ذِكْرُ الْإِخْبَارِ بِأَنَّ الشَّدِيدَ الَّذِي غَلَبَ نَفْسَهُ عِنْدَ الشَّهَوَاتِ وَالْوَسَاوِسِ، لَا مَنْ غَلَبَ النَّاسَ بِلِسَانِهِ

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "The strong person is not the one who can overpower others, rather the strong person is the one who can control their own desires."

ابن حبّان:٧١٧ – أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ أَبِي عَوْنٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا هَنَّادُ بْنُ السَّرِيِّ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الْأَحْوَصِ عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ مَسْرُوقٍ عَنْ أَبِي حَازِمٍ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ «لَيْسَ الشَّدِيدُ مَنْ غَلَبَ إِنَّمَا الشَّدِيدُ مَنْ غَلَبَ نَفْسَهُ»
