"مَنْ سَبَقَ إِلَى مَا لَمْ يَسبقْ إِلَيهِ مُسْلِمٌ فَهُوَ لَهُ".  

[د] أبو داود وابن سعد، والبغوي، والباوردي، [طب] الطبرانى في الكبير [ق] البيهقى في السنن [ض] ضياء المقدسي في مختاره عن أُم جندب بنت نميلة عن أُمها سويدة بنت جابر عن أُمها عقيلة بنت أَسمر بنت مضرس عن أَبيها، قال البغوي: لا أَعلم بهذا الإسناد حديثًا غير هذا

I came to the Prophet ﷺ, and took the oath of allegiance to him. He said: If anyone reaches a water which has not been approached before by any Muslim, it belongs to him. The people, therefore, went out running and marking (on the land). (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 3071)

أَتَيْتُ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ فَبَايَعْتُهُ فَقَالَ «مَنْ سَبَقَ إِلَى مَا لَمْ يَسْبِقْ إِلَيْهِ مُسْلِمٌ فَهُوَ لَهُ» فَخَرَجَ النَّاسُ يَتَعَادُّونَ يَتَخَاطُّونَ
