tabarani:185 – Isḥāq b. Ibrāhīm al-Dabarī > ʿAbd al-Razzāq > Isrāʾīl > ʿAbd al-Aʿlá > Muḥammad b. al-Ḥanafiyyah > ʿAlī

It was narrated from Muhammad bin ʿAli, from ʿAli ؓ , that the Prophet ﷺ used to fast continually from pre-dawn to pre-dawn. (Using translation from Aḥmad 1195)  

الطبراني:١٨٥ – حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ الدَّبَرِيُّ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّزَّاقِ عَنْ إِسْرَائِيلَ عَنْ عَبْدِ الْأَعْلَى عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ الْحَنَفِيَّةِ عَنْ عَلِيٍّ ؓ

«أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ كَانَ يُوَاصِلُ مِنْ سَحَرٍ إِلَى سَحَرٍ»
