The bloodwit for unintentional murder is in four parts: twenty five she-camels in their fourth year, twenty five she-camels in their fifth year, twenty five she-camels in their third year, and twenty twenty five she-camels in their second year.  

عَبْدُ اللَّهِ فِي شِبْهِ الْعَمْدِ خَمْسٌ وَعِشْرُونَ حِقَّةً وَخَمْسٌ وَعِشْرُونَ جَذَعَةً وَخَمْسٌ وَعِشْرُونَ بَنَاتِ لَبُونٍ وَخَمْسٌ وَعِشْرُونَ بَنَاتِ مَخَاضٍ  

The bloodwit for what resembled intentional murder should be forty pregnant she-camels in their fifth year, thirty she-camels in their fourth year, and thirty she-camels in their third year. The bloodwit for unintentional murder is thirty she-camels in their fourth year, thirty she-camels in their third year, and twenty she-camels in their second year.  

عَلِيٌّ ؓ فِي الْخَطَإِ أَرْبَاعًا خَمْسٌ وَعِشْرُونَ حِقَّةً وَخَمْسٌ وَعِشْرُونَ جَذَعَةً وَخَمْسٌ وَعِشْرُونَ بَنَاتِ لَبُونٍ وَخَمْسٌ وَعِشْرُونَ بَنَاتِ مَخَاضٍ  

Yahya related to me from Malik that Ibn Shihab said, "The full blood-money for murder when it is accepted is twenty-five yearlings, twenty-five two-year-olds, twenty-five four-year-olds, and twenty-five five-year-olds."  

أَنَّ ابْنَ شِهَابٍ كَانَ يَقُولُ فِي دِيَةِ الْعَمْدِ إِذَا قُبِلَتْ خَمْسٌ وَعِشْرُونَ بِنْتَ مَخَاضٍ وَخَمْسٌ وَعِشْرُونَ بِنْتَ لَبُونٍ وَخَمْسٌ وَعِشْرُونَ حِقَّةً وَخَمْسُ وَعِشْرُونَ جَذَعَةً  

“The blood money of one who killed by mistake is twenty Hiqqah (three-year-old she camels), twenty Jadha'ah (four year old she camels), twenty Bint Makhad (one year old she camel), twenty Bint Labun (two year old she camels), and twenty Bani Makhad (one year old she camels).” (Using translation from Ibn Mājah 2631)   

«فِي الْخَطَأِ أَخْمَاسًا عِشْرُونَ حِقَّةً وَعِشْرُونَ جَذَعَةً وَعِشْرُونَ بَنَاتِ مَخَاضٍ وَعِشْرُونَ ابْنَ مَخَاضٍ وَعِشْرُونَ ابْنَةَ لَبُونٍ»  

The bloodwit for unintentional murder is in four parts: twenty five she-camels in their fourth year, twenty five she-camels in their fifth year, twenty five she-camels in their third year, and twenty twenty five she-camels in their second year. (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 4552)   

عَبْدُ اللهِ هُوَ ابْنُ مَسْعُودٍ ؓ فِي شِبْهِ الْعَمْدِ خَمْسٌ وَعِشْرُونَ حِقَّةً وَخَمْسٌ وَعِشْرُونَ جَذَعَةً وَخَمْسٌ وَعِشْرُونَ بَنَاتُ لَبُونٍ وَخَمْسٌ وَعِشْرُونَ بَنَاتِ مَخَاضٍ  

"دِيَةُ الخطإِ عشرون حِقَّةً، وعشرونَ جَذَعَةً، وعشرون بنتَ مخَاضٍ، وعشرون بناتِ لبون".  

"ديةُ المسلم مائةُ من الإِبل أرباعٌ، خمس وعشرون حِقة، وخمس وعشرون جذعةً، وخمس وعشرون بنتَ مخاض, وخمس وعشرون بنتَ لبون، فإِن لم يوجد بنتُ المخاض جعل مكانها بنو اللبون ذكورٌ".  

"عَنِ ابْنِ مَسْعُودٍ قَالَ: فِى شِبْه الْعَمْدِ خَمْسٌ وَعِشْرُونَ حِقَّة وَخَمْسٌ وَعِشْرُونَ جَذَعَةً، وَخَمْسٌ وَعِشْرُونَ بِنْت مَخَاض، وخَمْسٌ وَعِشْرُونَ بِنْت لَبُون، وَفِى الْعَمْدِ أَخْمَاسُ (*) عِشْرُونَ حِقَّة، وَعِشْرُونَ جَذَعَة، وَعِشْرُونَ بِنْت مَخَاض، وَعِشْرُونَ ابْن مَخَاض، وَعِشْرُونَ بِنْت لَبُون".  

"عَنْ علىٍّ قَالَ: فِى شِبْهِ العمدِ ثَلَاثٌ وثَلَاثُونَ حِقَّةً، وثَلَاثٌ وثَلاثُونَ جَذعَةً، وأَرْبَعٌ وثَلَاثُون مَا بَيْن ثَنِيَّةٍ (إِلَى عربى عامها) (* *) كُلُّهَا خَلِفَةٌ، وفِى الخطأ: خَمْسٌ وعِشْرُونَ حُقَّةً، وَخَمْسٌ وعِشْرونَ جَذَعَةً، وَخَمْسٌ وعِشْرُونَ بِنتَ مَخَاضٍ، وَخَمْسٌ وعِشْرُونَ بِنْتَ لَبُونٍ".  

"عَنْ عَاصِم بْنِ ضَمرةَ قَالَ: قَالَ عَلِيٌّ: الدِّيَةُ في الخَطأ أرْبَاعًا (*): خَمسٌ وَعِشرُونَ حِقَّةً وَخَمس وَعِشْرُونَ جَذَعَةً، وَخَمس وَعِشْرُونَ بَنَاتِ لَبُونٍ، وَخَمس وَعِشرُونَ بَنَاتِ مَخَاضٍ".
