[Machine] My mother came to me during the time of Quraysh, while she was a polytheist. I asked the Prophet ﷺ about her status, and he replied, "Yes."  

الطبراني:٢٠٨٠٩ – حَدَّثَنَا يُوسُفُ الْقَاضِي وَإِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ نَائِلَةَ الْأَصْبَهَانِيُّ قَالَا ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَبِي بَكْرٍ الْمُقَدَّمِيُّ ثنا سُفْيَانُ بْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ وَعُمَرُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ عَنْ هِشَامِ بْنِ عُرْوَةَ عَنْ فَاطِمَةَ بِنْتِ الْمُنْذِرِ عَنْ أَسْمَاءَ بِنْتِ أَبِي بَكْرٍ قَالَتْ

أَتَتْنِي أُمِّي فِي عَهْدِ قُرَيْشٍ وَهِيَ مُشْرِكَةٌ فَسَأَلْتُ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ أَصْلُهَا؟ قَالَ «نَعَمْ» بَابٌ

[Machine] My mother came to me desiring to embrace the religion of Quraish while she was a polytheist, so I asked the Messenger of Allah ﷺ about her lineage. He said, "Yes."
