Some meat was presented to the Prophet ﷺ and it had been given to Barira (the freed slave-girl of Aisha) in charity. He said, "This meat is a thing of charity for Barira but it is a gift for us."

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ أُتِيَ بِلَحْمٍ تُصُدِّقَ بِهِ عَلَى بَرِيرَةَ فَقَالَ هُوَ عَلَيْهَا صَدَقَةٌ وَهُوَ لَنَا هَدِيَّةٌ وَقَالَ أَبُو دَاوُدَ أَنْبَأَنَا شُعْبَةُ عَنْ قَتَادَةَ سَمِعَ أَنَسًا عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ

Some meat was brought to the Prophet ﷺ and it was said that the meat had been given in charity to Barirah. He said, "It was Sadaqa for Barirah but a gift for us."

أُتِيَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ بِلَحْمٍ فَقِيلَ تُصُدِّقَ عَلَى بَرِيرَةَ قَالَ هُوَ لَهَا صَدَقَةٌ وَلَنَا هَدِيَّةٌ

That is a Sadaqa for her and a gift for us.

أَهْدَتْ بَرِيرَةُ إِلَى النَّبِيِّ ﷺ لَحْمًا تُصُدِّقَ بِهِ عَلَيْهَا فَقَالَ هُوَ لَهَا صَدَقَةٌ وَلَنَا هَدِيَّةٌ

It is a Sadaqa for her and a gift for us.

عَنْ عَائِشَةَ وَأُتِيَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ بِلَحْمِ بَقَرٍ فَقِيلَ هَذَا مَا تُصُدِّقَ بِهِ عَلَى بَرِيرَةَ فَقَالَ هُوَ لَهَا صَدَقَةٌ وَلَنَا هَدِيَّةٌ

Anas said when some meat was brought to the Prophet ﷺ , he asked What is this? He was told this is a thing (meat), which was given as sadaqah to Barirah. Thereupon, he said it is sadaqah for her and a gift to us.

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ أُتِيَ بِلَحْمٍ قَالَ مَا هَذَا قَالُوا شَىْءٌ تُصُدِّقَ بِهِ عَلَى بَرِيرَةَ فَقَالَ هُوَ لَهَا صَدَقَةٌ وَلَنَا هَدِيَّةٌ

"What is this?" It was said: "It was given in charity to Barirah." He said: "It is charity for her and a gift for us."

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ أُتِيَ بِلَحْمٍ فَقَالَ مَا هَذَا فَقِيلَ تُصُدِّقَ بِهِ عَلَى بَرِيرَةَ فَقَالَ هُوَ لَهَا صَدَقَةٌ وَلَنَا هَدِيَّةٌ

[AI] "The Messenger of Allah, ﷺ , is for her a charity and for us a gift."

رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ هُوَ لَهَا صَدَقَةٌ وَلَنَا هَدِيَّةٌ

رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ هُوَ لَهَا صَدَقَةٌ وَلَنَا هَدِيَّةٌ

[AI] The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ has a donation for her and we have a gift.

النَّبِيُّ ﷺ هُوَ لَهَا صَدَقَةٌ وَلَنَا هَدِيَّةٌ

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ أُتِيَ بِلَحْمٍ فَقِيلَ لَهُ إِنَّهُ تُصُدِّقَ بِهِ عَلَى بَرِيرَةَ قَالَ هُوَ لَهَا صَدَقَةٌ وَلَنَا هَدِيَّةٌ

"What is this?" It was said: "It was given in charity to Barirah." He said: "It is charity for her and a gift for us." (Using translation from Nasāʾī 3760)

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ أُتِيَ بِلَحْمٍ فَقَالَ «مَا هَذَا؟» فَقِيلَ تُصُدِّقَ بِهِ عَلَى بَرِيرَةَ فَقَالَ «هُوَ لَهَا صَدَقَةٌ وَلَنَا هَدِيَّةٌ»

"الْهديةُ لَنَا، والصَّدَقَةُ عَلَيهَا"، يعني بريدة.
