[Machine] The Prophet ﷺ used to stand on the pulpit, deliver a sermon, sit, stand again and deliver another sermon, and then sit between the sermons.  

الطبراني:٢٠٠٣حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ الْعَبَّاسِ الْأَصْبَهَانِيُّ ثنا سَهْلُ بْنُ عُثْمَانَ ثنا يَحْيَى بْنُ زَكَرِيَّا بْنِ أَبِي زَائِدَةَ حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي عَنْ سِمَاكِ بْنِ حَرْبٍ عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ سَمُرَةَ قَالَ

«كَانَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ يَقُومُ عَلَى الْمِنْبَرِ فَيَخْطُبُ ثُمَّ يَجْلِسُ ثُمَّ يَقُومُ فَيَخْطُبُ يَجْلِسُ بَيْنَ الْخُطْبَتَيْنِ»

«كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ يَخْطُبُ عَلَى الْمِنْبَرِ ثُمَّ يَجْلِسُ ثُمَّ يَقُومُ فَيَخْطُبُ فَيَجْلِسُ بَيْنَ الْخُطْبَتَيْنِ يَقْرَأُ مِنْ كِتَابِ اللَّهِ وَيُذَكِّرُ النَّاسَ»
