that Anas bin Malik said: "Four gathered the Qur'an during the time of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, all of them are from the Ansar: Ubayy bin Ka'b, Mu'adh bin Jabal, Zaid bin Thabit, and Abu Zaid." I said to Anas: "Who is Abu Zaid?" He said: "One of my uncles."
I said to Anas b. Malik: Who collected the Qur'an during the lifetime of Messenger of Allah ﷺ? He said: Four (persons), all of them belonging to Ansir: Ubayy b. Ka'b, Mu'adh b. Jabal, Zaid b. Thabit and a person from the Ansar whose Kunya was Abu Zaid. (Using translation from Muslim 2465b)

Four persons collected the Qur'an during the lifetime of Messenger of Allah ﷺ and all of them were Ansar: Mu'adh b. Jabal, Ubayy b. Ka'b, Zaid b. Thabit, Abu Zaid. Qatada said: Anas, who was Abu Zaid? He said: He was one of my uncles. (Using translation from Muslim 2465a)
[Machine] I heard Anas saying that the collection of the Quran during the time of the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ was done by four individuals: Ubay ibn Ka'b, Muadh ibn Jabal, Zaid ibn Thabit, and Abu Zaid. I asked Anas, "Who is Abu Zaid?" He replied, "One of my relatives."
