"I heard Abu Humaid and Abu Usaid say: 'The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "When any one of you enters the Masjid, let him say: 'Allahumma aftahli abwaba rahmatik (O Allah, open to me the gates of your mercy). And when he leaves let him say: Allahumma inni as'aluka min fadlik (O Allah, I ask You of Your bounty).'"  

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ إِذَا دَخَلَ أَحَدُكُمُ الْمَسْجِدَ فَلْيَقُلِ اللَّهُمَّ افْتَحْ لِي أَبْوَابَ رَحْمَتِكَ وَإِذَا خَرَجَ فَلْيَقُلِ اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ مِنْ فَضْلِكَ  

"When Messenger of Allah entered the Masjid he said Salat and Salam upon Muhammad and then said: (Rabbighfirli dhunubi, waftahli abwaba rahmatik) 'O pardon my sins, and open the gates of Your mercy for me.' And when he exited he said Salat and Salam upon Muhammad, and then said: (Rabbighfirli dunubi, waftahli abwaba rakmatik) 'O Lord pardon my sins, and open the gates of Your blessings for me.'"  

كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ إِذَا دَخَلَ الْمَسْجِدَ صَلَّى عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وَسَلَّمَ وَقَالَ رَبِّ اغْفِرْ لِي ذُنُوبِي وَافْتَحْ لِي أَبْوَابَ رَحْمَتِكَ وَإِذَا خَرَجَ صَلَّى عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وَسَلَّمَ وَقَالَ رَبِّ اغْفِرْ لِي ذُنُوبِي وَافْتَحْ لِي أَبْوَابَ فَضْلِكَ  

"Whenever the Messenger of Allah entered the mosque he would say: 'Bismillah, was-salamu 'ala Rasulillah, Allahummagh-firli dhunubi waftah li abwaba rahmatika. (In the Name of Allah, and peace be upon the Messenger of Allah. O Allah, forgive me my sins and open to me the gates of Your mercy).' When he left he would say: 'Bismillah, was-salamu 'ala Rasulillah, Allahummagh-firli dhunubi waftah li abwaba fadlika. (In the Name of Allah, and peace be upon the Messenger of Allah. O Allah, forgive me my sins and open to me the gates of Your bounty).'"  

عَنْ فَاطِمَةَ بِنْتِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَتْ كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ إِذَا دَخَلَ الْمَسْجِدَ يَقُولُ بِسْمِ اللَّهِ وَالسَّلاَمُ عَلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ اللَّهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لِي ذُنُوبِي وَافْتَحْ لِي أَبْوَابَ رَحْمَتِكَ وَإِذَا خَرَجَ قَالَ بِسْمِ اللَّهِ وَالسَّلاَمُ عَلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ اللَّهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لِي ذُنُوبِي وَافْتَحْ لِي أَبْوَابَ فَضْلِكَ  

"The Messenger of Allah said: 'When anyone of you enters the mosque, let him send peace upon the prophet, then let him say: "Allahummaftah li abwaba rahmatika (O Allah, open to me the gates of Your mercy)." And when he leaves, let him say: "Allahumma inni as'aluka min fadlika. (O Allah, I ask of you from Your bounty)."

"The Messenger of Allah said: 'When anyone of you enters the mosque, let him send peace upon the prophet, then let him say: "Allahummaftah li abwaba rahmatika (O Allah, open to me the gates of Your mercy)." عَنْ فَاطِمَةَ ابْنَةِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَتْ كَانَ إِذَا دَخَلَ الْمَسْجِدَ صَلَّى عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وَسَلَّمَ ثُمَّ قَالَ اللهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لِي ذُنُوبِي وَافْتَحْ لِي أَبْوَابَ رَحْمَتِكَ وَإِذَا خَرَجَ صَلَّى عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وَسَلَّمَ وَقَالَ اللهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لِي ذُنُوبِي وَافْتَحْ لِي أَبْوَابَ فَضْلِكَ  

"I heard Abu Humaid and Abu Usaid say: 'The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "When any one of you enters the Masjid, let him say: 'Allahumma aftahli abwaba rahmatik (O Allah, open to me the gates of your mercy). when any of you enters the mosque he should invoke blessing on the prophet ﷺ and then he should say: O Allah, open to me the gates of thy mercy. And when he goes out, he should say: O Allah, I ask thee out of Thine abundance. (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 465)   

عَنْ أَبِي حُمَيْدٍ أَوْ أَبِي أُسَيْدٍ السَّاعِدِيِّ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ «إِذَا دَخَلَ أَحَدُكُمُ الْمَسْجِدَ فَلْيُسَلِّمْ وَلْيَقُلِ اللَّهُمَّ افْتَحْ لِي أَبْوَابَ رَحْمَتِكَ وَإِذَا خَرَجَ فَلْيَقُلِ اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ مِنْ فَضْلِكَ»  

"I heard Abu Humaid and Abu Usaid say: 'The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "When any one of you enters the Masjid, let him say: 'Allahumma aftahli abwaba rahmatik (O Allah, open to me the gates of your mercy). And when he leaves let him say: Allahumma inni as'aluka min fadlik (O Allah, I ask You of Your bounty).'" (Using translation from Nasāʾī 729)  

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ «إِذَا جَاءَ أَحَدُكُمْ إِلَى الْمَسْجِدِ فَلْيَقُلِ اللَّهُمَّ افْتَحْ لِي أَبْوَابَ رَحْمَتِكَ وَإِذَا خَرَجَ فَلْيَقُلِ اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ مِنْ فَضْلِكَ»  

[Machine] "When the Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to enter the mosque, he would say, 'O Allah, forgive my sins and open the doors of Your mercy for me.' And when he would leave, he would say the same, except that he would say, 'doors of Your grace.'"  

كَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ إِذَا دَخَلَ الْمَسْجِدَ قَالَ «اللهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لِي ذُنُوبِي وَافْتَحْ لِي أَبْوَابَ رَحْمَتِكَ» وَإِذَا خَرَجَ قَالَ مِثْلَهَا إِلَّا أَنَّهُ يَقُولُ «أَبْوَابَ فَضْلِكَ»  

[Machine] "When the Messenger of Allah ﷺ entered the mosque, he would send blessings upon the Prophet ﷺ and say, 'O Allah, forgive my sins and open the doors of Your mercy for me.' And when he would leave, he would send blessings upon the Prophet ﷺ and say, 'O Allah, forgive my sins and open the doors of Your grace for me.'"  

كَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ إِذَا دَخَلَ الْمَسْجِدَ صَلَّى عَلَى النَّبِيِّ ﷺ وَقَالَ «اللهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لِي ذُنُوبِي وَافْتَحْ لِي أَبْوَابَ رَحْمَتِكَ» وَإِذَا خَرَجَ صَلَّى عَلَى النَّبِيِّ ﷺ وَقَالَ «اللهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لِي ذُنُوبِي وَافْتَحْ لِي أَبْوَابَ فَضْلِكَ»  

"The Messenger of Allah said: 'When anyone of you enters the mosque, let him send peace upon the prophet, then let him say: "Allahummaftah li abwaba rahmatika (O Allah, open to me the gates of Your mercy)." "إِذا دخلَ أحَدُكم المسْجدَ فَليُسلِّمْ عَلى النبي، وَليَقُلْ: اللهُمَّ افْتَحْ لِي أبوَابَ رَحْمَتكَ، وَإذَا خَرَجَ فَليسلِّم على النبِيِّ، وَليَقُلْ: اللَّهُمْ أَسْألُكَ مِنْ فَضْلِكَ".  

"عَنْ عَلىٍّ قَالَ: كَانَ رسُولُ الله ﷺ إِذَا دَخَلَ الْمَسْجِدَ صَلَّى عَلَى النَّبِىِّ ﷺ وَيَقُولُ: اللَّهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لِى ذُنُوبِى، وَافْتَحْ لِى أَبْوابَ رَحْمَتِكَ، وِإذَا خَرَجَ مِنَ الْمَسْجِدِ صَلَّى عَلَى النَّبِىِّ ﷺ وَيَقُولُ: اللَّهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لِى، وافْتَحْ لِى أَبْوَابَ فَضْلكَ".  

"عَنْ عَلِيٍّ أنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ كانَ إذَا دَخل الْمَسْجِدَ قال: اللَّهم افْتَحْ لِي أَبْوابَ رَحْمَتِكَ، وِإذَا خَرَجَ قالَ: اللَّهمَّ افْتَح ليِ أَبْوابَ فَضْلِكَ".  

"عَنْ عَلِىٍّ: أَنَّهُ كَانَ إِذَا دَخَلَ الْمَسْجِدَ قَالَ: اللَّهُمَّ اغْفِر لِى ذُنُوبِى، وافْتَحْ لِى أَبْوابَ رَحْمَتِكَ، وإِذَا خَرَجَ قَالَ: اللَّهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لِى ذُنُوبِى وافْتَحْ لِى أَبْوابَ فَضْلِك".
