الأدب المفرد:١٩٣ – حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي اللَّيْثُ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي ابْنُ عَجْلاَنَ عَنْ بُكَيْرٍ أَنَّ عَجْلاَنَ أَبَا مُحَمَّدٍ حَدَّثَهُ قُبَيْلَ وَفَاتِهِ أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ أَبَا هُرَيْرَةَ يَقُولُ

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ لِلْمَمْلُوكِ طَعَامُهُ وَكِسْوَتُهُ وَلاَ يُكَلَّفُ إِلاَّ مَا يُطِيقُ

muslim:1662 – Abū al-Ṭāhir Aḥmad b. ʿAmr b. Sarḥ > Ibn Wahb > ʿAmr b. al-Ḥārith > Bukayr b. al-Ashaj > al-ʿAjlān a freed slave of Fāṭimah > Abū Hurayrah

It is essential to feed the slave, clothe him (properly) and not burden him with work which is beyond his power.
