The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: When the words of Iqama are pronounced, none of you should run to it (to join the prayer) but walk with tranquillity and dignity, and pray what you are in time for and complete what has gone before (what the Imam has completed).

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ إِذَا ثُوِّبَ بِالصَّلاَةِ فَلاَ يَسْعَ إِلَيْهَا أَحَدُكُمْ وَلَكِنْ لِيَمْشِ وَعَلَيْهِ السَّكِينَةُ وَالْوَقَارُ صَلِّ مَا أَدْرَكْتَ وَاقْضِ مَا سَبَقَكَ

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "When you come to the prayer, you must bring peace and tranquility. Whatever you catch, then perform the prayer, and whatever you miss, then complete it."

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ «إِذَا أَتَيْتُمُ الصَّلَاةَ فَعَلَيْكُمْ بِالسَّكِينَةِ فَمَا أَدْرَكْتُمْ فَصَلُّوا وَمَا سُبِقْتُمْ فَأَتِمُّوا»

[AI] On the authority of the Prophet ﷺ, he said, "When one of you hears the adhan, let tranquility settle upon him. Whatever part of the prayer he catches, let him pray it, and whatever part he misses, let him complete it."

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ إِذَا سَمِعَ أَحَدُكُمُ الْإِقَامَةَ فَلْيَأْتِ عَلَيْهِ السَّكِينَةُ فَمَا أَدْرَكَ فَلْيُصَلِّ وَمَا فَاتَهُ فَلْيُتِمَّ

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ إِذَا ثُوِّبَ بِالصَّلَاةِ فَلَا يَسْعَى إِلَيْهَا أَحَدُكُمْ وَلَكِنْ لِيَمْشِ وَعَلَيْهِ السَّكِينَةُ وَالْوَقَارُ صَلِّ مَا أَدْرَكْتَ وَاقْضِ مَا سَبَقَكَ

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "When one of you comes to pray, let them walk with humility. Whatever they catch up with, they have completed, and whatever they miss, they should make up for."

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ إِذَا جَاءَ أَحَدُكُمْ إِلَى الصَّلَاةِ فَلْيَمْشِ عَلَى هِينَتِهِ فَمَا أَدْرَكَ صَلَّى وَمَا سَبَقَهُ أَتَمَّ

[AI] The Prophet ﷺ said, "If one of you arrives while the prayer has already been established, then let him walk to his place calmly and offer what he catches up with, and make up for what he missed."

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ قَالَ إِذَا جَاءَ أَحَدُكُمْ وَقَدْ أُقِيمَتِ الصَّلَاةُ فَلْيَمْشِ عَلَى هِينَتِهِ فَلْيُصَلِّ مَا أَدْرَكَ وَلْيَقْضِ مَا سُبِقَهُ

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "When one of you stands up to pray, he is facing mercy, so let him not touch the pebbles or move them."

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ إِذَا قَامَ أَحَدُكُمْ إِلَى الصَّلَاةِ اسْتَقْبَلَتْهُ الرَّحْمَةُ فَلَا يَمَسَّ الْحَصَى وَلَا يُحَرِّكْهَا

قَالَ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ يقول إذا أقيمت الصلاة فلا تأتوها وأنتم تسعون وأتوها وأنتم تمشون وعليكم السكينة فما أدركتم فصلوا وما فاتكم فاقضوا

قَالَ قَالَ رَسُول اللهِ ﷺ ائتوا الصلاة وعليكم السكينة والوقار فصلوا ما أدركتم واقضوا ما سبقكم

قَالَ قَالَ رَسُول اللهِ ﷺ إذا سمع أحدكم الإقامة فليأت وعليه السكينة فليصل ما أدرك وليقض ما فاته

قَالَ قَالَ رَسُول اللهِ ﷺ إذا أتى أحدكم الصلاة فليأتها وعليه السكينة فما أدرك فليصل وما فاته فليتم

قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ إذا أتى أحدكم يعني الصلاة فلا يسع إليها وليمش وعليه السكينة والوقار فَلْيُصَلِّ مَا أَدْرَكَ وَلْيَقْضِ مَا سَبَقَهُ

قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ إذا أتى أحدكم الصَّلاةِ فَلْيَمْشِ عَلَى هَيْئَتِهِ فَلْيُصَلِّ مَا أَدْرَكَ وليقض ما سبق بِهِ وَهَذَا الحديثُ لاَ نَعْلَمُ رَوَاهُ عَنْ يونس عن مُحَمَّد عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ؓ إلا هشيم

قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ إذا أتيتم الصلاة فأتوها وعليكم السكينة فما أدركتم فصلوا وما سبقكم فاقضوا

[AI] The Prophet ﷺ said, "When the prayer is performed, none of you should rush towards it. Rather, let tranquility and dignity accompany you as you walk to it. Pray what you caught and make up for what you missed."

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ إِذَا ثُوِّبَ بِالصَّلَاةِ فَلَا يَسْعَيَنَّ إِلَيْهَا أَحَدُكُمْ وَلَكِنْ لِيَمْشِ عَلَيْهِ السَّكِينَةُ وَالْوَقَارُ صَلِّ مَا أَدْرَكْتَ وَاقْضِ مَا سُبِقْتَ

"إِذَا أقيمتْ الصَّلاةُ فْليمشِ أحدُكُمْ على هَيْنَتِه فْليُصَلِّ مَا أدْرَكَ وَليقْضِ ما سُبِقَ بِهَ".

"إذَا جَاءَ أحَدُكُمْ إلَى الصَّلاةِ فلْيمشِ عَلى هَيئِتِه فَليُصَلّ مَا أدْرَكَ ولْيَقْضِ مَا سَبقَهُ".

"إذا سَمعَ أحدُكُمْ الإقامةَ فلْيأت وعليه السَّكينَةُ فما أدْركَ فليُصلِّ، وما فاتَه فليُتِمَّ".
