Bani An-Nadir and Bani Quraiza fought (against the Prophet ﷺ violating their peace treaty), so the Prophet exiled Bani An-Nadir and allowed Bani Quraiza to remain at their places (in Medina) taking nothing from them till they fought against the Prophet ﷺ again) . He then killed their men and distributed their women, children and property among the Muslims, but some of them came to the Prophet ﷺ and he granted them safety, and they embraced Islam. He exiled all the Jews from Medina. They were the Jews of Bani Qainuqa', the tribe of ʿAbdullah bin Salam and the Jews of Bani Haritha and all the other Jews of Medina.

حَارَبَتِ النَّضِيرُ وَقُرَيْظَةُ فَأَجْلَى بَنِي النَّضِيرِ وَأَقَرَّ قُرَيْظَةَ وَمَنَّ عَلَيْهِمْ حَتَّى حَارَبَتْ قُرَيْظَةُ فَقَتَلَ رِجَالَهُمْ وَقَسَمَ نِسَاءَهُمْ وَأَوْلاَدَهُمْ وَأَمْوَالَهُمْ بَيْنَ الْمُسْلِمِينَ إِلاَّ بَعْضَهُمْ لَحِقُوا بِالنَّبِيِّ ﷺ فَآمَنَهُمْ وَأَسْلَمُوا وَأَجْلَى يَهُودَ الْمَدِينَةِ كُلَّهُمْ بَنِي قَيْنُقَاعَ وَهُمْ رَهْطُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ سَلاَمٍ وَيَهُودَ بَنِي حَارِثَةَ وَكُلَّ يَهُودِ الْمَدِينَةِ

It has been narrated on the authority of Ibn Umar that the Jews of Banu Nadir and Banu Quraiza fought against the Messenger of Allah ﷺ who expelled Banu Nadir, and allowed Quraiza to stay on, and granted favour to them until they too fought against him Then he killed their men, and distributed their women, children and properties among the Muslims, except that some of them had joined the Messenger of Allah ﷺ who granted them security. They embraced Islam. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ turned out all the Jews of Medina. Banu Qainuqa' (the tribe of 'Abdullah b. Salim) and the Jews of Banu Haritha and every other Jew who was in Medina.

عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ أَنَّالله عليه وسلم فَأَجْلَى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ بَنِي النَّضِيرِ وَأَقَرَّ قُرَيْظَةَ وَمَنَّ عَلَيْهِمْ حَتَّى حَارَبَتْ قُرَيْظَةُ بَعْدَ ذَلِكَ فَقَتَلَ رِجَالَهُمْ وَقَسَمَ نِسَاءَهُمْ وَأَوْلاَدَهُمْ وَأَمْوَالَهُمْ بَيْنَ الْمُسْلِمِينَ إِلاَّ أَنَّ بَعْضَهُمْ لَحِقُوا بِرَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ فَآمَنَهُمْ وَأَسْلَمُوا وَأَجْلَى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ يَهُودَ الْمَدِينَةِ كُلَّهُمْ بَنِي قَيْنُقَاعَ وَهُمْ قَوْمُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ سَلاَمٍ وَيَهُودَ بَنِي حَارِثَةَ وَكُلَّ يَهُودِيٍّ كَانَ بِالْمَدِينَةِ

Ibn ‘Umar said “The Jews Al Nadir and Quraizah fought with the Apostle of Allaah ﷺ, so the Apostle of Allaah ﷺ expelled Banu Al Nadir and allowed the Quraizah to stay and favored them. The Quraizah thereafter fought (with the Prophet).” So he killed their men and divided their women, property and children among Muslims except some of them who associated with the Apostle of Allaah ﷺ. He gave them protection and later on they embraced Islam. The Apostle of Allaah ﷺ expelled all the Jews of Madeenah in Toto, Banu Qainuqa, they were the people of ‘Abd Allaah bin Salam, the Jews of Banu Harith and any of Jews who resided in Madeenah.

[AI] The Jews of Banu Nadir and Quraiza fought against the Messenger of Allah ﷺ , so the Messenger of Allah ﷺ expelled Banu Nadir and took a pledge from Quraiza and those with them. Quraiza continued to fight after that, so their men were killed and their women, children, and wealth were divided among the Muslims, except for some who joined the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and were granted safety and embraced Islam. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ also expelled the Jews of Medina, Banu Qaynuqa, who were the people of Abdullah Ibn Salam, and the Jews of Banu Haritha, as well as all the Jews in Medina.

[AI] The people of Banu Nadir and Quraiza fought against the Messenger of Allah ﷺ , so he expelled Banu Nadir and laid siege to Quraiza until they fought against him later. So he killed their men and divided their women, wealth, and children among the Muslims, except for some who joined the Messenger of Allah ﷺ , so he granted them safety and they embraced Islam. The Hadith mentioning this incident was narrated in Sahih from the Hadith of Abd al-Razzaq.

[AI] The Jewish tribes of Nadir and Quraizah fought against the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, so the Messenger of Allah ﷺ expelled the tribe of Nadir and made a peace treaty with Quraizah. He also granted them protection until Quraizah later fought against him, so he killed their men and divided their women, wealth, and children among the Muslims, except for some who joined the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, so he granted them safety and they embraced Islam. This hadith is mentioned in Sahih, as previously mentioned. Al-Shafi'i, may Allah have mercy on him, said: Similarly, if a man from them violates the treaty and fights, then it is permissible for the Imam to fight against his group. This was supported by the incident of Khuzayah, who were in a pact with the Prophet ﷺ. Three men from Quraysh were witnesses to their fighting, so the Prophet ﷺ attacked Quraysh in the year of the Conquest, due to the treachery of these three individuals, and he left the rest under the protection of Khuzayah, along with those who fought with them (Khuzayah).
