ذِكْرُ الْبَيَانِ بِأَنَّ مُجَزِّزًا الْمُدْلِجِيَّ كَانَ قَائِفًا

ibnhibban:4103 – Ibn Salm > Ḥarmalah > Ibn Wahb > Yūnus > Ibn Shihāb > ʿUrwah > ʿĀʾishah

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ came to me with great joy and happiness. He looked at Usama bin Zaid lying down with his father and said, "These feet are similar to each other, and Usama has grown up well."  

ابن حبّان:٤١٠٣ – أَخْبَرَنَا ابْنُ سَلْمٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا حَرْمَلَةُ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ وَهْبٍ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا يُونُسُ عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ عَنْ عُرْوَةَ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ قَالَتْ

دَخَلَ عَلَيَّ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ مَسْرُورًا فَرِحًا مِمَّا قَالَ مُجَزِّزٌ الْمُدْلِجِيُّ وَنَظَرَ إِلَى أُسَامَةَ بْنِ زَيْدٍ مُضْطَجِعًا مَعَ أَبِيهِ فَقَالَ «هَذِهِ الْأَقْدَامُ بَعْضُهَا مِنْ بَعْضٍ وَكَانَ مُجَزِّزٌ قَائِفًا»

That Messenger of Allah ﷺ came to her in a happy mood with his features glittering with joy, and said, "Have you not heard what the Qaif has said about Zaid and Us-ama? He saw their feet and remarked. These belong to each other." (i.e. They are father and son.)  

البخاري:٣٥٥٥ – حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ جُرَيْجٍ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنِي ابْنُ شِهَابٍ عَنْ عُرْوَةَ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ ؓ

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ دَخَلَ عَلَيْهَا مَسْرُورًا تَبْرُقُ أَسَارِيرُ وَجْهِهِ فَقَالَ أَلَمْ تَسْمَعِي مَا قَالَ الْمُدْلِجِيُّ لِزَيْدٍ وَأُسَامَةَ وَرَأَى أَقْدَامَهُمَا إِنَّ بَعْضَ هَذِهِ الأَقْدَامِ مِنْ بَعْضٍ  

ذِكْرُ سُرُورِ الْمُصْطَفَى ﷺ بِقَوْلِ مُجَزِّزٍ فِي أُسَامَةَ مَا قَالَ

ibnhibban:7057 – Ḥāmid b. Muḥammad b. Shuʿayb al-Balkhī > Surayj b. Yūnus > Sufyān > al-Zuhrī > ʿUrwah > ʿĀʾishah

“The Messenger of Allah ﷺ came in one day looking happy, and said: 'O 'Aishah, did you not see that Mujazziz Al-Mudliji entered upon me and saw Usamah and Zaid. There was a blanket over them and their faces were covered but their feet were exposed, and he said: 'These feet belong to one another'.” (Using translation from Ibn Mājah 2349)  

ابن حبّان:٧٠٥٧ – أَخْبَرَنَا حَامِدُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ شُعَيْبٍ الْبَلْخِيُّ حَدَّثَنَا سُرَيْجُ بْنُ يُونُسَ حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ عَنْ عُرْوَةَ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ قَالَتْ

دَخَلَ عَلَيَّ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ مَسْرُورًا فَقَالَ «يَا عَائِشَةُ أَلَمْ تَرِ إِلَى مُجَزِّزٍ الْمُدْلِجِيِّ دَخَلَ عَلَيَّ» فَرَأَى أُسَامَةَ وَزَيْدًا عَلَيْهِمَا قَطِيفَةٌ قَدْ غَطَّيَا رُءُوسَهُمَا وَبَدَتْ أَقْدَامُهُمَا فَقَالَ إِنَّ هَذِهِ الْأَقْدَامَ بَعْضُهَا مِنْ بَعْضٍ «  

bayhaqi:21257 – Abū ʿAbdullāh al-Ḥāfiẓ > Abū ʿUmar / Ibn Ḥamdān > al-Ḥasan b. Sufyān > Ḥarmalah b. Yaḥyá > Ibn Wahb > Yūnus > Ibn Shihāb > ʿUrwah b. al-Zubayr > ʿĀʾishah

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ entered upon me, looking happy and joyful. Then he looked at Usamah ibn Zaid lying down with his father and said, "These are feet, some of them touching each other, while they belong to a person who is tall."  

البيهقي:٢١٢٥٧ – أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَافِظُ أَخْبَرَنِي أَبُو عُمَرَ وَهُوَ ابْنُ حَمْدَانَ أنبأ الْحَسَنُ بْنُ سُفْيَانَ ثنا حَرْمَلَةُ بْنُ يَحْيَى أنبأ ابْنُ وَهْبٍ أَخْبَرَنِي يُونُسُ عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ عَنْ عُرْوَةَ بْنِ الزُّبَيْرِ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ ؓ قَالَتْ
