19.3.257 Subsection
١٩۔٣۔٢٥٧ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ زَيْدٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ
[Machine] The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ used to spend the night in Dhu al-Hulayfah, and when he prayed Fajr (dawn prayer), he would sit on his mount and face in that direction.
«كَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ يَبِيتُ بِذِي الْحُلَيْفَةِ فَإِذَا صَلَّى الْفَجْرَ قَعَدَ عَلَى رَاحِلَتِهِ فَلَبَّى»
[Machine] That the Messenger of Allah ﷺ did not prostrate on the day of Al-Yadayn.
أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ «لَمْ يَسْجُدْ يَوْمَ ذِي الْيَدَيْنِ»
"The Messenger of Allah said: 'If a dog licks the vessel of anyone of you, let him wash it seven times.'" (Using translation from Ibn Mājah 366)
قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «إِذَا وَلَغَ الْكَلْبُ فِي إِنَاءِ أَحَدِكُمْ فَلْيَغْسِلْهِ سَبْعَ مَرَّاتٍ»
[Machine] "The Prophet ﷺ recited the Quran in Mecca, and the people prostrated with him. To the extent that a man would raise something from the ground to his forehead, and he would prostrate on it. And even to the extent that a man would prostrate on another man."
أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ «قَرَأَ النَّجْمَ بِمَكَّةَ فَسَجَدَ النَّاسُ مَعَهُ حَتَّى إِنَّ الرَّجُلَ لَيَرْفَعُ إِلَى جَبْهَتِهِ شَيْئًا مِنَ الْأَرْضِ فَيَسْجُدُ عَلَيْهِ وَحَتَّى يَسْجُدَ الرَّجُلُ عَلَى الرَّجُلِ»
[Machine] "From the Prophet, ﷺ , that he said, 'There is no surah, whether small or large, except that I have heard the Messenger of Allah, ﷺ , recite it in its entirety during prayer.'"
عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ أَنَّهُ قَالَ «مَا مِنْ سُورَةٍ فِي الْمُفَصَّلِ صَغِيرَةٍ وَلَا كَبِيرَةٍ إِلَّا قَدْ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقْرَؤُهَا فِي الصَّلَاةِ كُلِّهَا»
[Machine] Amr ibn Hashim Abu Malik al-Janbi narrated to us, from Ubaidullah ibn Umar, from Nafi, from Ibn Umar, that a woman used to borrow jewelry during the time of the Prophet ﷺ and then hold onto it. The Prophet ﷺ said, "Let the woman repent to Allah and His Messenger ﷺ and return what she has." And she was listening. Then the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Stand up, O so-and-so, take her hand, and cut it off."
حَدَّثَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ هَاشِمٍ أَبُو مَالِكٍ الْجَنْبِيُّ عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ عَنْ نَافِعٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ أَنَّ امْرَأَةً كَانَتْ تَسْتَعِيرُ الْحُلِيَّ فِي زَمَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ ثُمَّ تُمْسِكُهُ فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ «لِتَتُبِ الْمَرْأَةُ إِلَى اللهِ ﷻ وَإِلَى رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ وَلْتَرُدَّ مَا عِنْدَهَا» وَهِيَ تَسْمَعُ ثُمَّ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «قُمْ يَا فُلَانُ فَخُذْ بِيَدِهَا فَاقْطَعْهَا»
[Machine] I heard Ibn Umar say, while I was sitting with the Prophet ﷺ, a man came and greeted him and then left. So I said, "O Messenger of Allah, I swear by Allah, I love that man." He said, "Did you inform him?" I said, "No." He said, "Then go and inform him that you love him for the sake of Allah." So I went to him and greeted him, then I took hold of his shoulder and said, "I swear by Allah, I love you for the sake of Allah." He replied, "May Allah love you too." Then I said, "If the Prophet ﷺ did not command me to inform you, I would not have done so."
سَمِعْتُ ابْنَ عُمَرَ يَقُولُ بَيْنَمَا أَنَا جَالِسٌ عِنْدَ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ إِذْ جَاءَ رَجُلٌ فَسَلَّمَ عَلَيْهِ ثُمَّ وَلَّى عَنْهُ فَقُلْتُ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ وَاللهِ إِنِّي لَأُحِبُّ هَذَا قَالَ «هَلْ أَعْلَمْتَهُ؟» قُلْتُ لَا قَالَ «فَأَعْلِمْ ذَاكَ أَخَاكَ» فَأَتَيْتُهُ فَسَلَّمْتُ عَلَيْهِ فَأَخَذْتُ بِمَنْكِبِهِ وَقُلْتُ وَاللهِ إِنِّي لَأُحِبُّكَ فِي اللهِ وَقَالَ هُوَ وَأَنَا أُحِبُّكَ لِلَّهِ وَقُلْتُ لَوْلَا أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ أَمَرَنِي أَنْ أُعَلِّمَكَ لَمْ أَفْعَلْ
Make haste to observe the witr prayer before morning. (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 1436)
أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ قَالَ «بَادِرُوا الصُّبْحَ بِالْوِتْرِ»
[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ advanced between the horses and advanced the wound to the extreme.
أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ سَبَّقَ بَيْنَ الْخَيْلِ وَسَبَّقَ الْقُرَّحَ فِي الْغَايَةِ
[Machine] "We were growing on the killer until it descended." "Indeed, Allah does not forgive association with Him but forgives what is less than that for whom He wills."
«كُنَّا نَبِتُّ عَلَى الْقَاتِلِ حَتَّى نَزَلَتْ» {إِنَّ اللهَ لَا يَغْفِرُ أَنْ يُشْرَكَ بِهِ وَيَغْفِرُ مَا دُونَ ذَلِكَ لِمَنْ يَشَاءُ}
[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "The one who prepares is from the third."
قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «الْمُدَبَّرُ مِنَ الثُّلُثِ»
[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Tayammum is two strikes; one strike on the face and one strike on the hands up to the elbows."
قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «التَّيَمُّمُ ضَرْبَتَانِ ضَرْبَةٌ لِلْوَجْهِ وَضَرْبَةٌ لِلْيَدَيْنِ إِلَى الْمِرْفَقَيْنِ»
[Machine] "We ate a lizard in the presence of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, and he found it repulsive. And we refrain from what the Messenger of Allah ﷺ finds repulsive."
«أُكِلَ عِنْدَ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ ضَبٌّ فَقَذَرَهُ» وَنَحْنُ نَقْذُرُ مَا قَذَرَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ
[Machine] It was said to the Prophet ﷺ when he was in Al-'Aqiq, "Indeed, you are in the blessed valley or the blessed plain."
أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ قِيلَ لَهُ وَهُوَ بِالْعَقِيقِ «إِنَّكَ بِالْوَادِي الْمُبَارَكِ أَوْ بِبَطْحَاءَ مُبَارَكَةٍ»
[Machine] My uncle Uthman ibn Maz'un sent me to bring him a blanket. So, I went to the Prophet ﷺ and sought his permission while he was in the trench. He gave me permission and asked me who I had met. I said to them, "Indeed, the Messenger of Allah ﷺ orders you to return." And this was during severe cold. So, I went out and met the people and said to them, "Indeed, the Messenger of Allah ﷺ orders you to return." They said, "No, by Allah, he did not show any kindness to me, neither two nor one person."
بَعَثَنِي خَالِي عُثْمَانُ بْنُ مَظْعُونَ لِآتِيَهُ بِلُحَافٍ فَأَتَيْتُ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ فَاسْتَأْذَنْتُهُ وَهُوَ بَالْخَنْدَقِ فَأَذِنَ لِي وَقَالَ لِي مَنْ لَقِيتَ فَقُلْ لَهُمْ إِنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَأْمُرُكُمْ أَنْ تَرْجِعُوا وَكَانَ ذَلِكَ فِي بَرْدٍ شَدِيدٍ فَخَرَجْتُ فَلَقِيتُ النَّاسَ فَقُلْتُ لَهُمْ إِنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَأْمُرُكُمْ أَنْ تَرْجِعُوا قَالَ فَلَا وَاللهِ مَا عَطَفَ عَلَيَّ اثْنَانِ أَوْ وَاحِدٌ
[Machine] It was said to Ibn Umar, "Where did the Messenger of Allah ﷺ pray on the Day of the Clans?" He said, "He prayed in the belly of the valley near a ruin there. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ called the people to dismiss them and then he commanded me to invite them, so I invited them."
قِيلَ لِابْنِ عُمَرَ أَيْنَ كَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ يُصَلِّي يَوْمَ الْأَحْزَابِ؟ قَالَ «كَانَ يُصَلِّي فِي بَطْنِ الشِّعْبِ عِنْدَ خَرِبَةٍ هُنَاكَ وَلَقَدْ أَذِنَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ فِي الِانْصِرَافِ لِلنَّاسِ ثُمَّ أَمَرَنِي أَنْ أَدْعُوَهُمْ فَدَعَوْتُهُمْ»
[Machine] When the Messenger of Allah ﷺ would return from a journey, he would pass by Fadfad or Nashaz and make the takbir three times, then he would say: "There is no god but Allah alone, with no partner. His is the dominion and His is the praise, and He is Able to do all things." Then he would say: "We are returning, repenting, worshiping, prostrating to our Lord, praising Him." Allah has fulfilled His promise, assisted His servant, and defeated the confederates alone."
كَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ إِذَا قَفَلَ مِنْ سَفَرٍ فَمَرَّ بِفَدْفَدٍ أَوْ نَشَزٍ كَبَّرَ ثَلَاثًا ثُمَّ قَالَ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللهُ وَحْدَهُ لَا شَرِيكَ لَهُ لَهُ الْمُلْكُ وَلَهُ الْحَمْدُ وَهُوَ عَلَى كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيرٌ ثُمَّ يَقُولُ آيِبُونَ تَائِبُونَ عَابِدُونَ سَاجِدُونَ لِرَبِّنَا حَامِدُونَ صَدَقَ اللهُ وَعْدَهُ وَنَصَرَ عَبْدَهُ وَهَزَمَ الْأَحْزَابَ وَحْدَهُ
In the time of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ an army got food and honey and a fifth was not taken from them. (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 2701)
«أَنَّ جَيْشًا غَنِمُوا زَمَانَ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ طَعَامًا وَعَسَلًا فَلَمْ يُؤْخَذْ مِنْهُمُ الْخُمُسُ»
[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "Let one of you pray in his own mosque and not go around looking for other mosques."
قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «لِيُصَلِّ أَحَدُكُمْ فِي مَسْجِدِهِ وَلَا يَتَتَبَّعِ الْمَسَاجِدَ»
[Machine] Ibn Umar reported that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "The most beloved names to Allah are Abdullah (servant of Allah) and Abdur Rahman (servant of the Most Merciful)."
ثنا عُبَيْدُ اللهِ وَعَبْدُ اللهِ ابْنَا عُمَرَ عَنْ نَافِعٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «أَحَبُّ أَسْمَائِكُمْ إِلَى اللهِ ﷻ عَبْدُ اللهِ وَعَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ»
[Machine] "There is no prohibition on a woman except on her face."
«لَيْسَ عَلَى الْمَرْأَةِ حُرُمٌ إِلَّا فِي وَجْهِهَا»
[Machine] "The Prophet ﷺ protected the cloak for the people of charity."
«حِمَى النَّبِيِّ ﷺ الرَّبَذَةَ لِأَهْلِ الصَّدَقَةِ»
[Machine] The Prophet ﷺ was asked about ablution after washing, so he said, "Which ablution is more comprehensive than washing?"
أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ سُئِلَ عَنِ الْوُضُوءِ بَعْدَ الْغُسْلِ فَقَالَ «وَأَيُّ وُضُوءٍ أَعَمُّ مِنَ الْغُسْلِ؟»
[Machine] The Prophet ﷺ said, "Perform ablution from that which changes the fire."
أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ قَالَ «تَوَضَّؤُوا مِمَّا غَيَّرَتِ النَّارُ»
[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Indeed, Bilal calls the Adhan at night, so continue eating and drinking until the Adhan of Ibn Umm Maktum." And it is claimed that when Bilal went down (to call the Adhan), Ibn Umm Maktum would call the Adhan.
أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ «إِنَّ بِلَالًا يُؤَذِّنُ بِلَيْلٍ فَكُلُوا وَاشْرَبُوا حَتَّى يُؤَذِّنَ ابْنُ أُمِّ مَكْتُومٍ» وَزَعَمَ أَنَّ بِلَالًا كَانَ يُؤَذِّنُ فَإِذَا نَزَلَ بِلَالٌ أَذَّنَ ابْنُ أُمِّ مَكْتُومٍ
[Machine] The Prophet ﷺ recited in the Maghrib prayer, "Those who disbelieved and averted [people] from the way of Allah."
أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ قَرَأَ فِي الْمَغْرِبِ بِ {الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا وَصَدُّوا عَنْ سَبِيلِ اللهِ}
[Machine] That the Messenger of Allah ﷺ went out from the mosque to Safa from the door of Bani Makhzum.
أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ خَرَجَ مِنَ الْمَسْجِدِ إِلَى الصَّفَا مِنْ بَابِ بَنِي مَخْزُومٍ
[Machine] That the Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to go to the al-Jabban walking and return walking, and so did Abu Bakr and Umar.
«أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ كَانَ يَذْهَبُ إِلَى الْجَبَّانِ مَاشِيًا وَيَرْجِعُ مَاشِيًا وَأَبُو بَكْرٍ وَعُمَرُ»
[Machine] Abu Bakr As-Siddiq received something from Umar, then he said, "Seek forgiveness for me, O my brother." This made Umar angry, and he said the same thing to him repeatedly, which made Umar even angrier. Abu Bakr mentioned this incident to the Prophet ﷺ, and they went to him and sat down. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Your brother asks you to seek forgiveness for him, so do not do so." Abu Bakr swore, "By the One who sent you with the truth as a Prophet, every time he asks me I seek forgiveness for him." Then he said, "There is no creation of Allah after you who is dearer to me than him." Abu Bakr said, "And by the One who sent you with the truth, there is no one after you dearer to me than him." The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Do not hurt me with regard to my companion. Verily, Allah has sent me with guidance and the true religion. You said, 'You have lied,' and Abu Bakr said, 'You have spoken the truth.' If Allah had not named him my companion, I would not have taken him as a close friend. But the brotherhood of Allah is sufficient. So calm down, every fruit has gone bad except the fruit of the son of Abu Quhafa."
أَنَّ أَبَا بَكْرٍ الصِّدِّيقَ نَالَ مِنْ عُمَرَ شَيْئًا ثُمَّ قَالَ اسْتَغْفِرْ لِي يَا أَخِي فَغَضِبَ عُمَرُ فَقَالَ لَهُ ذَلِكَ مِرَارًا فَغَضِبَ عُمَرُ فَذَكَرَ ذَلِكَ لِلنَّبِيِّ ﷺ وَانَتْهَوْا إِلَيْهِ وَجَلَسُوا فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «يَسْأَلُكَ أَخُوكَ أَنْ تَسْتَغْفِرَ لَهُ فَلَا تَفْعَلُ» فَقَالَ وَالَّذِي بَعَثَكَ بِالْحَقِّ نَبِيًّا مَا مِنْ مَرَّةٍ يَسْأَلُنِي إِلَّا وَأَنَا أَسْتَغْفِرُ لَهُ وَمَا مِنْ خَلْقِ اللهِ بَعْدَكَ أَحَدٌ أَحَبُّ إِلَيَّ مِنْهُ فَقَالَ أَبُو بَكْرٍ وَأَنَا والذي بعثك بالحق مَا مِنْ أَحَدٌ بَعْدَكَ أَحَبُّ إِلَيَّ مِنْهُ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ لَا تُؤْذُونِي فِي صَاحِبِي فَإِنَّ اللهَ ﷻ بَعَثَنِي بِالْهُدَى وَدِينِ الْحَقِّ فَقُلْتُمْ كَذَبْتَ وَقَالَ أَبُو بَكْرٍ صَدَقْتَ وَلَوْلَا أَنَّ اللهَ ﷻ سَمَّاهُ صَاحِبًا لَاتَّخَذْتُهُ خَلِيلًا وَلَكِنْ أُخُوَّةُ اللهِ أَلَا فَسُدُّوا كُلَّ خَوْخَةٍ إِلَّا خَوْخَةَ ابْنِ أَبِي قُحَافَةَ
[Machine] I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ bid farewell to someone who was leaving, then Abdullah said, "I entrust Allah with your trust, your religion, and the end of your deeds."
سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يُوَدِّعُ مَنْ خَرَجَ ثُمَّ قَالَ عَبْدُ اللهِ «أَسْتَوْدِعُ اللهَ أَمَانَتَكَ وَدِينَكَ وَخَوَاتِيمَ عَمَلِكَ»
[Machine] That the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Intercession is valid as long as the limits (of punishments) have not been established. When the limits are established, there is no intercession."
أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ «الشُّفْعَةُ فِيمَا لَمْ تَقَعِ الْحُدُودُ فَإِذَا وَقَعَتِ الْحُدُودُ فَلَا شُفْعَةَ»
[Machine] When the Messenger of Allah ﷺ received the leaders, he said, "A person does not find anything within himself except that I take it as a sign from Gabriel, ﷺ ."
لَمَّا أَخَذَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ النُّقَبَاءَ قَالَ «لَا يَجِدَنَّ امْرُؤٌ فِي نَفْسِهِ شَيْئًا إِنَّمَا آخُذُ مَنْ أَشَارَ إِلَيْهِ جِبْرِيلُ عَلَيْهِ السَّلَامُ»
‘It is not an act of righteousness to fast while traveling.” (Using translation from Ibn Mājah 1664)
قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «لَيْسَ مِنَ الْبِرِّ الصِّيَامُ فِي السَّفَرِ»
[Machine] "The Messenger of Allah, ﷺ , determined the timings for their own people, as well as for those who came to perform Hajj and Umrah. He also determined the timings for the people of Madinah, specifically Dhu al-Hulayfah, the people of Ash-Sham, specifically al-Juhfah, and the people of Najd, specifically Qarn."
«وَقَّتَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ الْمَوَاقِيتَ لِأَهْلِهَا وَلِمَنْ أَتَى عَلَيْهَا مِمَّنْ أَرَادَ الْحَجَّ وَالْعُمْرَةَ لِأَهْلِ الْمَدِينَةِ ذَا الْحُلَيْفَةِ وَلِأَهْلِ الشَّامِ الْجُحْفَةَ وَلِأَهْلِ نَجْدٍ قَرْنَ»
The Prophet ﷺ said: ʿWere it not that it would be too difficult for the ummah, I would have commanded them to use the siwak at the time of every prayer.” (Using translation from Aḥmad 607)
قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «لَوْلَا أَنْ أَشُقَّ عَلَى أُمَّتِي لَأَمَرْتُهُمْ بِالسِّوَاكِ عِنْدَ كُلِّ صَلَاةٍ»
[Machine] That the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "O Allah, bless my Ummah in its early morning."
أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ «اللهُمَّ بَارِكْ لِأُمَّتِي فِي بُكُورِهَا»
[Machine] "We used to say during the time of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ , who would be the most deserving of this matter? And we would say Abu Bakr. Then we would say, what if Abu Bakr passed away, who would be the most deserving of this matter? And we would say Umar ibn Al-Khattab. Then we would say, what if Umar ibn Al-Khattab passed away, who would be the most deserving of this matter? And we would say Uthman."
كُنَّا نَقُولُ فِي عَهْدِ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ مَنْ يَكُونُ أَوْلَى النَّاسِ بِهَذَا الْأَمْرِ؟ فَنَقُولُ أَبُو بَكْرٍ ثُمَّ نَقُولُ أَرَأَيْتُمْ إِنْ قُبِضَ أَبُو بَكْرٍ مَنْ يَكُونُ أَوْلَى النَّاسِ بِهَذَا الْأَمْرِ؟ فَنَقُولُ عُمَرُ بْنُ الْخَطَّابِ ثُمَّ نَقُولُ أَرَأَيْتُمْ إِنْ قُبِضَ عُمَرُ بْنُ الْخَطَّابِ مَنْ يَكُونُ أَوْلَى النَّاسِ بِهَذَا الْأَمْرِ؟ فَنَقُولُ عُثْمَانُ
[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said while on the pulpit, "Whoever attends the Friday prayer should perform ablution."
قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ وَهُوَ عَلَى الْمِنْبَرِ «مَنْ أَتَى الْجُمُعَةَ فَلْيَغْتَسِلْ»
"Whoever performs Hajj to the House, then let the last of their acts be at the House, except for menstruating women. The Messenger of Allah gave them permission (to leave)." (Sahih Mawquf) (Using translation from Tirmidhī 944)
«مَنْ حَجَّ فَلْيَكُنْ آخِرُ عَهْدِهِ بِالْبَيْتِ إِلَّا الْحُيَّضَ رَخَّصَ لَهُنَّ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ»
[Machine] The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ said, "The prayer of fear is performed by the Imam and a group of people with him. They all prostrate together in one prostration. There is another group between them and the enemy. Then those who prostrated with their leader leave, taking the place of those who did not perform the prayer. Then those who did not perform the prayer come forward and pray with their leader, performing one prostration. Then their leader leaves after completing his prayer, and each person from the two groups performs one prostration for their own prayer. If the fear is more intense, then men and riders perform one prostration, meaning one unit of prayer."
قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «صَلَاةُ الْخَوْفِ يَقُومُ الْإِمَامُ وَطَائِفَةٌ مِنَ النَّاسِ مَعَهُ فَيَسْجُدُونَ سَجْدَةً وَاحِدَةً وَتَكُونُ طَائِفَةٌ بَيْنَهُمْ وَبَيْنَ الْعَدُوِّ ثُمَّ يَنْصَرِفُ الَّذِينَ سَجَدُوا مَعَ أَمِيرِهِمْ فَيَكُونُ مَكَانُ الَّذِينَ لَمْ يُصَلُّوا وَيَتَقَدَّمُ الَّذِينَ لَمْ يُصَلُّوا فَيُصَلُّونَ مَعَ أَمِيرِهِمْ سَجْدَةً وَاحِدَةً ثُمَّ يَنْصَرِفُ أَمِيرُهُمْ وَقَدْ قَضَى صَلَاتَهُ وَيُصَلِّي كُلُّ وَاحِدَةٍ مِنَ الطَّائِفَتَيْنِ لِصَلَاتِهِ سَجْدَةً لِنَفْسِهِ فَإِنْ كَانَ خَوْفًا أَشَدَّ مِنْ ذَلِكَ فَرِجَالًا وَرُكْبَانًا يَعْنِي بِالسَّجْدَةِ رَكْعَةً »
[Machine] That the Prophet ﷺ used to recite in Maghrib prayer the Surah Al-Kafirun (Chapter of Disbelievers) and the Surah Al-Ikhlas (Chapter of Sincerity), saying "Say: O Disbelievers" and "Say: He is Allah, the One."
أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ كَانَ يَقْرَأُ فِي الْمَغْرِبِ بِ قُلْ يَا أَيُّهَا الْكَافِرُونَ وَقُلْ هُوَ اللهُ أَحَدٌ
[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to give a sermon on Fridays, with a pause between them.
كَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «يَخْطُبُ يَوْمَ الْجُمُعَةِ مَرَّتَيْنِ بَيْنَهُمَا جَلْسَةٌ»
[Machine] "The Messenger of Allah instructed the payment of Zakat al-Fitr from every free Muslim, slave, young, and old, in the amount of one saa' of dates or one saa' of barley."
«أَمَرَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ بِزَكَاةِ الْفِطْرِ عَلَى كُلِّ مُسْلِمٍ حُرٍّ وَعَبْدٍ وَصَغِيرٍ وَكَبِيرٍ صَاعٌ مِنْ تَمْرٍ أَوْ صَاعٌ مِنْ شَعِيرٍ»
[Machine] "That the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, 'Verily, Allah contracts the heavens with His right hand and grips the earths with His hand. I reckon it,' he said, indicating with his other hand, 'and then He will say, 'I am the King.'"
أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ إِنَّ اللهَ يَقْبِضُ السَّمَاوَاتِ بِيَمِينِهِ وَالْأَرَضِينَ بِيَدِهِ أَحْسَبُهُ قَالَ الْأُخْرَى ثُمَّ يَقُولُ أَنَا الْمَلِكُ
[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ performed cupping while he was fasting and he paid the cupper his fee; if it was prohibited, he would not have paid him.
«احْتَجَمَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ وَهُوَ صَائِمٌ وَأَعْطَى الْحَجَّامَ أَجْرَهُ وَلَوْ كَانَ حَرَامًا لَمْ يُعْطِهِ»
[Machine] "That the Prophet ﷺ wore a ring and put it on his right hand."
«أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ اتَّخَذَ خَاتَمًا وَلَبِسَهُ فِي يَمِينِهِ»
The Prophet ﷺ said: "Allahumma sqina (O Allah, give us rain)." (Using translation from Nasāʾī 1516)
أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ قَالَ «اللهُمَّ اسْقِنَا»
[Machine] About the Prophet ﷺ it is reported that he "did not see any harm in women wearing clothes made of silk or using perfume."
عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ أَنَّهُ «لَمْ يَكُنْ يَرَى بَأْسًا بِالْقَزِّ وَالْحَرِيرِ لِلنِّسَاءِ»
[Machine] The Prophet ﷺ said, "Fasting while traveling is not considered an act of righteousness."
عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ «لَيْسَ مِنَ الْبِرِّ الصَّوْمُ فِي السَّفَرِ»
«أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ صَلَّى إِلَى بَعِيرٍ»
