The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: When the words of Iqama are pronounced, none of you should run to it (to join the prayer) but walk with tranquillity and dignity, and pray what you are in time for and complete what has gone before (what the Imam has completed).

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ إِذَا ثُوِّبَ بِالصَّلاَةِ فَلاَ يَسْعَ إِلَيْهَا أَحَدُكُمْ وَلَكِنْ لِيَمْشِ وَعَلَيْهِ السَّكِينَةُ وَالْوَقَارُ صَلِّ مَا أَدْرَكْتَ وَاقْضِ مَا سَبَقَكَ

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: When the words of Iqama are pronounced, none of you should run to it (to join the prayer) but walk with tranquillity and dignity, and pray what you are in time for and complete what has gone before (what the Imam has completed). (Using translation from Muslim 602d)

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ إِذَا ثُوِّبَ بِالصَّلَاةِ فَلَا يَسْعَى إِلَيْهَا أَحَدُكُمْ وَلَكِنْ لِيَمْشِ وَعَلَيْهِ السَّكِينَةُ وَالْوَقَارُ صَلِّ مَا أَدْرَكْتَ وَاقْضِ مَا سَبَقَكَ

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "When one of you comes to pray, let them walk with humility. Whatever they catch up with, they have completed, and whatever they miss, they should make up for."

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ إِذَا جَاءَ أَحَدُكُمْ إِلَى الصَّلَاةِ فَلْيَمْشِ عَلَى هِينَتِهِ فَمَا أَدْرَكَ صَلَّى وَمَا سَبَقَهُ أَتَمَّ

[Machine] The Prophet ﷺ said, "When the prayer is performed, none of you should rush towards it. Rather, let tranquility and dignity accompany you as you walk to it. Pray what you caught and make up for what you missed."

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ إِذَا ثُوِّبَ بِالصَّلَاةِ فَلَا يَسْعَيَنَّ إِلَيْهَا أَحَدُكُمْ وَلَكِنْ لِيَمْشِ عَلَيْهِ السَّكِينَةُ وَالْوَقَارُ صَلِّ مَا أَدْرَكْتَ وَاقْضِ مَا سُبِقْتَ

اللَّهُ عَلَيه وَسَلَّم إذا أتى أحدكم الصلاة فليأتها وعليه السكينة فما أدرك فليصل وما فاته فليتم

اللَّهُ عَلَيه وَسَلَّم إذا سمع أحدكم الإقامة فليأت وعليه السكينة فليصل ما أدرك وليقض ما فاته

اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إذا أتى أحدكم يعني الصلاة فلا يسع إليها وليمش وعليه السكينة والوقار فَلْيُصَلِّ مَا أَدْرَكَ وَلْيَقْضِ مَا سَبَقَهُ

"إذَا جَاءَ أحَدُكُمْ إلَى الصَّلاةِ فلْيمشِ عَلى هَيئِتِه فَليُصَلّ مَا أدْرَكَ ولْيَقْضِ مَا سَبقَهُ".
