[Machine] I asked the Messenger of Allah ﷺ , I said: A group of Muslims attacked a tribe of polytheists, so they fought them and killed their sons. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "They are with their fathers."  

الطبراني:١٠٨٩٣ – حَدَّثَنَا بَكْرُ بْنُ سَهْلٍ ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَبِي السَّرِيِّ الْعَسْقَلَانِيُّ ثنا مُعْتَمِرُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ أَبِي إِسْمَاعِيلَ عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ دِينَارٍ عَنْ طَاوُسٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ ؓ قَالَ

سَأَلْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قُلْتُ خَيْلٌ مِنَ الْمُسْلِمِينَ وَقَعَتْ عَلَى قَوْمٍ مِنَ الْمُشْرِكِينَ فَقَاتَلُوهُمْ وَقَتَلُوا أَبْنَاءَهُمْ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «هُمْ مَعَ آبَائِهِمْ»
