al-Hasan and al-Husayn are the Prophet’s ﷺ two fragrant flowers
A man from the people of Iraq asked Ibn Umar ᴿᴬ about ˹a ruling on˺ the blood of mosquitoes that gets on a garment. Ibn Umar ᴿᴬ said: Look at this one: he asks about the blood of mosquitoes, while they have killed the son of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ! I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say: "Indeed, al-Hasan and al-Husayn are my two fragrant flowers from this world."
