"عَلَيكُمْ بِكِتَابِ اللهِ، وسَتَرجِعُونَ إِلَى قَومٍ يُحبُّون الْحَدِيث عَنِّي، وَمَنْ قَال عَلَيَّ مَا لم أَقُلْ فَلْيَتَبوَّأَ مَقْعَدَهُ مِنَ النَّارِ وَمَنْ حَفِظَ شيئًا فَلْيُحدِّثْ بِهِ".
[AI] Abu Musa said, "This companion of yours is surely accurate, or else doomed. The last thing the Messenger of Allah ﷺ entrusted to us was that he said: "Hold fast to the Book of Allah. You will return to a people who love speaking about me, so whoever attributes to me what I did not say, let him take his seat in the Fire. And whoever preserves something from me, let him narrate it.""
فَقَالَ أَبُو مُوسَى: إِنَّ صَاحِبَكُمْ هَذَا لَحَافِظٌ أَوْ هَالِكٌ، إِنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ كَانَ آخِرُ مَا عَهِدَ إِلَيْنَا أَنْ قَالَ: «عَلَيْكُمْ بِكِتَابِ اللهِ، وَسَتَرْجِعُونَ إِلَى قَوْمٍ يُحِبُّونَ الْحَدِيثَ عَنِّي، فَمَنْ قَالَ عَلَيَّ مَا لَمْ أَقُلْ فَلْيَتَبَوَّأْ مَقْعَدَهُ مِنَ النَّارِ، وَمَنْحِفْظَ عَنِّي شَيْئًا فَلْيُحَدِّثْهُ».
[AI] About the Prophet ﷺ , he said: "Indeed, your companion here is a protector and a perisher. The last thing that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ entrusted to us was that he said, 'Whoever preserves something from me, let him convey it. And whoever intentionally lies about me, let him prepare his place in the Hellfire.'"
عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ فَقَالَ إِنَّ صَاحِبَكُمْ هَذَا لَحَافِظٌ وَهَالِكٌ إِنَّ آخِرَ مَا عَهَدَ إِلَيْنَا رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ أَنْ قَالَ «مَنْ حَفِظَ عَنِّي شَيْئًا فَلْيُحَدِّثْ بِهِ وَمَنْ كَذِبَ عَلِيَّ مُتَعَمِّدًا فَلْيَتَبَوَّأْ مَقْعَدَهُ مِنَ النَّارِ»
[AI] Malik, indeed your companion is heedless and destined for destruction. For indeed, the Messenger of Allah ﷺ made a covenant with us during the Farewell Pilgrimage, he said: "Upon you is the Quran, for indeed you will return to people who will desire to have discussions about me. So whoever understands something from it, then let him speak about it, and whoever fabricates upon me, then let him occupy his place in Hellfire." "I do not know which of them said it."
مَالِكٌ إِنَّ صَاحِبَكُمْ هَذَا غَافِلٌ وَهَالِكٌ إِنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ عَهَدَ إِلَيْنَا فِي حَجَّةِ الْوَدَاعِ فَقَالَ «عَلَيْكُمْ بِالْقُرْآنِ فَإِنَّكُمْ سَتَرْجِعُونَ إِلَى قَوْمٍ يَشْتَهُونَ الْحَدِيثَ عَنِّي فَمَنْ عَقَلَ شَيْئًا فَلْيُحَدِّثْ بِهِ وَمَنِ افْتَرَى عَلَيَّ فَلْيَتَبَوَّأْ مَقْعَدًا أَوْ شَيْئًا مِنْ جَهَنَّمَ» «لَا أَدْرِي أَيُّهُمَا قَالَ»
"عَلَيكُمْ بالْقُرآن، فإِنَّكُمْ سَتَرجْعُونَ إِلَى قَوم يَشْتَهُونَ الْحَدِيثَ عَنِّي، فَمَنْ عَقَلَ شيئًا، فَلْيُحَدِّثْ بِهِ، وَمَنِ افْتَرَى عَلَيَّ فَلْيَتَبَوَّأ مَقْعدًا وبيتًا مِنْ جَهَنَّمَ".
