We performed Hajj Tamattu' along with Messenger of Allah ﷺ and we slaughtered a cow on behalf of seven persons sharing in it.

كُنَّا نَتَمَتَّعُ مَعَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ بِالْعُمْرَةِ فَنَذْبَحُ الْبَقَرَةَ عَنْ سَبْعَةٍ نَشْتَرِكُ فِيهَا

We performed tamattu' during the lifetime of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, sacrificed a cow for seven and a camel for seven people. We shared them.

كُنَّا نَتَمَتَّعُ فِي عَهْدِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ نَذْبَحُ الْبَقَرَةَ عَنْ سَبْعَةٍ وَالْجَزُورَ عَنْ سَبْعَةٍ نَشْتَرِكُ فِيهَا

The Prophet ﷺ said: A cow serves for seven, and a camel serves for seven.

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ قَالَ الْبَقَرَةُ عَنْ سَبْعَةٍ وَالْجَزُورُ عَنْ سَبْعَةٍ

"We would make Tamattu' when the Prophet was with us, and we would sacrifice a cow on behalf of seven people, sharing it among ourselves." (Sahih )

كُنَّا نَتَمَتَّعُ مَعَ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ فَنَذْبَحُ الْبَقَرَةَ عَنْ سَبْعَةٍ وَنَشْتَرِكُ فِيهَا

[AI] We used to enjoy during the time of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ the slaughtering of a cow, in which seven of us would participate.
