adab:192 –

Abu Hurayra reported that the Prophet ﷺ said, "The slave has his food and clothing. Do not burden a slave with work which he is incapable of doing."

الأدب المفرد:١٩٢ – حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ يَزِيدَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدُ بْنُ أَبِي أَيُّوبَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي ابْنُ عَجْلاَنَ عَنْ بُكَيْرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ عَنْ عَجْلاَنَ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ لِلْمَمْلُوكِ طَعَامُهُ وَكِسْوَتُهُ وَلاَ يُكَلَّفُ مِنَ الْعَمَلِ مَا لاَ يُطِيقُ

It is essential to feed the slave, clothe him (properly) and not burden him with work which is beyond his power.
