[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ appointed one of his slaves from the Banu Bayadah tribe to collect his charity and gave him his due even though it was prohibited to do so.
«احْتَجَمَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ حَجَمَهُ مَوْلًى لِبَنِي بَيَاضَةَ وَأَعْطَاهُ أَجْرَهُ وَلَوْ كَانَ حَرَامًا لَمْ يُعْطِهِ إِيَّاهُ»

[Machine] "I stood beside the Prophet ﷺ to his left, and he turned me away and placed me on his right."
«قُمْتُ إِلَى جَنْبِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ إِلَى شِمَالِهِ فَأَدَارَنِي فَجَعَلَنِي عَنْ يَمِينِهِ»

[Machine] A questioner asked Ibn Abbas about prayer. Ibn Abbas said to him, "O questioner, do you testify that there is no god but Allah?" He said, "Yes." Ibn Abbas asked, "And do you perform the five prayers?" He said, "Yes." Ibn Abbas asked, "And do you fast in Ramadan?" He said, "Yes." Ibn Abbas said, "It is our duty to provide you with clothing," so he took off a garment and gave it to him. Then Ibn Abbas said, "At that moment, I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ saying, 'Whichever Muslim clothes another Muslim, Allah will continue to protect what remains of his garment."
[Machine] The Prophet of Allah said, "I will send a man whom Allah will not disgrace." So he sent 'Ali while he was grinding flour at the mill, and none of you are to grind, so they brought him Armand. He said, "O Prophet of Allah, I can hardly see," so he spat in his eyes and shook the flag three times, then handed it to him. It opened for him, and he brought Saffiyyah the daughter of Huyayy. Then he said to his cousins, "Which of you will support me in this world and the Hereafter three times?" until he passed by the last one, 'Ali said, "O Prophet of Allah, I am your supporter in this world and the Hereafter." The Prophet said, "You are my supporter in this world and the Hereafter." He sent Abu Bakr with the Surah of Repentance and sent 'Ali on his way. Abu Bakr said to him, "O 'Ali, perhaps Allah and His Prophet will be angry with me." 'Ali said, "No, rather the Prophet of Allah said, 'No one should convey from me except a man from among me and I from him.'" The Prophet put his cloak over 'Ali, Fatimah, al-Hasan and al-Husayn, and said, "Verily, Allah wants to remove impurity from you, O people of the household, and to purify you with a thorough purification." And he was the first person to embrace Islam after Khadijah. He sold himself and wore the Prophet's cloak, then he stood in his place. He said, "The polytheists were throwing rocks at the Messenger of Allah, so Abu Bakr came and said to me, 'O Messenger of Allah, and Abu Bakr considers him to be the Prophet of Allah?' 'Ali said. 'The Prophet of Allah has gone towards the well of Maymunah, so catch up with him.' Abu Bakr went and went with him to the cave, and 'Ali began throwing stones just as the Messenger of Allah used to throw them, while he was wrapping his head in a garment which he would not remove until morning. Then he uncovered his head when morning came. They said, 'You are vile, your companion is being stoned and you are throwing stones and he does not throw stones, and you are wrapping your head and he is uncovering his head, we detest that.' Then he led the people in the Tabuk expedition. 'Ali said, 'Shall I go out with you?' The Prophet said, 'No.' 'Ali wept, and the Prophet of Allah said to him, 'Are you pleased to be to me as Harun was to Musa, except that you are not a Prophet? It is not right for me to go unless you are my caliph.'" He said to him, "You are the Wali of every believer after me." And the Messenger of Allah blocked the doors of the mosque except for the door of 'Ali so that he entered the mosque in a state of janabah, and it is the path he takes, and he said, "Whom I am a supporter of, then 'Ali is his supporter." Ibn 'Abbas said, "Allah has informed us in the Qur'an that He has been pleased with them, about the people of the tree. He knows what is in their hearts. Did He inform us that He was angry with them after that?" He said, "The Prophet of Allah said to 'Umar when he said, 'May I strike his neck,' meaning Al-Hatib. 'Ali said, 'Were you about to do it? What do you know? Perhaps Allah says, "Take whatever you want" aloud,' looking at the people of Badr."

[Machine] A man from the Banu 'Amir came to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ. He was a healer and a physician, so he said, "O Muhammad, you utter certain words. Can I heal you?" The Messenger of Allah ﷺ then called him to Allah ﷻ and asked, "Would you like me to show you a sign?" He had some date-palms and a tree with him, so the Messenger of Allah ﷺ called forth a stalk from it. The man approached him while he was prostrating and raising his head until he reached him. Then he stood in front of him and the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said to him, "Return to your place." So he returned to his place. Al-'Amiri swore, "By Allah, I will never deny what you say." Then he said, "O people of Banu Sa'sa'a, by Allah, I will never deny anything he says."

Ali said, "Let him in and make him stand behind the curtain, and he can hand us the water." So we let him in and he handed us the water. Ali said, "By Allah, whenever I would turn it, there would be someone else turning it with me." He said, "I also heard in the house, 'Do not take off his shirt.'"

[Machine] Have you seen the one who killed a believer intentionally, and then he repented, believed, and did righteous deeds? Then he was guided and said, "How can he have repentance when I have heard your Prophet ﷺ say: 'The closest of people to the Throne of the Most Merciful on the Day of Resurrection will be the believer who was killed unjustly, his head tilted to his right, and his killer to his left, and blood pouring from his wounds, saying, 'My Lord, ask him why he killed me? What was the reason between me and the prayer?'"

He came to him and said, "O Messenger of Allah, we live in a rural area and we have a portion of dates, so he ordered us to make a drink from it." He then said, "Sprinkle it in the pots but not in the big jar, the ceramic jar, the water cooler, or the spotted jar, for I have forbidden intoxicants, gambling, the Kuba drum, and every intoxicating thing is forbidden." They said, "O Messenger of Allah, what if it gets stronger?" He said, "Then pour water on it." They said, "O Messenger of Allah, what if it gets even stronger?" He said, "Then pour water on it." In the third or fourth round, he said, "Then throw it away."

And I am the best among the people of the right. Then He divided these two groups into houses, and He made me among the best of them, the house of the people of the right. That is His saying, 'So what is the people of the right? And what is the people of the left? And the foremost of the foremost?' So I am among the best of the foremost. Then He made the houses into tribes, and He made me among the best of them, a tribe. That is His saying, 'Nations and tribes.' So I am the most righteous and honorable of the children of Adam in the sight of Allah, and there is no arrogance in that. Then He made the tribes into houses, and He made me among the best of them, a house. That is His saying, 'Indeed, Allah wants to remove impurity from you, O people of the household, and purify you with thorough purification.'"

[Machine] I traveled with Ibn Abbas from Madinah to Sham and I asked him, "What was the advice that the Prophet ﷺ left behind?" He said, "When the Prophet ﷺ was sick with the illness that he eventually passed away in, he was in the house of Aisha and he said, 'Call Ali.' Aisha said, 'Shouldn't we call Abu Bakr, O Messenger of Allah?' He said, 'Call him.' Then Hafsa said, 'Shouldn't we call Umar?' He said, 'Call him.' Then Umm al-Fadl said, 'Shouldn't we call Abbas, your uncle?' He said, 'Call him.' When they all came, he raised his head and did not see Ali. He remained silent and did not speak. Umar said, 'Everyone should leave the presence of the Prophet ﷺ. If he had any need for us, he would have mentioned it until then, three times.' Then he said, 'Let Abu Bakr lead the people in prayer.' Aisha said, 'Abu Bakr is present.' So Abu Bakr came forward to lead the people in prayer. The Prophet ﷺ saw him slightly weak and went to be supported between two men. When the people noticed, they began to glorify Allah, so Abu Bakr went back to delay the prayer. The Prophet ﷺ gestured to him indicating to stay in his place. The Prophet ﷺ began the prayer from where Abu Bakr had stopped reciting. Abu Bakr was still standing while the Prophet ﷺ was sitting. Then Abu Bakr brought the Prophet ﷺ forward and the people also brought Abu Bakr forward. The Prophet ﷺ did not complete the prayer until he became very heavy. He then went to be supported between two men and indeed his two feet were dragging on the ground. The Prophet ﷺ passed away and did not leave any final will.

[Machine] Ibn 'Abbas narrated that on the day of Khaybar, when the Messenger of Allah ﷺ conquered it, Muslim men had acquired women from the People of the Book who became their wives. So, when a man wanted to approach a woman from them, she would say, "I have a husband." The Messenger of Allah ﷺ was asked about this, and Allah ﷻ revealed this verse: {And [also prohibited to you are all] married women}, meaning the captives from the disbelievers. So, I mentioned this to Sa'id ibn Jubayr, and he said, "You spoke the truth."
[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Goodness quickly reaches the house in which food is served, more than a knife in the hump of a camel."
[Machine] My father informed me on the authority of his book that Muhammad ibn Yazid al-Wasiti narrated to me from Umar Abu Yahya from Juwaybir from ad-Dahhak from Ibn Abbas who said: "The Messenger of Allah ﷺ forbade killing every living creature with a spirit, unless it causes harm."
[Machine] Ibn Abbas said, regarding the saying of Allah, "And [remember] when the Prophet confided to one of his wives a statement" (Quran 66:3), Hafsah entered upon the Prophet ﷺ in her house while he was with Maria. So the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said to Hafsah, "Do not inform Aisha until I give you good news, for your father will succeed me after Abu Bakr when I die." So Hafsah went and informed Aisha that she had seen the Prophet ﷺ with Maria, and informed her that the Prophet ﷺ had informed her that her father, Abu Bakr, will succeed him and then Umar will succeed after him. Aisha said to the Prophet ﷺ , "Who informed you of this?" He replied, "The All-Knower, the Well-Acquainted [with all things] informed me." So Aisha said, "I will not look at you until you prohibit Maria." He then prohibited Maria, and Allah revealed, "O Prophet, why do you prohibit [yourself from] what Allah has made lawful for you" (Quran 66:1) without any revelation.
عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ فِي قَوْلِ اللهِ ﷻ {وَإِذْ أَسَرَّ النَّبِيُّ إِلَى بَعْضِ أَزْوَاجِهِ حَدِيثًا} قَالَ دَخَلَتْ حَفْصَةُ عَلَى النَّبِيِّ ﷺ فِي بَيْتِهَا وَهُوَ يَطَأُ مَارِيَةَ فَقَالَ لَهَا رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «لَا تُخْبِرِي عَائِشَةَ حَتَّى أُبَشِّرَكِ بِبِشَارَةٍ فَإِنَّ أَبَاكِ يَلِي مِنْ بَعْدِ أَبِي بَكْرٍ إِذَا أَنَا مِتُّ» فَذَهَبَتْ حَفْصَةُ فَأَخْبَرَتْ عَائِشَةَ أَنَّهَا رَأَتِ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ يَطَأُ مَارِيَةَ وَأَخْبَرَتْهَا أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ أَخْبَرَهَا أَنَّ أَبَا بَكْرٍ يَلِي بَعْدَ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ وَيَلِي عُمَرُ مِنْ بَعْدِهِ فَقَالَتْ عَائِشَةُ لِلنَّبِيِّ ﷺ مَنْ أَنْبَأَكَ هَذَا؟ قَالَ «نَبَّأَنِيَ الْعَلِيمُ الْخَبِيرُ» فَقَالَتْ عَائِشَةُ لَا أَنْظُرُ إِلَيْكَ حَتَّى تُحَرِّمَ مَارِيَةَ فَحَرَّمَهَا فَأَنْزَلَ اللهُ ﷻ {يَا أَيُّهَا النَّبِيُّ لِمَ تُحَرِّمُ}
