That Messenger of Allah ﷺ came to her in a happy mood with his features glittering with joy, and said, "Have you not heard what the Qaif has said about Zaid and Us-ama? He saw their feet and remarked. These belong to each other." (i.e. They are father and son.)  

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ دَخَلَ عَلَيْهَا مَسْرُورًا تَبْرُقُ أَسَارِيرُ وَجْهِهِ فَقَالَ أَلَمْ تَسْمَعِي مَا قَالَ الْمُدْلِجِيُّ لِزَيْدٍ وَأُسَامَةَ وَرَأَى أَقْدَامَهُمَا إِنَّ بَعْضَ هَذِهِ الأَقْدَامِ مِنْ بَعْضٍ  

Once Messenger of Allah ﷺ entered upon me and he was in a very happy mood and said, "O ʿAisha: Don't you know that Mujazziz Al-Mudliji entered and saw Usama and Zaid with a velvet covering on them and their heads were covered while their feet were uncovered. He said, 'These feet belong to each other.'  

دَخَلَ عَلَىَّ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ ذَاتَ يَوْمٍ وَهْوَ مَسْرُورٌ فَقَالَ يَا عَائِشَةُ أَلَمْ تَرَىْ أَنَّ مُجَزِّزًا الْمُدْلِجِيَّ دَخَلَ فَرَأَى أُسَامَةَ وَزَيْدًا وَعَلَيْهِمَا قَطِيفَةٌ قَدْ غَطَّيَا رُءُوسَهُمَا وَبَدَتْ أَقْدَامُهُمَا فَقَالَ إِنَّ هَذِهِ الأَقْدَامَ بَعْضُهَا مِنْ بَعْضٍ  

One day Allah's Apostle ﷺ visited me looking pleased and he said: 'A'isha, don't you see Mujazziz al-Mudliji? (He) entered (my house) and saw Usama and Zaid with a rug over them covering their heads, but their feet appeared, and (he) said: These feet are related to one another.  

دَخَلَ عَلَىَّ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ ذَاتَ يَوْمٍ مَسْرُورًا فَقَالَ يَا عَائِشَةُ أَلَمْ تَرَىْ أَنَّ مُجَزِّزًا الْمُدْلِجِيَّ دَخَلَ عَلَىَّ فَرَأَى أُسَامَةَ وَزَيْدًا وَعَلَيْهِمَا قَطِيفَةٌ قَدْ غَطَّيَا رُءُوسَهُمَا وَبَدَتْ أَقْدَامُهُمَا فَقَالَ إِنَّ هَذِهِ الأَقْدَامَ بَعْضُهَا مِنْ بَعْضٍ  

"The Messenger of Allah came to me one day looking happy and said: 'O 'Aishah! Did you not see that Mujazziz Al-Mudliji came to me when Usamah bin Zaid was with me. He saw Usamah bin Zaid and Zaid with a blanket over them; their heads were covered but their feet were exposed, and he said: These feet belong to one another.'"  

دَخَلَ عَلَىَّ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ ذَاتَ يَوْمٍ مَسْرُورًا فَقَالَ يَا عَائِشَةُ أَلَمْ تَرَىْ أَنَّ مُجَزِّزًا الْمُدْلِجِيَّ دَخَلَ عَلَىَّ وَعِنْدِي أُسَامَةُ بْنُ زَيْدٍ فَرَأَى أُسَامَةَ بْنَ زَيْدٍ وَزَيْدًا وَعَلَيْهِمَا قَطِيفَةٌ وَقَدْ غَطَّيَا رُءُوسَهُمَا وَبَدَتْ أَقْدَامُهُمَا فَقَالَ هَذِهِ أَقْدَامٌ بَعْضُهَا مِنْ بَعْضٍ  

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ entered upon me. The version of Musaddad and Ibn as-Sarh has: one day looking pleased". The version of Uthman has: "The lines of his forehead were realised." He said: O Aisha, are you not surprised to hear that Mujazziz al-Mudlaji saw that Zayd and Usamah had a rug over them concerning their heads and letting their feet appear. He said: These feet are related. Abu Dawud: Usamah was black and Zaid was white.  

دَخَلَ عَلَىَّ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ مُسَدَّدٌ وَابْنُ السَّرْحِ يَوْمًا مَسْرُورًا وَقَالَ عُثْمَانُ يُعْرَفُ أَسَارِيرُ وَجْهِهِ فَقَالَ أَىْ عَائِشَةُ أَلَمْ تَرَىْ أَنَّ مُجَزِّزًا الْمُدْلِجِيَّ رَأَى زَيْدًا وَأُسَامَةَ قَدْ غَطَّيَا رُءُوسَهُمَا بِقَطِيفَةٍ وَبَدَتْ أَقْدَامُهُمَا فَقَالَ إِنَّ هَذِهِ الأَقْدَامَ بَعْضُهَا مِنْ بَعْضٍ  

“The Messenger of Allah ﷺ came in one day looking happy, and said: 'O 'Aishah, did you not see that Mujazziz Al-Mudliji entered upon me and saw Usamah and Zaid. There was a blanket over them and their faces were covered but their feet were exposed, and he said: 'These feet belong to one another'.”  

دَخَلَ عَلَىَّ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ ذَاتَ يَوْمٍ مَسْرُورًا وَهُوَ يَقُولُ يَا عَائِشَةُ أَلَمْ تَرَىْ أَنَّ مُجَزِّزًا الْمُدْلِجِيَّ دَخَلَ عَلَىَّ فَرَأَى أُسَامَةَ وَزَيْدًا عَلَيْهِمَا قَطِيفَةٌ قَدْ غَطَّيَا رُءُوسَهُمَا وَقَدْ بَدَتْ أَقْدَامُهُمَا فَقَالَ إِنَّ هَذِهِ الأَقْدَامَ بَعْضُهَا مِنْ بَعْضٍ  

“The Messenger of Allah ﷺ came in one day looking happy, and said: 'O 'Aishah, did you not see that Mujazziz Al-Mudliji entered upon me and saw Usamah and Zaid. عَنْ عَائِشَةَ دَخَلَ مُجَزِّزٌ الْمُدْلِجِيُّ عَلَى رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ فَرَأَى أُسَامَةَ وَزَيْدًا عَلَيْهِمَا قَطِيفَةٌ وَقَدْ غَطَّيَا رُءُوسَهُمَا وَبَدَتْ أَقْدَامُهُمَا فَقَالَ إِنَّ هَذِهِ الْأَقْدَامَ بَعْضُهَا مِنْ بَعْضٍ وَقَالَ مَرَّةً دَخَلَ عَلَيَّ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ مَسْرُورًا  

“The Messenger of Allah ﷺ came in one day looking happy, and said: 'O 'Aishah, did you not see that Mujazziz Al-Mudliji entered upon me and saw Usamah and Zaid. دَخَلَ عَلَيَّ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ مَسْرُورًا فَقَالَ «يَا عَائِشَةُ أَلَمْ تَرِ إِلَى مُجَزِّزٍ الْمُدْلِجِيِّ دَخَلَ عَلَيَّ» فَرَأَى أُسَامَةَ وَزَيْدًا عَلَيْهِمَا قَطِيفَةٌ قَدْ غَطَّيَا رُءُوسَهُمَا وَبَدَتْ أَقْدَامُهُمَا فَقَالَ إِنَّ هَذِهِ الْأَقْدَامَ بَعْضُهَا مِنْ بَعْضٍ «
