“The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, during the Farewell Pilgrimage: ‘Is not the most sacred of your days this day, is not the most sacred of your months this month, is not the most sacred of your lands this land? Your blood and your wealth are as sacred to you as this day of yours in this month of yours. Have I not conveyed (the message)?’ They said: ‘Yes.” He said: ‘O Allah, bear witness.’”  

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ فِي حِجَّةِ الْوَدَاعِ أَلاَ إِنَّ أَحْرَمَ الأَيَّامِ يَوْمُكُمْ هَذَا أَلاَ وَإِنَّ أَحْرَمَ الشُّهُورِ شَهْرُكُمْ هَذَا أَلاَ وَإِنَّ أَحْرَمَ الْبَلَدِ بَلَدُكُمْ هَذَا أَلاَ وَإِنَّ دِمَاءَكُمْ وَأَمْوَالَكُمْ عَلَيْكُمْ حَرَامٌ كَحُرْمَةِ يَوْمِكُمْ هَذَا فِي شَهْرِكُمْ هَذَا فِي بَلَدِكُمْ هَذَا أَلاَ هَلْ بَلَّغْتُ قَالُوا نَعَمْ قَالَ اللَّهُمَّ اشْهَدْ  

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ delivered a sermon to us on the day of Aqaba and said, "O people, indeed, your blood and your wealth are sacred to you until you meet your Lord, just as the sanctity of this day of yours, in this month of yours, in this land of yours. Have I conveyed the message?" They said, "Yes." He said, "O Allah, have I conveyed the message?"  

خَطَبَنَا رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ يَوْمَ الْعَقَبَةِ فَقَالَ يَا أَيُّهَا النَّاسُ إِنَّ دِمَاءَكُمْ وَأَمْوَالَكُمْ عَلَيْكُمْ حَرَامٌ إِلَى أَنْ تَلْقَوْا رَبَّكُمْ كَحُرْمَةِ يَوْمِكُمْ هَذَا فِي بَلَدِكُمْ هَذَا فِي شَهْرِكُمْ هَذَا أَلَا هَلْ بَلَّغْتُ؟ قَالُوا نَعَمْ قَالَ اللهُمَّ هَلْ بَلَّغْتُ؟  

“The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, during the Farewell Pilgrimage: ‘Is not the most sacred of your days this day, is not the most sacred of your months this month, is not the most sacred of your lands this land? Your blood and your wealth are as sacred to you as this day of yours in this month of yours. Have I not conveyed (the message)?’ They said: ‘Yes.” He said: ‘O Allah, bear witness.’” (Using translation from Ibn Mājah 3931)  

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ فِي حَجَّةِ الْوَدَاعِ أَلَا إِنَّ أَحْرَمَ الْأَيَّامِ يَوْمُكُمْ هَذَا وَإِنَّ أَحْرَمَ الشُّهُورِ شَهْرُكُمْ هَذَا وَإِنَّ أَحْرَمَ الْبِلَادِ بَلَدُكُمْ هَذَا أَلَا وَإِنَّ أَمْوَالَكُمْ وَدِمَاءَكُمْ عَلَيْكُمْ حَرَامٌ كَحُرْمَةِ يَوْمِكُمْ هَذَا فِي بَلَدِكُمْ هَذَا فِيشَهْرِكُمْ هَذَا أَلَا هَلْ بَلَّغْتُ؟ قَالُوا نَعَمْ قَالَ اللهُمَّ اشْهَدْ  

[Machine] He witnessed the Messenger of Allah ﷺ in the Farewell Pilgrimage, and he said, "Indeed, your blood, your wealth, and your honor are forbidden upon you, like the sanctity of this day, this month, and this city." Abu Abdullah Al-Rahman said, and Abu Khaythamah narrated to us, and Jarir mentioned it the same way.  

أَنَّهُ شَهِدَ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ فِي حَجَّةِ الْوَدَاعِ فَقَالَ أَلَا إِنَّ دِمَاءَكُمْ وَأَمْوَالَكُمْ وَأَعْرَاضَكُمْ عَلَيْكُمْ حَرَامٌ كَحُرْمَةِ يَوْمِكُمْ هَذَا وَكَحُرْمَةِ شَهْرِكُمْ هَذَا وَكَحُرْمَةِ بَلَدِكُمْ هَذَا قَالَ أَبُو عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ وحَدَّثَنِي أَبُو خَيْثَمَةَ حَدَّثَنَا جَرِيرٌ فَذَكَرَهُ مِثْلَهُ  

[Machine] We heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say, "Verily, your blood and your wealth are sacred upon you, just as this day and this land of yours are sacred."  

سَمِعْنَا رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ «إِنَّ دِمَاءَكُمْ وَأَمْوَالَكُمْ عَلَيْكُمْ حَرَامٌ كَحُرْمَةِ يَوْمِكُمْ هَذَا فِي بَلَدِكُمْ هَذَا»  

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ addressed them in the Farewell Pilgrimage and said, "Verily, Allah has forbidden you from shedding each other's blood and taking each other's wealth, just as the sanctity of this day of yours in this month of yours in this land of yours. Have I conveyed the message?" They said, "Yes." He said, "O Allah, bear witness." He repeated this three times, and then he said, "Behold, do not revert to disbelief after me, striking each other's necks."  

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ خَطَبَهُمْ فِي حَجَّةِ الْوَدَاعِ فَقَالَ «أَلَا إِنَّ اللهَ حَرَّمَ عَلَيْكُمْ دِمَاءَكُمْ وَأَمْوَالَكُمْ كَحُرْمَةِ يَوْمِكُمْ هَذَا فِي بَلَدِكُمْ هَذَا فِي شَهْرِكُمْ هَذَا أَلَا هَلْ بَلَّغْتُ؟» قَالُوا نَعَمْ قَالَ «اللهُمَّ اشْهَدْ» قَالَ ذَلِكَ ثَلَاثًا ثُمَّ قَالَ «انْظُرُوا لَا تَرْجِعُوا بَعْدِي كُفَّارًا يَضْرِبُ بَعْضُكُمْ رِقَابَ بَعْضٍ»  

"إِنَّ أَحرَمَ الأَيَّام يومُكم هذا، فِى شهرِكم هذا، في بلدِكم

(هذا) أَلَا إِنَّ دماءَكم وأَموالكم حرامٌ، كحرمةِ يومِكم هذَا في شهرِكم هذا في بلدِكم هذا، أَلَا هَلْ بلَّغْتُ؟ قالوا: نَعَمْ، قال: اللهُمَّ اشْهَدْ".  

"أَلَا إِنَّ دِمَاءَكُمْ وَأَمْوَالَكُمْ وَأَعْرَاضَكُم عَليكمْ حَرَامٌ كَحُرمَةِ يَوْمِكُمْ هذا وكَحُرمَةِ بَلَدِكُمْ هَذا، وكَحُرمَةِ شَهْركُمْ هَذا، أَلَا هَلْ بلّغْت اللَّهم اشْهَدْ ".  

"عَن الْعَدِّ بْنِ خَالِدٍ بنِ هَوْدَةَ قَالَ: حَجَجْتُ مَعَ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ حَجَّةَ الوَداعِ فَرَأَيْتُهُ قَائِمًا فِى الرَّكابَيْنِ وَهُوَ يَقُولُ: أَتَدْرُونَ أَىَّ شَهْرٍ هَذَا؟ أَىَّ بَلَدٍ هَذَا؟ فإِنَّ دِمَاءَكُمْ وَأَمْوَالَكُمْ عَلَيْكُمْ حَرَامٌ كَحُرْمَةِ يَوْمِكُمْ هَذَا، فِى شَهْرِكُمْ هَذَا، هَلْ بَلَّغْتُ؟ قَالُوا: نَعَمْ، اللَّهُمَّ اشْهَدْ".  

" عَنْ مُوسَى بْنِ زِيَادِ بْنِ حُزَيْمٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ جَدِّهِ حُزَيْمِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو أَنَّهُ شَهِدَ رَسُولَ الله ﷺ فِى حَجَّةِ الْوَدَاعِ وَهُوَ يَقُولُ: أَلَا إِنَّ دِمَاءَكُمْ، وَأَمْوَالَكُمْ، وَأَعْرَاضَكُمْ عَلَيْكُمْ حَرَامٌ كَحُرْمَةِ يَوْمِكُمْ هَذَا، فِى شَهْرِكُمْ هَذَا، فِى بَلَدِكُمْ هَذَا، أَلَا هَلْ بَلَّغْتُ؟ فَقَالُوا: الَّلهُمَّ نَعَمْ".  

"عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ: قَالَ رسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ : إِنَّ أحْرَمَ الأيَّام يَوْمُكُم هَذَا فِي شْهرِكُم هَذَا، فِي بَلَدِكُمْ هَذَا، قَالَ: إِنَّ دِمَاءَكُم حَرامٌ عَلَيْكُم كحُرمَةِ يَوْمِكُمْ هَذَا، فِي شَهركُمْ هَذا، فِي بَلدِكُمْ هَذا، أَلَا هَلْ بَلَّغْتُ؟ قَالُوا: نَعَمْ، اللَّهُمَّ اشْهَدْ".
