“I saw a black woman with disheveled hair, who left Al-Madinah and went to stay in Al- Mahya’ah, which is Juhfah. I interpreted it as referring to an epidemic in Al-Madinah which moved to Juhfah.” (Using translation from Ibn Mājah 3924)
عَنْ رُؤْيَا رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ فِي وَبَاءِ الْمَدِينَةِ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ رَأَيْتُ امْرَأَةً سَوْدَاءَ ثَائِرَةَ الرَّأْسِ خَرَجَتْ مِنَ الْمَدِينَةِ حَتَّى قَامَتْ بِمَهْيَعَةَ فَأَوَّلْتُ أَنَّ وَبَاءَهَا نُقِلَ إِلَى مَهْيَعَةَ وَهِيَ الْجُحْفَةُ
