[Machine] We entered upon Hasan in his severe pain that afflicted him, and a man said to him, "Indeed, I mourn for you for what I see." So he said to him, "O brother, do not do so, for by Allah, if he loves it for me, then He loves it for Allah, and He has said, 'Whatever strikes you of disaster - it is for what your hands have earned; but He pardons much.'" This is what my hands have earned, then my Lord's forgiveness will come to me afterwards for what remains.

[Machine] On the authority of Sabrah ibn Ma'bad, the companion of the Prophet ﷺ , he said: "A group of people gathered at Muawiyah's place. He asked each one of them to narrate the noble traits and virtues of their tribes. They spoke until the conversation reached a young man from Juhaynah. He started to narrate a story but was unable to complete it. Imran ibn al-Husayn turned to him and said, 'Go ahead and tell us the entire story, O brother of Juhaynah.' I bear witness that I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ saying, 'Juhaynah is from me, and I am from them. They become angry for my anger and are pleased with my pleasure. I become angry for their anger and am pleased with their pleasure. Whoever angers them has angered me, and whoever angers me has angered Allah.' Muawiyah ibn Abu Sufyan then said, 'You have lied! This hadith speaks only about the Quraysh.'"

[Machine] I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ saying, "Looking at Ali is an act of worship."
سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ «النَّظَرُ إِلَى عَلِيٍّ ؓ عِبَادَةٌ»
[Machine] When it was the day of conquest, Khuzay'ah killed a man from Quraysh named Al-Harith. So I went to the Prophet ﷺ and informed him. He said, "Did they kill him in violation of the treaty or after its expiration?" They replied, "After its expiration." He then said, "We have fulfilled our duty" and we went to the Prophet ﷺ and informed him. He accepted our reasoning, and it was the first instance of reasoning in Islam.

[Machine] A man from this tribe killed a man from the tribe Khuzāʿah during the pre-Islamic period. He (the man from Khuzāʿah) remained hidden (in hiding). When the day of victory (conquest) came and the call (to prayer) was made, he (the man from Khuzāʿah) appeared. A man from Khuzāʿah met him and slaughtered him like a sheep. The news of this incident was brought to the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ . He asked, "Did he kill him before the call (to prayer) or after the call (to prayer)?" They replied, "He killed him after the call (to prayer)." The Prophet ﷺ said, "If I were a believer fighting against a disbeliever, I would have killed him with him. But remove his brain." So they removed his brain. This (incident) was the first instance of removing the brain that occurred in Islam.

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «أَقَلُّ سَاكِنِي الْجَنَّةِ النِّسَاءُ»
[Machine] The Prophet ﷺ once spent two consecutive days with me, then he slowed down his visits, either because he disliked it or because it bothered him. I witnessed, just as the companions of the Prophet ﷺ witnessed, and I heard, just as they heard, them narrating to us Hadiths that were not exactly as they said. And I knew what they omitted from the truth or from goodness, so I feared that they would describe to me in the same way they described to others. Sometimes he would say, "If I were to claim that I heard from the Messenger of Allah ﷺ such and such, then I would be considered truthful." And sometimes he would stand up and say, "The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said such and such."
