The Prophet ﷺ used to hold a race between horses and kept the one in the fifth year at a long distance.  

أبو داود:٢٥٧٧ – حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ حَنْبَلٍ حَدَّثَنَا عُقْبَةُ بْنُ خَالِدٍ عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ عَنْ نَافِعٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ سَبَّقَ بَيْنَ الْخَيْلِ وَفَضَّلَ الْقُرَّحَ فِي الْغَايَةِ

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ سَبَّقَ بَيْنَ الْخَيْلِ وَفَضَّلَ الْقُرَّحَ فِي الْغَايَةِ  

ذِكْرُ إِبَاحَةِ تَفْضِيلِ الْقُرَّحِ مِنَ الْخَيْلِ عَلَى غَيْرِهَا فِي الْغَايَةِ عِنْدَ السَّبَّاقِ

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ advanced between the horses and advanced the wound to the extreme.
