[Machine] That I take from the Muslims one-fourth of the tenth, and from the people of the covenant half of the tenth, and from those who have no covenant the tenth.

البيهقي:١٨٧٦٣ – أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو طَاهِرٍ الْفَقِيهُ أنبأ أَبُو حَامِدٍ أَحْمَدُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ يَحْيَى بْنِ بِلَالٍ ثنا يَحْيَى بْنُ الرَّبِيعِ الْمَكِّيُّ ثنا سُفْيَانُ عَنْ هِشَامٍ عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ سِيرِينَ قَالَ بَعَثَنِي أَنَسُ بْنُ مَالِكٍ ؓ عَلَى الْعُشُورِ فَقُلْتُ تَبْعَثُنِي عَلَى الْعُشُورِ مِنْ بَيْنِ غِلْمَتِكَ؟ فَقَالَ أَلَا تَرْضَى أَنْ أَجْعَلَكَ عَلَى مَا جَعَلَنِي عَلَيْهِ عُمَرُ بْنُ الْخَطَّابِ ؓ أَمَرَنِي

أَنْ آخُذَ مِنَ الْمُسْلِمِينَ رُبْعَ الْعُشْرِ وَمِنْ أَهْلِ الذِّمَّةِ نِصْفَ الْعُشْرِ وَمِمَّنْ لَا ذِمَّةَ لَهُ الْعُشْرَ
