AbdulHamid, a client of Banu Hashim, said that his mother who served some of the daughters of the Prophet ﷺ told him that one of the daughters of the Prophet ﷺ said that the Prophet ﷺ used to teach her saying: Say in the morning: Glory be to Allah, and I begin with praise of Him; there is no power but in Allah ; what Allah wills comes to pass and what He does not will does not come to pass; I know that Allah is Omnipotent and that Allah has comprehended everything in knowledge" ; for whoever says it in the morning will be guarded till the evening, and whoever says it in the evening will be guarded till the morning.  

أَنَّ أُمَّهُ حَدَّثَتْهُ وَكَانَتْ تَخْدِمُ بَعْضَ بَنَاتِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ أَنَّ بِنْتَ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ حَدَّثَتْهَا أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ كَانَ يُعَلِّمُهَا فَيَقُولُ قُولِي حِينَ تُصْبِحِينَ سُبْحَانَ اللَّهِ وَبِحَمْدِهِ لاَ قُوَّةَ إِلاَّ بِاللَّهِ مَا شَاءَ اللَّهُ كَانَ وَمَا لَمْ يَشَأْ لَمْ يَكُنْ أَعْلَمُ أَنَّ اللَّهَ عَلَى كُلِّ شَىْءٍ قَدِيرٌ وَأَنَّ اللَّهَ قَدْ أَحَاطَ بِكُلِّ شَىْءٍ عِلْمًا فَإِنَّهُ مَنْ قَالَهُنَّ حِينَ يُصْبِحُ حُفِظَ حَتَّى يُمْسِيَ وَمَنْ قَالَهُنَّ حِينَ يُمْسِي حُفِظَ حَتَّى يُصْبِحَ

"سُبْحَانَ الله وَبِحَمْدِهِ، لَا قُوَّةَ إِلَّا بِاللهِ، مَا شَاءَ اللهُ كَانَ، وَمَا لَم يَشَأْ لَمْ يَكُنْ، أَعْلَمُ أَنَّ اللهَ عَلَى كُلِّ شَىْءٍ قَدِيرٌ، وَأَنَّ اللهَ قَدْ أَحَاطَ بِكُلِّ شَئٍ عِلْمًا، مَنْ قَالَهُنَّ حِينَ يُصْبِحُ حُفِظَ حَتَّى يُمْسِىَ، وَمَنْ قَالَهُنَّ حِينَ يُمْسِى حُفِظَ حَتَّى يُصْبِحَ".
