19.3.58 Subsection
١٩۔٣۔٥٨ أَبُو صَالِحٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ
[Machine] The Prophet of Allah, ﷺ , said, "It is better for a person to give his brother his land as a gift than to charge him a known rental fee for it."
أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ «لِأَنْ يَمْنَحَ الرَّجُلُ أَخَاهُ أَرْضَهُ خَيْرٌ لَهُ مِنْ أَنْ يَأْخُذَ عَلَيْهَا خَرْجًا مَعْلُومًا»
[Machine] The Prophet ﷺ once said on earth, "Giving it as a gift to your brother is better than collecting rent for it."
أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ فِي الْأَرْضِ قَالَ «تَمْنَحُها أَخَاكَ خَيْرٌ مِنْ أَنْ تَأْخُذَ عَلَيْهَا خَرَاجًا»
[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "It is better for one of you to give his brother a gift, and there is no prohibition on disliking it."
قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «لِأَنْ يَمْنَحَهَا أَحَدُكُمْ أَخَاهُ خَيْرٌ لَهُ» وَلَمْ يَنْهَ عَنْ كِراها
[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "It is better for a man to cultivate a relationship with his brother than to take a tax from him."
قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «لِأَنْ يُزْرِعَ الرَّجُلُ أَخَاهُ خَيْرٌ لَهُ مِنْ أَنْ يَأْخُذَ عَلَيْهَا خَرَاجًا»
[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "The people of Medina will migrate from Dhul-Hulayfah, the people of Sham from Juhefah, the people of Yemen from Yalamlam, and the people of Najd from Qarn."
قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «يُهِلُّ أَهْلُ الْمَدِينَةِ مِنْ ذِي الْحُلَيْفَةِ وَأَهْلُ الشَّامِ مِنَ الْجُحْفَةِ وَأَهْلُ الْيَمَنِ مِنْ يَلَمْلَمَ وَأَهْلُ نَجْدٍ مِنْ قَرْنٍ»
[Machine] A man came to the Prophet ﷺ and said, "O Messenger of Allah, I became intimate with my wife before performing ghusl, and I was attracted to her anklet that she wore yesterday." The Prophet ﷺ said, "Did Allah not say, '{Before they touch one another}?' Hold back until you perform ghusl."
جَاءَ رَجُلٌ إِلَى النَّبِيِّ ﷺ فَقَالَ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ إِنِّي ظَاهَرْتُ مِنَ امْرَأَتِي وَإِنَّهَا أَعْجَبَنِي خَلْخَالُهَا الْبَارِحَةَ فَوَقَعْتُ عَلَيْهَا قَبْلَ أَنْ أُكَفِّرَ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ أَوَلَمْ يَقُلِ اللهُ ﷻ {مِنْ قَبْلِ أَنْ يَتَمَاسَّا} أَمْسِكْ حَتَّى تُكَفِّرَ
[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ prohibited wearing silk, but there is no harm in wearing cotton or linen fabric.
«إِنَّمَا نَهَى رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ عَنْ مُصْمَتِ الْحَرِيرِ وَأَمَّا مَا كَانَ سَدَاةَ قُطْنٍ أَوْ كَتَّانٍ فَلَا بَأْسَ بِهِ»
[Machine] The Prophet ﷺ took in his hand a piece of gold and a piece of silk and said, "Verily, these two are forbidden for the males of my Ummah and permissible for their females."
أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ أَخْرَجَ فِي يَدِهِ قِطْعَةً مِنْ ذَهَبٍ وَقِطْعَةً مِنْ حَرِيرٍ فَقَالَ «إِنَّ هَذَيْنِ حُرِّمَا عَلَى ذُكُورِ أُمَّتِي وَحَلَّا لِإِنَاثِهِمْ»
[Machine] The first person to openly declare Islam was Umar ibn Al-Khattab.
«أَوَّلُ مَنْ جَهَرَ بِالْإِسْلَامِ عُمَرُ بْنُ الْخَطَّابِ ؓ »
[Machine] "That the Prophet ﷺ said, 'If I am alive until the next year, I will definitely fast on the ninth day.'"
أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ قَالَ «لَئِنْ بَقِيَتُ إِلَى قَابِلٍ لَأَصُومَنَّ التَّاسِعَ»
[Machine] About the Prophet ﷺ and he said, "It is not permissible for a believing Muslim who believes in Allah and the Last Day to continue with his abandonment of his parents."
عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ وقَالَ «لَا يَحِلُّ لِامْرِئٍ مُسْلِمٍ يُؤْمِنُ بِاللهِ وَالْيَوْمِ الْآخِرِ يَرْجِعُ فِي هِبَتِهِ إِلَّا الْوَالِدَ»
[Machine] I asked the Messenger of Allah ﷺ , I said: A group of Muslims attacked a tribe of polytheists, so they fought them and killed their sons. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "They are with their fathers."
سَأَلْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قُلْتُ خَيْلٌ مِنَ الْمُسْلِمِينَ وَقَعَتْ عَلَى قَوْمٍ مِنَ الْمُشْرِكِينَ فَقَاتَلُوهُمْ وَقَتَلُوا أَبْنَاءَهُمْ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «هُمْ مَعَ آبَائِهِمْ»
[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "No expenditure is dearer to Allah than the one on the day of Eid when the sacrificial animal is slaughtered."
قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «مَا أُنْفِقَتُ الْوَرِقُ فِي شَيْءٍ أَحَبَّ إِلَى اللهِ مِنْ نَحيرٍ يُنْحَرُ فِي يَوْمِ عِيدٍ»
the Messenger of Allah said: “There is nothing like marriage, for two who love one another.” (Using translation from Ibn Mājah 1847)
قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «لَمْ يُرَ لِلْمُتَحَابَّيْنِ مِثْلُ النِّكَاحِ»
[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said in his sermon, "Verily, he guides to the best of manners, and indeed, he repels their evil."
أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ فِي خُطْبَتِهِ «إِنَّمَا يَهْدِي إِلَى أَحْسَنِ الْأَخْلَاقِ وَإِنَّمَا يَصْرِفُ سَيِّئَهَا هُوَ»
[Machine] A man gifted a camel to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ , and he rewarded him for it. He asked, "Are you satisfied?" He replied, "No," so he increased in reward and asked again, "Are you satisfied?" He replied, "No," so he increased again and asked, "Are you satisfied?" He replied, "Yes." The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Indeed, I have always intended not to take a gift except from my Ansar, Quraysh, or Thaqafi supporters."
وَهْبَ رَجُلٌ لِرَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ نَاقَةً فَأَثَابَهُ عَلَيْهَا فَقَالَ «رَضِيتَ؟» قَالَ لَا فَزَادَهُ فَقَالَ «رَضِيتَ؟» قَالَ لَا فَزَادَهُ قَالَ «رَضِيتَ؟» قَالَ نَعَمْ قَالَ «لَقَدْ هَمَمْتُ أَنْ لَا أَتَّهِبَ هِبَةً إِلَّا مِنْ أَنْصَارِيٍّ أَوْ قُرَشِيٍّ أَوْ ثَقَفِيٍّ»
[Machine] The Messenger of Allah, ﷺ , said, "Adhere to your calmness, for emigration has ceased, but there is still Jihad and intention. And when you are summoned, then go forth."
قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «أَقِرُّوا عَلَى سكينتِكُمْ فَقَدِ انْقَطَعَتِ الْهِجْرَةُ وَلَكِنْ جِهَادٌ وَنِيَّةٌ وَإِذَا اسْتُنْفِرْتُمْ فَانْفِرُوا»
[Machine] A man said to the Messenger of Allah, "Shall we act according to what has been decreed and rely on it, or should we depend on something we strive for?" He said, "No, rather act according to what has been decreed, for the pens have dried." He said, "Then what is the point of striving?" He said, "Act, for everyone will be facilitated (in their actions)."
رَجُلٌ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ أَنَعْمَلُ فِيمَا جَرَتْ بِهِ الْمَقَادِيرُ وَجَفَّ بِهِ الْقَلَمُ أَوْ شَيْءٌ نَأْتَنِفُهُ؟ قَالَ «بَلْ لِمَا جَرَتْ بِهِ الْمَقَادِيرُ وَجَفَّ بِهِ الْقَلَمُ» قَالَ فَفِيمَ الْعَمَلُ؟ قَالَ «اعْمَلْ فَكُلٌّ مُيَسَّرٌ»
[Machine] It is reported that the Prophet ﷺ used to recite Surah Alif Lam Mim Tanzil and a Surah from the Mufassal in the Fajr prayer on Fridays, and perhaps he said, "Has there come upon man... "
أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ كَانَ يَقْرَأُ فِي صَلَاةِ الْفَجْرِ يَوْمَ الْجُمُعَةِ بِسُورَةِ الْم تَنْزِيلُ وَسُورَةٍ مِنَ الْمُفَصَّلِ وَرُبَّمَا قَالَ {هَلْ أَتَى عَلَى الْإِنْسَانِ}
[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Fulfill the obligatory duties with your wealth, and whatever is left of the obligatory duties should be given priority to be mentioned."
قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «أَلْحِقُوا الْفَرَائِضَ بِالْمَالِ فَمَا أَبْقَتِ الْفَرَائِضُ فَلِأَوْلَى ذَكَرٍ»
The Prophet ﷺ said: Divide the property among those whose share have been prescribed in the Book of Allah, and what remains from the prescribed shares goes to the nearest male heirs. (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 2898)
قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «اقْسِمِ الْمَالَ بَيْنِ أَهْلِ الْفَرَائِضِ عَلَى كِتَابِ اللهِ فَمَا تَرَكَتِ الْفَرَائِضُ فَلِأَوْلَى رَجُلٍ ذَكَرٍ»
[Machine] The Messenger of Allah, ﷺ , said: "Connect the obligatory actions with the Book of Allah, and whatever I have not mentioned, refer to the person who is most knowledgeable."
قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «أَلْحِقُوا الْفَرَائِضَ بِكِتَابِ اللهِ فَمَا تَرَكْتُ فَلِأَوْلَى رَجُلٍ ذَكَرٍ»
The Prophet ﷺ said, "Give the Fara'id (the shares of the inheritance that are prescribed in the Qur'an) to those who are entitled to receive it. Then whatever remains, should be given to the closest male relative of the deceased ." (Using translation from Bukhārī 6732)
أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ «أَلْحِقُوا الْفَرَائِضَ بِأَهْلِهَا فَمَا بَقِي فَلِأَوْلَى رَجُلٍ ذَكَرٍ»
The influence of an evil eye is a fact; if anything would precede the destiny it would be the influence of an evil eye, and when you are asked to take bath (as a cure) from the influence of an evil eye, you should take bath. (Using translation from Muslim 2188)
عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ «الْعَيْنُ حَقٌّ وَلَوْ كَانَ شَيْءٌ يَسْبِقُ الْقَدَرَ لَسَبَقَتْهُ الْعَيْنُ وَإِذَا اسْتُغْسِلْتُمْ فَاغْتَسِلُوا»
[Machine] They used to see the Umrah during the months of Hajj, amidst wickedness in the land. They used to call the month of Muharram "Safar" and they would say: When the tail is healed and the trace is forgiven and the Safar is stripped, the Umrah is allowed for the one who performed it.
كَانُوا يَرَوْنَ الْعُمْرَةَ فِي أَشْهُرِ الْحَجِّ مِنْ أَفْجَرِ الْفُجُورِ فِي الْأَرْضِ وَكَانُوا يُسَمُّونَ الْمُحَرَّمَ صَفَرًا وَيَقُولُونَ إِذَا بَرَأَ الدَّبَرْ وَعَفَا الْأَثَرْ وَسَلَخَ صَفَرْ حَلَّتِ الْعُمْرَةُ لِمَنِ اعْتَمَرْ
[Machine] And by Allah, the Messenger of Allah ﷺ did not perform Umrah with Aisha in Dhu al-Hijjah except to refute the statements of the polytheists. For this place is from Quraish, and whoever criticizes their religion, they used to say, "When the Yam (a type of fly) urinates and the donkey's tail is raised, then the Umrah is considered. So they used to prohibit Umrah until Dhu al-Hijjah and Muharram would pass. And by Allah, the Messenger of Allah ﷺ did not perform Umrah with Aisha except to fulfill their statement.
وَاللهِ مَا اعْتَمَرَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ عَائِشَةَ فِي ذِي الْحِجَّةِ إِلَّا لِيَقْطَعَ بِذَلِكَ مِنْ قَوْلِ أَهْلِ الشِّرْكِ فَإِنَّ هَذَا الْحَيَّ مِنْ قُرَيْشٍ وَمَنْ دَانَ دِينَهُمْ كَانُوا يَقُولُونَ إِذَا عَفَا الْوَبَرْ وَبَرَأَ الدَّبَرْ وَدَخَلَ صَفَرْ فَقَدْ حَلَّتِ الْعُمْرَةُ لِمَنِ اعْتَمَرْ فَكَانُوا يُحْرِمُونَ الْعُمْرَةَ حَتَّى يَنْسَلِخَ ذُو الْحِجَّةِ وَالْمُحَرَّمُ فَوَاللهِ «مَا أَعْمَرَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ عَائِشَةَ إِلَّا لِيَقْضِيَ ذَلِكَ مِنْ قَوْلِهِمُ»
The Prophet ﷺ was cupped and he paid the wages to the one who had cupped him and then took Su'ut (Medicine sniffed by nose). (Using translation from Bukhārī 5691)
أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ «احْتَجَمَ وَأَعْطَى الْحَجَّامَ أَجْرَهُ وَاسْتَعَطَ»
[Machine] It was narrated from the Prophet ﷺ that he was asked about slaughtering and shaving during the state of Ihram (pilgrim's attire) and whether it should be done before or after pursuing certain actions. He replied, "There is no harm in doing so."
عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ أَنَّهُ قِيلَ لَهُ فِي الذَّبْحِ وَالْحَلْقِ فِي التَّقْدِيمِ وَالتَّأْخِيرِ قَالَ «لَا حَرَجَ»
“The one who takes back his gift is like the dog that goes back to its vomit.” (Using translation from Ibn Mājah 2386)
عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ «الْعَائِدُ فِي هِبَتِهِ كَالْكَلْبِ يَعُودُ فِي قَيْئِهِ»
[Machine] "The Messenger of Allah, ﷺ , designated the time of arrival for the people of Madinah at Dhul-Hulayfah, for the people of Sham at Juhfah, for the people of Najd at Qarn, and for the people of Yemen at Yalamlam. And whoever arrives from wherever they come, intending to perform Hajj or Umrah, should enter the state of Ihram from their current location until the people of Makkah from Makkah."
«وَقَّتَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ لِأَهْلِ الْمَدِينَةِ ذَا الْحُلَيْفَةِ وَلِأَهْلِ الشَّامِ الْجُحْفَةَ وَلِأَهْلِ نَجْدٍ قَرْنًا وَلِأَهْلِ الْيَمَنِ يَلَمْلَمَ لِأَهْلِهِنَّ وَلِمَنْ يَأْتِي عَلَيْهِنَّ مِمَّنْ أَرَادَ الْحَجَّ وَالْعُمْرَةَ فَمَنْ كَانَ دُونَ ذَلِكَ فَمِنْ حَيْثُ أَنْشَأَ حَتَّى أَهْلُ مَكَّةَ مِنْ مَكَّةَ»
[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said about the saying of Allah (ﷻ): "So there is no sexual relations, nor disobedience, nor disputing during Hajj." He said that "Al-Rafath" refers to indecent speech and making advances towards women with sexual intercourse, and "Al-Fusuq" refers to all sins, and "Al-Jidal" refers to arguing and disputing with one's companion.
قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ فِي قَوْلِ اللهِ ﷻ {فَلَا رَفَثَ وَلَا فُسُوقَ وَلَا جِدَالَ فِي الْحَجِّ} قَالَ الرَّفَثُ الْإِعرابةُ وَالتَّعَرُّضُ لِلنِّسَاءِ بِالْجِمَاعِ وَالْفُسُوقُ الْمَعَاصِي كُلُّهَا وَالْجِدَالُ جِدَالُ الرَّجُلِ صَاحِبَهُ
Ibn ʿAbbas said, "Messenger of Allah ﷺ forbade the selling of foodstuff before its measuring and transferring into one's possession." I asked Ibn ʿAbbas, "How is that?" Ibn ʿAbbas replied, "It will be just like selling money for money, as the foodstuff has not been handed over to the first purchaser who is the present seller." (Using translation from Bukhārī 2132)
أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ «نَهَى أَنْ يَبِيعَ الرَّجُلُ طَعَامًا حَتَّى يَسْتَوْفِيَهُ»
Verily the people have begun to hasten in the matter in which they are required to observe respite. So if we had imposed this upon them, and he imposed it upon them. (Using translation from Muslim 1472a)
«كَانَ الطَّلَاقُ عَلَى عَهْدِ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ وَأَبِي بَكْرٍ وَسَنَتَيْنِ مِنْ خِلَافَةِ عُمَرَ طَلَاقُ الثَّلَاثِ وَاحِدَةً» فَقَالَ عُمَرُ إِنَّ النَّاسَ قَدِ اسْتَعْجَلُوا أَمْرًا كَانَتْ لَهُمْ فِيهِ أَنَاةٌ فَلَوْ أَمْضَيْنَاهُ عَلَيْهِمْ فَأَمْضَاهُ عَلَيْهِمْ
[Machine] "It was agreed upon during the time of the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ and Abu Bakr, and during the caliphate of Umar, that the three would be united as one." Ibn Abbas said, "Yes."
أَنَّهَا كَانَتِ الثَّلَاثُ تُجْعَلُ وَاحِدَةً عَلَى عَهْدِ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ وَأَبِي بَكْرٍ وَثَلَاثًا مِنْ إِمَارَةِ عُمَرَ» فَقَالَ ابْنُ عَبَّاسٍ «نَعَمْ»
[Machine] That the Prophet ﷺ married Maymunah while he was in a state of ihram.
أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ «نَكَحَ مَيْمُونَةَ وَهُوَ مُحْرِمٌ»
[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "I have been commanded to prostrate on seven bones, and not to fold the hair or clothes."
أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ «أُمِرْتُ أَنْ أَسْجُدَ عَلَى سَبْعَةِ أَعْظُمٍ وَلَا نَكُفَّ الشَّعْرَ وَلَا الثِّيَابَ»
[Machine] About entertainment, because they used to trade in the middle of the year."
عَنِ الْمُتْعَةِ لِأَنَّهُمْ كَانُوا يَتَّجِرُونَ فِي وَسَطِ السَّنَةِ»
[Machine] The Prophet ﷺ passed by a man who had applied henna and said, "How nice is this." Then he passed by another man who had applied henna and katam and said, "How nice is this."Then he passed by another man who had applied yellow dye and said, "This is better than all of it." And Tawus used to apply yellow dye.
أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ مَرَّ عَلَيْهِ رَجُلٌ قَدْ خَضَبَ بِالْحِنَّاءِ فَقَالَ «مَا أَحْسَنَ هَذَا» ثُمَّ مَرَّ عَلَيْهِ آخَرُ وَقَدْ خَضَبَ بِالْحِنَّاءِ وَالْكَتَمِ فَقَالَ «مَا أَحْسَنَ هَذَا» ثُمَّ مَرَّ عَلَيْهِ آخَرُ وَقَدْ خَضَبَ بِالصُّفْرَةِ فَقَالَ «هَذَا أَحْسَنُ مِنْ هَذَا كُلِّهِ» وَكَانَ طَاوُسٌ يَخْضِبُ بِالصُّفْرَةِ
The riders (carrying merchandise) should not be met in the way, and townsman should not sell for a man of the desert. The narrator reported. I said to Ibn 'Abbas: What do these words really imply-" The townsman for the man of the desert"? He said: That he should work as a broker on his behalf. (Using translation from Muslim 1521)
«نَهَى رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ أَنْ يُتَلَقَّى الرُّكْبَانُ وَأَنْ يَبِيعَ حَاضِرٌ لِبَادٍ»
«أَوَّلُ مَنْ أَسْلَمَ عَلِيٌّ ؓ »
[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Whoever hurts the feelings of Muslims, Muslims who are in a united and integrated Islamic society, has indeed removed the bond of Islam from their own neck."
قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «مَنْ شَقَّ عَصا الْمُسْلِمِينَ وَالْمُسْلِمُونَ فِي إِسْلَامٍ دامجٍ فَقَدْ خَلَعَ رِبْقَةَ الْإِسْلَامِ مِنْ عُنُقِهِ»
[Machine] The Messenger of Allah said, "The worst of houses is the bathroom, where voices are raised and private parts are exposed." A man said, "O Messenger of Allah, the sick are healed in it and filth is removed in it." The Messenger of Allah said, "Whoever enters it should not enter it except while being covered."
قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «شَرُّ الْبَيْتِ الْحَمَّامُ يَعْلُو فِيهِ الْأَصْوَاتُ وَيُكْشَفُ فِيهِ الْعَوْرَاتُ» فَقَالَ رَجُلٌ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ يُدَاوَى فِيهِ الْمَرِيضُ وَيَذْهَبُ فِيهِ الْوَسَخُ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «فَمَنْ دَخَلَهُ فَلَا يَدْخُلْهُ إِلَّا مُسْتَتِرًا»
[Machine] The Prophet ﷺ mentioned wine and a man said, "O Messenger of Allah, we make a drink from this juice." The Prophet ﷺ said, "Every intoxicant is forbidden."
أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ ذَكَرَ الْخَمْرَ فَقَالَ رَجُلٌ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ إِنَّا نَتَّخِذُ شَرَابًا مِنْ هَذَا الْمِزْرِ فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ «كُلُّ مُسْكِرٍ حَرَامٌ»
[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: It is not permissible for one to be naked in public or wear tight, revealing clothing. Beware of these practices.
قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ لَا يَجُوزُ فِي الْبُدْنِ الْعَوْرَاءُ وَالْعَجْفَاءُ وَإِيَّاكُمْ وَالْمُصْطَلَحَةَ
[Machine] The Prophet ﷺ was given some game meat, but he returned it and said, "We are forbidden to eat it."
لَقَدْ أُهْدِي إِلَى النَّبِيِّ ﷺ لَحْمُ صَيْدٍ فَرَدَّهُ وَقَالَ «إِنَّا حُرُمٌ»
[Machine] The Prophet ﷺ entered the mosque on Friday and saw a man standing in the sun without seeking shade. The Prophet ﷺ asked, "What is wrong with him?" They said, "He vowed to stand without seeking shade or breaking his fast." The Prophet ﷺ said, "Tell him to sit, seek shade, and break his fast."
أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ دَخَلَ الْمَسْجِدَ يَوْمَ الْجُمُعَةِ فَإِذَا هُوَ بِأَبِي إِسْرَائِيلَ قَائِمًا فِي الشَّمْسِ وَلَا يَسْتَظِلُّ فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ «مَا لَهُ؟» قَالُوا نَذَرَ أَنْ يَقُومَ وَلَا يَسْتَظِلَّ وَلَا يُفْطِرَ قَالَ «مُرُوهُ فَلْيَجْلِسْ وَلْيَسْتَظِلَّ وَلْيُفْطِرْ»
[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ and his companions arrived for the fourth dawn prayer, preparing for the pilgrimage. He commanded them to make it a lesser pilgrimage (Umrah). This amazed them, and they asked, "O Messenger of Allah, which kind of Umrah?" He said, "All kinds of Umrah."
قَدِمَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ وَأَصْحَابُهُ لِصَبِيحَةِ رَابِعَةٍ مُهِلِّينَ بِالْحَجِّ فَأَمَرَهُمْ أَنْ يَجْعَلُوهَا عُمْرَةً فَتَعَاظَمَ ذَلِكَ عِنْدَهُمْ فَقَالُوا يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ أَيُّ الْحِلُّ؟ قَالَ «الْحِلُّ كُلُّهُ»
[Machine] The Messenger of Allah, ﷺ , said, "Beware of a house called 'Al-Hammam'." They said, "O Messenger of Allah, it takes away sickness and benefits the patient." He said, "So whoever enters it should cover themselves."
قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «اتَّقُوا بَيْتًا يُقَالُ لَهُ الْحَمَّامُ» فَقَالُوا يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ يَذْهَبُ بِالدَّرَنِ وَيَنْفَعُ الْمَرِيضَ قَالَ «فَمَنْ دَخَلَهُ فَلْيَسْتَتِرْ»
[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "There is no vow except in what Allah is obeyed in, and there is no vow in cutting off ties of kinship, or divorce, or freeing a slave in that which one does not possess."
قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «لَا نَذْرَ إِلَّا فِيمَا أُطِيعَ اللهُ فِيهِ وَلَا نَذْرَ فِي قَطِيعَةِ رَحِمٍ وَلَا طَلَاقَ وَلَا عَتَاقَ فِيمَا لَا يَمْلِكُ»
[Machine] I saw the Messenger of Allah ﷺ praying in a khameesah.
رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ «يُصَلِّي فِي خَمِيصَةٍ»
