We heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say: “I am not to be inherited from.ʿ

هُرَيْرَةَأَنَّ فَاطِمَةَ جَاءَتْ أَبَا بَكْرٍ وَعُمَرَ تَطْلُبُ مِيرَاثَهَا مِنْ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ فَقَالا إِنَّا سَمِعْنَا رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ إِنِّي لَا أُورَثُ

أَنَّ فَاطِمَةَ جَاءَتْ أَبَا بَكْرٍ وَعُمَرَ تَطْلُبُ مِيرَاثَهَا مِنْ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ فَقَالَا لَهَا إِنَّا سَمِعْنَا رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ إِنِّي لَا أُوَرَّثُ

[Machine] Fatima went to Abu Bakr and Umar and asked for her inheritance. They responded, "We heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say, 'We do not leave behind any inheritance, as what we leave behind is considered charity.'"  

البيهقي:١٢٧٤٠ – أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ يُوسُفَ الْأَصْبَهَانِيُّ أنا أَبُو سَعِيدِ بْنُ الْأَعْرَابِيِّ ثنا عَبَّاسُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الدُّورِيُّ ثنا عَبْدُ الْوَهَّابِ ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَمْرٍو عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ جَاءَتْ

فَاطِمَةُ إِلَى أَبِي بَكْرٍ وَعُمَرَ ؓ تَطْلُبُ مِيرَاثَهَا فَقَالَا سَمِعْنَا رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ لَا نُورَثُ مَا تَرَكْنَا صَدَقَةٌ

"عن أبى هريرة أن فاطمة جَاءَتْ أَبَا بَكْرٍ وَعُمَرَ تَطلُبُ مِيرَاثَها مِنْ رَسُولِ الله ﷺ فَقَالَا: سَمِعْنَاه يَقولُ: "لا وَارِثَ".  

[حم] أحمد [ق] البيهقى في السنن وَلَفْظُهُ: "لا نُورَثُ مَا تَرَكْنَا" وَلَفْظه: "مَا تَرَكْنَا صَدَقَة"
