[Machine] "The engagement will be postponed for a year, if they agree to it. Otherwise, they will be separated and she will get the alimony."
[Machine] "Whoever divorces a player or marries a player, it is permissible."
[Machine] He used to say, "She is not allowed to have sexual intercourse with her husband until she marries someone else."
[Machine] God has prohibited twelve women for me, and I dislike twelve types of women along with their mothers and sisters. They include a woman that your father has had relations with, a woman that your son has had relations with, a woman who has committed adultery, a woman who is in mourning for someone other than you, a woman who has a husband, a woman who is your slave, a woman who is a non-believer, and your maternal aunt and paternal aunt through breastfeeding.
[Machine] That "he gave him wine in a green jar," said Abu Wail, "I have seen that jar."
[Machine] "I was throwing pebbles at Abdullah while he was looking at a green jar and drinking from it."
[Machine] "A man from the people said, 'Has it really been revealed like this?' So Abdullah said, 'Woe to you! I have indeed recited it to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ , and he said to me, "You have done well."' While he was talking, he smelled the odor of alcohol from him. So Abdullah said, 'Do you drink alcohol and deny the Quran? I will not stand until you are lashed with the punishment.'"
[Machine] A man had said, "The revelations did not come down like this." So, I approached him and sensed the smell of alcohol from him. I said, "Are you denying the truth while consuming impure substances? By Allah, the Messenger of Allah ﷺ recited it to me exactly like this. I will not leave you until I strike you with a punishment." So, he was struck by the punishment.
[Machine] Abdullah: "Indeed, Allah has not made your cure in what He has forbidden for you."
[Machine] A man from amongst us complained, so he was described with sorcery, so we came to Abdullah and asked him, so he said, "Verily Allah did not make your cure in that which He has forbidden for you."
[Machine] Ibn Mas'ud said, "Do not feed your children what is unlawful for them. Are you going to make them drink what is not permissible for them, while their sin is upon the one who gave it to them? Surely, Allah has not placed your cure in that which He has forbidden for you."
[Machine] Indeed, those who fall from the tops of the mountains and are devoured by the wild animals and drown in the seas are the martyrs in the sight of Allah.
[Machine] About a man who emancipated his slave when he was dying, and he had no wealth other than him and he had a debt. He said, "He should strive to pay off his debt."
[Machine] Indeed, a maid of mine nursed my son, and I want to sell her. Ibn Mas'ood disapproved, saying, "I wish they would call out to whoever I sell her to, 'Mother of my child!'"
[Machine] About it, its lord said, "If its owner comes and chooses it, then if he chooses the reward, it will be for him, and if he chooses his wealth, it will be for him." Ibn Mas'ud said, "This is how they should treat the found object." And the wording is from the narration of 'Abdul-Razzaq.
[Machine] Holding back in life is significant and squandering is regrettable at death.
[Machine] That one of you die and leave neither inheritance nor mercy. So what prevents him, if it is like that, from spending his wealth on the poor or the needy?"
[Machine] "Indeed, my uncle has recommended me his inheritance, and this is part of his inheritance. Shall I buy it?" He said, "No, and do not borrow anything from their money."
[Machine] "O Abu Abdur-Rahman, should I buy this horse?" He replied, "What is its condition?" The owner then advised me and said, "Do not buy it or borrow anything from its owner."
[Machine] "Stone, stick, whip, shove, push, and anything that you intended to cause harm with, it deserves retribution regarding blood money. It is wrong to throw something and cause harm."
[Machine] "That the foundation stone and staff are similar."
[Machine] Ali and Ibn Mas'ud said, "Exaggeration in a semi-deliberate form should not be killed by it."
The bloodwit for unintentional murder is in four parts: twenty five she-camels in their fourth year, twenty five she-camels in their fifth year, twenty five she-camels in their third year, and twenty twenty five she-camels in their second year. (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 4552)
“The blood money of one who killed by mistake is twenty Hiqqah (three-year-old she camels), twenty Jadha'ah (four year old she camels), twenty Bint Makhad (one year old she camel), twenty Bint Labun (two year old she camels), and twenty Bani Makhad (one year old she camels).” (Using translation from Ibn Mājah 2631)
[Machine] Ibn Masood said, "Every married couple has a dowry, and every individual has a dowry."
[Machine] "The two eyes are equal, and the two females are equal, and the fingers are equal, and the teeth are equal, and the hands are equal, and the two legs are equal."
[Machine] Regarding men and women, they are equal when it comes to five things: Ali said, "Half of everything."
[Machine] "In a man, he is pursued and then dies. He said, 'Regarding the one who has been compensated for his blood, then indeed his compensation for his wound will be deducted from it.'"
[Machine] "What do you say, 'Umar ibn Mas'ood, while he is next to him?" Ibn Mas'ood said, "I tell him that he has been saved from being killed." He then hit his shoulder and said, "How excellent a student filled with knowledge!"
[Machine] Ibn Mas'ud said, "The most virtuous among people are those who forgive the murderers of the people of faith."
[Machine] He said, "In every solemn treaty with a Magus or others, the religion is binding."
[Machine] Translation: A servant stole a cloak from another servant of mine. He asked, "Do you have any claim over some of it from the other?" He replied, "No, there is no ownership of part of it over the other."
[Machine] Regarding espionage, if it appears to us, it means that we establish it.
[Machine] "The hand should not be cut off except for a dinar or ten dirhams."
[Machine] Abdullah said, "The hand should not be cut off except in the case of a dinar or ten dirhams."
[Machine] Abdullah said, "Whoever kills a snake or a scorpion has killed a disbeliever." Al-Mas'udi did not mention this statement from his father.
[Machine] "Whoever kills a snake or a scorpion, he kills a disbeliever. Israel does not raise him, but a partner raises him."
The Prophet ﷺ said: Kill all the snakes, and he who fears their revenge does not belong to me. (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 5249)
[Machine] To the Muslim, there are six etiquettes to be observed towards another Muslim: greet them when you meet them, respond to their greeting when they greet you, say "bless you" when they sneeze, attend their funeral when they pass away, give them sincere advice in private, and love for them what you love for yourself. This is narrated by Abu Ja'far al-Farrah and Abu Ishaq al-Sabi'i.
[Machine] A time will come upon people when a man will come to a grave and say, "I wish I was in the place of its owner, for it is not without love for meeting with Allah, but it is because of what he sees of affliction."
[Machine] There will come a time when a man passes by a grave and says, "I wish I were in this place and not have the desire to meet Allah, but the severity of what he sees of calamities." Then it will be said, "What is better than that?" He replied, "A strong horse and a weapon that can protect a man wherever he goes."
[Machine] "Because a donkey covered in tar crowding with me is more beloved to me than a scented woman crowding with me."
[Machine] "That a man be filled with pus is better for him than to be filled with hair."
[Machine] "Abdullah said, 'Extract the Quran, do not mix it with what is not from it.'"
[Machine] "The first thing you will lose from your religion is trustworthiness, and the last thing you will lose from your religion is prayer."
[Machine] "The image is like the shape of the horn that is blown into."
