السيوطي:٤٣٠-١٣٢bعَنِ ابْنِ مَسْعُودٍ قَالَ

"إِنَّ الْقُرْآنَ أُنزلَ عَلَى نَبِيِّكُمْ مِنْ سَبْعَة أَبْوابٍ عَلَى سَبْعَةِ أَحْرُفٍ، وَإِنَّ الكتَابَ قَبْلَكُمْ كَانَ يَنْزلُ منْ بَابٍ وَاحِدٍ عَلَى حَرْفٍ وَاحِدٍ".
