قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ مَنْ حَلَفَ فَاسْتَثْنَى فَإِنْ شَاءَ رَجَعَ وَإِنْ شَاءَ تَرَكَ غَيْرَ حِنْثٍ
"Whoever swears an oath and says: 'If Allah wills', then if he wishes he may go ahead, and if he wishes he may not, without having broken his oath."
عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ مَنْ حَلَفَ فَاسْتَثْنَى فَإِنْ شَاءَ مَضَى وَإِنْ شَاءَ تَرَكَ غَيْرَ حَنِثٍ
"Whoever swears an oath and says In sha' Allah, if he wishes he may go ahead and if he wishes he may not, without having broken his oath."

[AI] From the Prophet ﷺ, he said: Whoever takes an oath and specifies a condition, then if he wishes to fulfill his oath, he may do so, and if he wishes to nullify it, he may do so without any sin.

[AI] On the authority of the Prophet ﷺ , he said: "Whoever swears an oath and makes an exception, he has the option to fulfill his oath or revoke it without any sin or distress."
