سَعْدُ بْنُ عُبَيْدِ بْنِ النُّعْمَانِ الْأَنْصَارِيُّ الْقَارِئُ بَدْرِيٌّ

[Machine] Six of the Prophet's companions, all of them from the Ansar (the inhabitants of Madinah who supported and assisted the Prophet), collected the Quran. They are Ubayy ibn Ka'b, Mu'adh ibn Jabal, Zaid ibn Thabit, Abu Zaid, and Sa'd ibn Ubayd.  

الطبراني:٥٤٩٢ – حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ ثنا عُثْمَانُ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ ثنا هُشَيْمٌ عَنْ دَاوُدَ بْنِ أَبِي هِنْدٍ وَإِسْمَاعِيلَ بْنِ أَبِي خَالِدٍ وَزَكَرِيَّا بْنِ أَبِي زَائِدَةَ قَالَ

جَمَعَ الْقُرْآنَ سِتَّةٌ مِنْ أَصْحَابِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ كُلُّهُمْ مِنَ الْأَنْصَارِ أُبَيُّ بْنُ كَعْبٍ وَمُعَاذُ بْنُ جَبَلٍ وَزَيْدُ بْنُ ثَابِتٍ وَأَبُو زَيْدٍ وَسَعْدُ بْنُ عُبَيْدٍ

Anas said, "The Qur'an was collected in the lifetime of the Prophet ﷺ by four (men), all of whom were from the Ansar: Ubai, Muʿadh bin Jabal, Abu Zaid and Zaid bin Thabit." I asked Anas, "Who is Abu Zaid?" He said, "One of my uncles."

bukhari:5003 – Ḥafṣ b. ʿUmar > Hammām > Qatādah > Saʾalt

I asked Anas bin Malik: "Who collected the Qur'an at the time of the Prophet ﷺ ?" He replied, "Four, all of whom were from the Ansar: Ubai bin Kaʿb, Muʿadh bin Jabal, Zaid bin Thabit and Abu Zaid."  

البخاري:٥٠٠٣ – حَدَّثَنَا حَفْصُ بْنُ عُمَرَ حَدَّثَنَا هَمَّامٌ حَدَّثَنَا قَتَادَةُ قَالَ

سَأَلْتُ أَنَسَ بْنَ مَالِكٍ ؓ مَنْ جَمَعَ الْقُرْآنَ عَلَى عَهْدِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ أَرْبَعَةٌ كُلُّهُمْ مِنَ الأَنْصَارِ أُبَىُّ بْنُ كَعْبٍ وَمُعَاذُ بْنُ جَبَلٍ وَزَيْدُ بْنُ ثَابِتٍ وَأَبُو زَيْدٍ  

تَابَعَهُ الْفَضْلُ عَنْ حُسَيْنِ بْنِ وَاقِدٍ عَنْ ثُمَامَةَ عَنْ أَنَسٍ
muslim:2465b – Abū Dāwud Sulaymān b. Maʿbad > ʿAmr b. ʿĀṣim > Hammām > Qatādah

I said to Anas b. Malik: Who collected the Qur'an during the lifetime of Messenger of Allah ﷺ? He said: Four (persons), all of them belonging to Ansir: Ubayy b. Ka'b, Mu'adh b. Jabal, Zaid b. Thabit and a person from the Ansar whose Kunya was Abu Zaid.  

مسلم:٢٤٦٥b – حَدَّثَنِي أَبُو دَاوُدَ سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ مَعْبَدٍ حَدَّثَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ عَاصِمٍ حَدَّثَنَا هَمَّامٌ حَدَّثَنَا قَتَادَةُ قَالَ

قُلْتُ لأَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ مَنْ جَمَعَ الْقُرْآنَ عَلَى عَهْدِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ أَرْبَعَةٌ كُلُّهُمْ مِنَ الأَنْصَارِ أُبَىُّ بْنُ كَعْبٍ وَمُعَاذُ بْنُ جَبَلٍ وَزَيْدُ بْنُ ثَابِتٍ وَرَجُلٌ مِنَ الأَنْصَارِ يُكْنَى أَبَا زَيْدٍ  

tirmidhi:3794 – Muḥammad b. Bashhār > Yaḥyá b. Saʿīd > Shuʿbah > Qatādah > Anas b. Mālik

that Anas bin Malik said: "Four gathered the Qur'an during the time of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, all of them are from the Ansar: Ubayy bin Ka'b, Mu'adh bin Jabal, Zaid bin Thabit, and Abu Zaid." I said to Anas: "Who is Abu Zaid?" He said: "One of my uncles."  

Abū ʿĪsá said that this Ḥadīth is Ḥasan-Ṣaḥīḥ.

قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ صَحِيحٌ

جَمَعَ الْقُرْآنَ عَلَى عَهْدِ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ أَرْبَعَةُ نَفَرٍ كُلُّهُمْ مِنَ الْأَنْصَارِ أُبَيُّ بْنُ كَعْبٍ وَمُعَاذُ بْنُ جَبَلٍ وَزَيْدُ بْنُ ثَابِتٍ وَأَبُو زَيْدٍ

that Anas bin Malik said: "Four gathered the Qur'an during the time of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, all of them are from the Ansar: Ubayy bin Ka'b, Mu'adh bin Jabal, Zaid bin Thabit, and Abu Zaid."
