[AI] I said, "O Messenger of Allah, when the Quraysh meet each other, they greet each other with a pleasant face. But when they meet us, they meet us with unfamiliar faces." The Prophet ﷺ became extremely angry and said, "By the One in Whose Hand is my soul, faith does not enter the heart of a man until he loves you for the sake of Allah and His Messenger."
[AI] I said, O Messenger of Allah, indeed when the Quraysh meet each other, they receive each other with a good greeting, but when they meet us, they meet us with unfamiliar faces. The Messenger of Allah became extremely angry and said, "By the One in whose hand is the soul of Muhammad, the heart of a man does not enter the state of true faith until he loves you for the sake of Allah and His Messenger." I have mentioned in the virtues of Ahlul-Bayt of the Messenger of Allah, and I have explained the reasons for this hadith by mentioning Al-Muttalib ibn Rabee'ah and those who dropped it from the chain of narration, which suffices in this context.

[AI] I said, "O Messenger of Allah, when Quraysh meet each other, they greet one another with smiles. But when they meet us, they meet us with unknown faces." He became extremely angry and then said, "By the One in whose hand is the soul of Muhammad, faith does not enter the heart of a man until he loves you for the sake of Allah and His Messenger." Al-Dhahabi remained quiet on this matter in summary.
