It was narrated from 'Amr bin Shu'aib, from his father, from his grandfather, that the Prophet ﷺ forbade sitting in circles on Friday before Jumu'ah prayer, and buying and selling in the Masjid.

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ نَهَى عَنِ التَّحَلُّقِ يَوْمَ الْجُمُعَةِ قَبْلَ الصَّلاَةِ وَعَنِ الشِّرَاءِ وَالْبَيْعِ فِي الْمَسْجِدِ

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ prohibited buying and selling in the mosque, announcing aloud about a lost thing, the recitation of a poem in it, and prohibited sitting in a circle (in the mosque) on Friday before the prayer.

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ نَهَى عَنِ الشِّرَاءِ وَالْبَيْعِ فِي الْمَسْجِدِ وَأَنْ تُنْشَدَ فِيهِ ضَالَّةٌ وَأَنْ يُنْشَدَ فِيهِ شِعْرٌ وَنَهَى عَنِ التَّحَلُّقِ قَبْلَ الصَّلاَةِ يَوْمَ الْجُمُعَةِ

Messenger of Allah prohibited the recitation of poetry in the Masjid, and from selling and buying in it, and (he prohibited) the people from forming circles in it on Friday before the Salat."

عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ أَنَّهُ نَهَى عَنْ تَنَاشُدِ الأَشْعَارِ فِي الْمَسْجِدِ وَعَنِ الْبَيْعِ وَالاِشْتِرَاءِ فِيهِ وَأَنْ يَتَحَلَّقَ النَّاسُ فِيهِ يَوْمَ الْجُمُعَةِ قَبْلَ الصَّلاَةِ قَالَ وَفِي الْبَابِ عَنْ بُرَيْدَةَ وَجَابِرٍ وَأَنَسٍ

It was narrated from ‘Amr bin Shu’aib, from his father, from his grandfather, that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ forbade sitting in circles in the mosque on Fridays before the prayer.

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ نَهَى أَنْ يُحَلَّقَ فِي الْمَسْجِدِ يَوْمَ الْجُمُعَةِ قَبْلَ الصَّلاَةِ

It was narrated from 'Amr bin Shu'aib, from his father, from his grandfather, that the Prophet ﷺ forbade sitting in circles on Friday before Jumu'ah prayer, and buying and selling in the Masjid. (Using translation from Nasāʾī 714)

"نَهَى رَسُولُ الله ﷺ عَنِ التَّحلُّق بالْحَدِيثِ يَوْمَ الْجُمُعَةِ قَبْلَ الصَّلاَةِ".
