[Machine] 'Ali Abdullah asked me, "Do you know who 'Huffad' are?" I replied, "Yes, they are the descendants of a man from his children and his grandchildren." He said, "No, they are the sons-in-law."
[Machine] I was holding Abdullah accountable for the Quran, and we came across this verse: "And He made for you from your wives sons and grandchildren." So Abdullah said to me, "Do you know what grandchildren are?" I said, feeling shy. He replied, "No, they are the sisters' children."
[Machine] In his saying "{He had sons and daughters}," he said "The sisters are the daughters of the paternal uncle."
[Machine] "Indeed, Allah supports religion through the corrupt person."
[Machine] "Narrated by Abdullah: 'And how many prophets fought along with their Lord's followers? Many.'"
[Machine] "Bribery in judgment is disbelief and it is corruption among people."
[Machine] Abdullah said, "Our Lord, whoever has brought this upon us, increase his punishment twofold in the Fire." He said, "Snakes and scorpions."
[Machine] In his saying "{زِدْنَاهُمْ عَذَابًا فَوْقَ الْعَذَابِ}", he said, "Increase their punishment with the extension of their fangs, like the long palm tree."
[Machine] In His saying, "We will increase their punishment above the punishment," He said, "The fangs of the scorpion are like long palm branches."
[Machine] In His statement, blessed and exalted be He {So they will meet with a calamity}, He said, "A valley in Hell."
[Machine] "The ghayy is a river in Hell in which those who follow their desires are thrown into."
[Machine] From Abdullah regarding his saying "So they will meet a darkness," he said, "It is a valley in hell, far in depth, with a foul feeding."
[Machine] Abdullah said regarding the statement "So they will meet with punishment": "There is a river in Hell called Ghayy."
[Machine] "Woe to the backbiter and slanderer in the Hellfire of scorching water."
[Machine] "Abdullah reported that the Prophet ﷺ said, 'Women should not display their beauty except what appears of it, such as their clothing.'"
[Machine] "From Abdullah, 'And do not display their adornment except that which appears thereof.' He said, 'Adornments include earrings, nose rings, anklets, and necklaces.'"
[Machine] From Abdullah in his statement {and they should not reveal their adornment}, he said, "The adornment is the bracelet, anklet, bangle, manners, earring, necklace, and what appears of clothing and outer garment."
[Machine] About Abdullah's statement in "they put their hands in their mouths," he said, "They bit their fingers in anger."
[Machine] From Abdullah with regards to his statement "And there is none of you except that he will come to it," he said, "The path."
[Machine] Abdullah said about the statement {The fire will scorch their faces, and they will be grimacing in it}: "Have you not seen their heads, which are terrifying, with their teeth exposed and their lips shriveled?"
[Machine] Regarding this verse "They will be encircled by what they were stingy with on the Day of Judgment," he said, "A bold person with a bald head will have his head pecked."
[Machine] Whoever possesses wealth and does not give his zakat, a collar will be put around his neck on the Day of Resurrection, and he will be a coward who constantly beats his head, saying, "I am the wealth that you were stingy with." "They will be surrounded by what they were stingy with on the Day of Resurrection."
مَنْ كَانَ لَهُ مَالٌ لَمْ يُؤَدِّ زَكَاتَهُ طُوِّقَهُ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ شُجَاعًا أَقْرَعَ يُنْقُرُ رَأْسَهُ يَقُولُ أَنَا مَالُكَ الَّذِي كُنْتَ تَبْخَلُ بِهِ {سَيُطَوَّقُونَ مَا بَخِلُوا بِهِ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ}
[Machine] His wealth comes as a snake that bites its own tail, he says, "I am your wealth that you have been stingy with," and he is strangled by it.
[Machine] About Abdullah, in reference to the saying of Allah, "They will be encircled by what they were stingy with on the Day of Resurrection." He said, a brave man with a bald head will be encircled with two grapes dangling from it. He will tap his head and say, "What is this for me and you?" And it will be said, "I am what you were stingy with."
[Machine] "Regarding his saying, 'They will be encircled with what they were stingy with on the Day of Judgment,' he said, 'A brave one will be consumed by his defeat.'"
[Machine] "Allah says, 'Establish the prayer at the decline of the sun.'"
اللهُ ﷻ {أَقِمِ الصَّلَاةَ لِدُلُوكِ الشَّمْسِ}
[Machine] The setting of the sun, the Arabs say when the sun sets, when the sun declines, a breeze blows.
[Machine] Its translation into English is: "Its face is its sunset."
[Machine] Abdullah prayed Maghrib (sunset prayer), and when he finished, we began looking around. He asked, "Why are you looking around?" We said, "We see that the sun is still rising." He said, "By Allah, this is the time of this prayer." Then he recited, "Establish prayer from the decline of the sun until the darkness of the night." So, this is the decline of the sun, and this is the darkness of the night.
[Machine] Abdullah prayed one day and a man looked to see if the sun had set. Abdullah said, "What are you looking at? By Allah, there is no deity except Him, the time for this prayer is when Allah says, 'Establish the prayer from the decline of the sun until the darkness of the night.'" So this is the decline of the sun, and this is the darkness of the night.
[Machine] We were with Abdullah when he finished and he said, "By the One besides whom there is no deity, this is the time for this prayer to be performed wherever the sun sets."
[Machine] "This, by Allah, there is no deity worthy of worship except Him, wherever the sun sets and the time of prayer arrives."
[Machine] Abdullah used to say that the guards are being replaced by the Angels of Allah, the guardian of the night and the guardian of the day, at the break of dawn. And recite if you wish, "And recite the Qur'an at dawn, indeed the recitation of dawn is witnessed."
كَانَ عَبْدُ اللهِ يَقُولُ يَتَدَارَكُ الْحَرَسَانِ مِنْ مَلَائِكَةِ اللهِ حَارِسُ اللَّيْلِ وَحَارِسُ النَّهَارِ عِنْدَ طُلُوعِ الْفَجْرِ وَاقْرَءُوا إِنْ شِئْتُمْ {وَقُرْآنَ الْفَجْرِ إِنَّ قُرْآنَ الْفَجْرِ كَانَ مَشْهُودًا}
[Machine] We were with Abdullah on the way to Mecca. When the sun set, he said, "This is the dusk of the night." Then the call to prayer was given, and he said, "By Allah, there is no god but Him, it is time for this prayer."
