[Machine] I saw the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and in his chest was a sound like the sound of a boiling pot from crying. Abdullah bin Ahmad said that no one cried more than Yazid bin Harun.

أحمد:١٦٣١٢ – حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ عَنْ ثَابِتٍ الْبُنَانِيِّ عَنْ مُطَرِّفِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ عَنْ أَبِيهِ قَالَ

رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ وَفِي صَدْرِهِ أَزِيزٌكَأَزِيزِ الْمِرْجَلِ مِنَ الْبُكَاءِ قَالَ عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ لَمْ يَقُلْ مِنَ الْبُكَاءِ إِلَّا يَزِيدُ بْنُ هَارُونَ

I saw the Messenger of Allah ﷺ praying and a sound came from his breast like the rumbling of a mill owing to weeping. (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 904)

الحاكم:٩٧١ – حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرٍ أَحْمَدُ بْنُ سَلْمَانَ الْفَقِيهُ ثنا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ مُكْرَمٍ ثنا يَزِيدُ بْنُ هَارُونَ أَنْبَأَ حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ عَنْ ثَابِتٍ عَنْ مُطَرِّفٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ قَالَ

رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ «يُصَلِّي وَفِي صَدْرِهِ أَزِيزٌ كَأَزِيزِ الْمِرْجَلِ مِنَ الْبُكَاءِ»

«هَذَا حَدِيثٌ صَحِيحٌ عَلَى شَرْطِ مُسْلِمٍ وَلَمْ يُخَرِّجَاهُ» على شرط مسلم
