The Prophet ﷺ came to Saad b. Ubadah, who brought bread and oil, and he ate. Then the Prophet ﷺ said:

"afṭara ʿindakumu al-ṣāʾimūn, wa-akala ṭaʿāmakumu al-abrār, wa-ṣallat ʿalaykumu al-malāʾikah"

(May those who fast break their fast with you, may the righteous eat your food, and may the angels make dua for you.)

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ جَاءَ إِلَى سَعْدِ بْنِ عُبَادَةَ فَجَاءَ بِخُبْزٍ وَزَيْتٍ فَأَكَلَ ثُمَّ قَالَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ:

«أَفْطَرَ عِنْدَكُمُ الصَّائِمُونَ وَأَكَلَ طَعَامَكُمُ الأَبْرَارُ وَصَلَّتْ عَلَيْكُمُ الْمَلاَئِكَةُ».

“The Messenger of Allah ﷺ broke his fast with Sa’d bin Mu’adh and said: ‘Aftara ‘indakumus-saimun, wa akala ta’amakumul-abrar, wa sallat ‘alaikumul- mala’ikah (May fasting people break their fast with you, may the righteous eat your food, and may the angels send blessing upon you).”

أَفْطَرَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ عِنْدَ سَعْدِ بْنِ مُعَاذٍ فَقَالَ أَفْطَرَ عِنْدَكُمُ الصَّائِمُونَ وَأَكَلَ طَعَامَكُمُ الأَبْرَارُ وَصَلَّتْ عَلَيْكُمُ الْمَلاَئِكَةُ

[AI] "When the Prophet ﷺ used to break his fast with the people, he would say, 'The fasting ones among you have broken their fast, and the righteous have eaten your food, and the angels have descended upon you.'"

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ كَانَ إِذَا أَفْطَرَ عِنْدَ النَّاسِ قَالَ «أَفْطَرَ عِنْدَكُمُ الصَّائِمُونَ وَأَكَلَ طَعَامَكُمُ الْأَبْرَارُ وَتَنَزَّلَتْ عَلَيْكُمُ الْمَلَائِكَةُ»

[AI] When the Prophet ﷺ would break his fast at someone's house, he would say, "The fasting people have broken their fast with you, and the righteous have eaten your food, and the angels have descended upon you."

كَانَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ إِذَا أَفْطَرَ عِنْدَ أَهْلِ بَيْتٍ قَالَ أَفْطَرَ عِنْدَكُمُ الصَّائِمُونَ وَأَكَلَ طَعَامَكُمُ الْأَبْرَارُ وَتَنَزَّلَتْ عَلَيْكُمُ الْمَلَائِكَةُ

[AI] The Prophet ﷺ used to say when breaking his fast with people, "The fasting people have broken their fast with you, and the righteous ones have eaten your food, and the angels have descended upon you."

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ كَانَ إِذَا أَفْطَرَ عِنْدَ نَاسٍ قَالَ أَفْطَرَ عِنْدَكُمُ الصَّائِمُونَ وَأَكَلَ طَعَامَكُمُ الْأَبْرَارُ وَتَنَزَّلَتْ عَلَيْكُمُ الْمَلَائِكَةُ

“The Messenger of Allah ﷺ broke his fast with Sa’d bin Mu’adh and said: ‘Aftara ‘indakumus-saimun, wa akala ta’amakumul-abrar, wa sallat ‘alaikumul- mala’ikah (May fasting people break their fast with you, may the righteous eat your food, and may the angels send blessing upon you).” (Using translation from Ibn Mājah 1747)

[AI] "The Prophet ﷺ used to say, when he broke his fast with a people, 'May the fasting people break their fast among you and may the angels send blessings upon you.'"

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ كَانَ إِذَا أَفْطَرَ عِنْدَ قَوْمٍ قَالَ «أَفْطَرَ عِنْدَكُمُ الصَّائِمُونَ وَصَلَّتْ عَلَيْكُمُ الْمَلَائِكَةُ»

كَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ إِذَا أَفْطَرَ عِنْدَ أَهْلِ بَيْتٍ قَالَ «أَفْطَرَ عِنْدَكُمُ الصَّائِمُونَ وَأَكَلَ طَعَامَكُمُ الْأَبْرَارُ وَتَنَزَّلَتْ عَلَيْكُمُ الْمَلَائِكَةُ»

[AI] The Prophet of Allah, ﷺ , used to say when he broke his fast with a family, "The fasting people have broken their fast with you, and the righteous ones have eaten your food, and the angels have sent their blessings upon you." Abu Abdullah Al-Rahman Ibn Abi Kathir said, "I did not hear this from Anas."

أَنَّ نَبِيَّ اللهِ ﷺ كَانَ إِذَا أَفْطَرَ عِنْدَ أَهْلِ بَيْتٍ قَالَ «أَفْطَرَ عِنْدَكُمُ الصَّائِمُونَ وَأَكَلَ طَعَامَكُمُ الْأَبْرَارُ وَصَلَّتْ عَلَيْكُمُ الْمَلَائِكَةُ» قَالَ أَبُو عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ يَحْيَى بْنُ أَبِي كَثِيرٍ لَمْ يَسْمَعْهُ مِنْ أَنَسٍ

[AI] "That the Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to say, when he broke his fast at someone's house: 'May the fasting people break their fast with you and the righteous eat your food.'"

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ كَانَ إِذَا أَفْطَرَ عِنْدَ أَهْلِ بَيْتٍ قَالَ «أَفْطَرَ عِنْدَكُمُ الصَّائِمُونَ وَأَكَلَ طَعَامَكُمُ الْأَبْرَارُ»

[AI] The Messenger of Allah, ﷺ , used to say to people when he broke his fast with them: "The fasting people have broken their fast with you, and the righteous have eaten your food, and the angels have descended upon you." This is the narration of Yazid and it is a mursal hadith that Yahya did not hear from Anas. He only heard it from a man from Basrah named 'Amr ibn Zunayb or ibn Zabib, who heard it from Anas.

كَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ إِذَا أَفْطَرَ عِنْدَ قَوْمٍ قَالَ لَهُمْ أَفْطَرَ عِنْدَكُمُ الصَّائِمُونَ وَأَكَلَ طَعَامَكُمُ الْأَبْرَارُ وَتَنَزَّلَتْ عَلَيْكُمُ الْمَلَائِكَةُ لَفْظُ حَدِيثِ يَزِيدَ وَهَذَا مُرْسَلٌ لَمْ يَسْمَعْهُ يَحْيَى عَنْ أَنَسٍ إِنَّمَا سَمِعَهُ عَنْ رَجُلٍ مِنْ أَهْلِ الْبَصْرَةِ يُقَالُ لَهُ عَمْرُو بْنُ زُنَيْبٍ وَيُقَالُ ابْنُ زَبِيبٍ عَنْ أَنَسٍ

“The Messenger of Allah ﷺ broke his fast with Sa’d bin Mu’adh and said: ‘Aftara ‘indakumus-saimun, wa akala ta’amakumul-abrar, wa sallat ‘alaikumul- mala’ikah (May fasting people break their fast with you, may the righteous eat your food, and may the angels send blessing upon you).” (Using translation from Ibn Mājah 1747)

"أفْطَرَ عندكم الصائمونَ، وأَكَلَ طعامَكم الأبرارُ، وصلَّتْ عليكم الملائكة" .

"أكلَ طعامَكم الأبرارُ وصلَّت عليكم الملائكةُ وأفْطَرَ عندكم الصائمونَ".

حم، والدارمي، د، ن، هـ، حل، ق عن أنس ؓ (أن النبي ﷺ جاء

"عَنْ أنَسٍ قَالَ: كَانَ رَسُولُ الله ﷺ إِذَا أفْطَرَ عِنْدَ قَوْمٍ قَالَ: أفْطَرَ عِنْدَكُمُ الصَّائِمُونَ، وَأَكَلَ طَعَامَكُمُ الأبْرَارُ، وَتَنَزَّلتْ عَلَيْكُمُ المَلاَئِكَةُ".
