[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "When one of you stands up to pray, he is facing mercy, so let him not touch the pebbles or move them."  

أحمد:٢١٥٥٣ – حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ أَخْبَرَنَا ابْنُ أَبِي ذِئْبٍ عَنْ الزُّهْرِيِّ عَنْ أَبِي الْأَحْوَصِ عَنْ أَبِي ذَرٍّ قَالَ

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ إِذَا قَامَ أَحَدُكُمْ إِلَى الصَّلَاةِ اسْتَقْبَلَتْهُ الرَّحْمَةُ فَلَا يَمَسَّ الْحَصَى وَلَا يُحَرِّكْهَا

ابن ماجة:١٠٢٧ – حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامُ بْنُ عَمَّارٍ وَمُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الصَّبَّاحِ قَالاَ حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ بْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ عَنْ أَبِي الأَحْوَصِ اللَّيْثِيِّ عَنْ أَبِي ذَرٍّ قَالَ

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ إِذَا قَامَ أَحَدُكُمْ إِلَى الصَّلاَةِ فَإِنَّ الرَّحْمَةَ تُوَاجِهُهُ فَلاَ يَمْسَحِ الْحَصَى  

ahmad:13397 – Sulaymān b. Ḥayyān > Ḥumayd > Anas

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "When one of you comes to pray, let them walk with humility. Whatever they catch up with, they have completed, and whatever they miss, they should make up for."  

أحمد:١٣٣٩٧ – حَدَّثَنَا سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ حَيَّانَ حَدَّثَنَا حُمَيْدٌ عَنْ أَنَسٍ قَالَ

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ إِذَا جَاءَ أَحَدُكُمْ إِلَى الصَّلَاةِ فَلْيَمْشِ عَلَى هِينَتِهِ فَمَا أَدْرَكَ صَلَّى وَمَا سَبَقَهُ أَتَمَّ  

ahmad:21332 – Hārūn > ʿAbdullāh b. Wahb > Yūnus > Ibn Shihāb > Abū al-Aḥwaṣ a freed slave of Banī Layth

[Machine] "He heard Abu Dharr saying: 'The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: When any one of you stands for prayer, he is being faced by the mercy (of Allah). So let him not brush away his clothing or touch the pebbles.'  

أحمد:٢١٣٣٢ – حَدَّثَنَا هَارُونُ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ وَهْبٍ أَخْبَرَنِي يُونُسُ عَنْ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ أَبَا الْأَحْوَصِ مَوْلَى بَنِي لَيْثٍ يُحَدِّثُنَا فِي مَجْلِسِ ابْنِ الْمُسَيَّبِ وَابْنُ الْمُسَيَّبِ جَالِسٌ

أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ أَبَا ذَرٍّ يَقُولُ إِنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ إِذَا قَامَ أَحَدُكُمْ إِلَى الصَّلَاةِ فَإِنَّ الرَّحْمَةَ تُوَاجِهُهُ فَلَا يُحَرِّكِ الْحَصَى أَوْ لَا يَمَسَّ الْحَصَى
