَنْ رَبِهِ تَبَارَكَ وَتَعَالَى «إِنَّ رَبَّكُمْ رَحِيمٌ مَنْ هَمَّ بِحَسَنَةٍ فَلَمْ يَعْمَلْهَا كُتِبَتْ لَهُ حَسَنَةً فَإِنْ عَمِلَهَا كُتِبَتْ لَهُ عَشْرًا إِلَى سَبْعمِائَةٍ إِلَى أَضْعَافٍ كَثِيرَةٍ وَمَنْ هَمَّ بِسَيِّئَةٍ وَلَمْ يَعْمَلْهَا كُتِبَتْ لَهُ حَسَنَةً فَإِنْ عَمَلَهَا كُتِبَتْ وَاحِدَةً أَوْ يَمْحَاهَا اللهُ وَلَا يَهْلِكُ عَلَى اللهِ إِلَّا هَالِكٌ»

اللَّهُ عَلَيه وَسَلَّم قَالَ مَنْ هَمَّ بِحَسَنَةٍ فَلَمْ يَعْمَلْهَا كُتِبَتْ لَهُ حَسَنَةٌ وَمَنْ هَمَّ بِسَيِّئَةٍ فَلَمْ يَعْمَلْهَا لَمْ تُكْتَبْ عَلَيْهِ فَإِنْ عَمِلَهَا كُتِبَتْ سيئة

"قَال اللهُ ﷻ: إِذَا هَمَّ عَبْدِي بِسَيِّئَةٍ فَلْم يَعْمَلْهَا, فَاكْتُبُوهَا لَهُ حَسَنَةً، فَإِنّ عَمِلَهَا، فَاكْتُبَوهَا لَهُ سَيِّئَةً، فَإِنْ تَابَ مِنْهَا فَامْحُوهَا عَنْهُ، وَإنْ هَمَّ عَبْدِي بحَسَنَةٍ فَلَمْ يَعْمَلْهَا فَاكْتُبُوهَا لَهُ حَسَنَةً، فَإِنْ عَمِلَهَا فَاكْتُبُوهَا لَهُ بِعَشْرَةِ أَمْثَالهَا إِلَي سَبْعِمائةِ ضِعْفٍ".

"قَال الله": إذا همَّ عبدي بَحَسنة وَلَم يَعمَلها كَتَبْتها لهُ حسنةً، فإِن عَمِلَها كَتبْتُها عَشْرَ حَسَنَاتٍ إِلَى سَبْعِمَائَةِ ضِعْفٍ، وإذَا همَّ بسيئةٍ وَلَم يعمَلها لَمْ أكتبها عَلَيهِ، فَإِنْ عملها كَتَبْتها سيَئةً وَاحِدَةً".
